Service charges are way too expensive as compared to other apps. Why a person have to pay 25% to the app for one booking? This is worst marketing technique. Please see other apps which also connect owners with customers like bla bla cabs etc they don't charge a single penny. Be aware users they Charge almost 1/4th of the fee.

Worst interface and the platform functions like a child made this app For example Chat with a customer... U can't go back... U have exit the app to select another job Make changes to the profile... The app repeatedly crashes Delayed chat notifications... The chat interface poor Poor chat response template.... Don't even make me talk about your AI... In the era of gpt ur app functions such pathetically.

I am a pet sitter registered on this app. This app is a cheat. I offered dog boarding service to a client on this app. The client marked the job as complete once I finished boarding the dog and handed him back to the client safely. The client paid for the service. The app refused to pay me without a written review by the client. The client's money that is rightfully mine is currently held by PetBacker. This app is a cheat. Don't offer your services on this app

We've used Petbacker successfully to review and meet 2 very satisfactory house/pet-sitters, the first of whom has emigrated, hence #2 ;) Will definitely use it as a resource again, should the need arise.

Thank yoy pet tracker for buildung this platform. I was so worried to leave my fur babies behind for long holidays as i prefer my cats to be at their own home and not in the pet hotel. With this service; i could finally be able to do that. Any chance for a plant care taker in the future perhaps?

Terribly complicated app and the fees are extortionate. We charge £30 per dog per night. for us to get paid our rate, we would have to charge customers £40 on this app! Give it a miss. There are lots of other options out there.

If there would be an option of negative star would have given that as well. Totally useless app . Have requested for cat grooming multiple times I have got 0 responses to it. Totally useless and waste of time app

Very useful app for pet owners like me! Customer service was excellent and very responsive, I had to cancel one booking because the pet sitter gave misleading information and when I arrived at the location, I was not comfortable leaving my pet there. Contacted customer service using the app, was immediately refunded so I could quickly rebook with another sitter I used before. Went on with my vacation with a complete peace of mind.

Have tried many times looking for a pet boarding but many times, their profiles are not up to date and sometimes, no one responded to my request at all ☹️. App is also not user-friendly. I cannot search by area or the price of the boarders. Even though I can book mark or put as favourite for some that I'm interested in contacting, I cannot send my request to them all at 1 go. I still have to send individually. What's the point of having a favourite icon then. 😮💨

This is a great option for those who are worried about their cats while planning for a vacation or some emergency. I stumbled upon this app while looking for a boarding for my kitties and the app is so user friendly and ensures privacy by not sharing the contact or any details. You can chat and choose the option for boarding. Everything was very smooth with daily updates from the petbacker I chose and my vacation went stressfree. Wonderfully designed app!

Was a little difficult initially to find the right person for me, with some high prices and distant location. But after a few days searching, the selections got better and we found Kahu Aloha Boarding who was close to me, offered a reasonable price and seemed great. It was the best decision we made. Thank you PetBacker and Kahu Aloha.

I don't receive notifications when someone answer me. Also, when you change to another app and come back, you lost the message you were writing. Edit: I just received a notification, thanks for fixing it. But it has sound even if the phone is silent.

Works differently on the app versus on a computer. Easier on the app. You'll still need some time to get acquanted with the app. Needs way better notification. Once in a while I'll get notified of a potential guest, mostly I have to check a few times a day. Probably lost some clients due to long response time because I wasn't notified quickly on my phone or not at all.

It's a great way for pet lovers to connect but some features of the app are horrible. One cannot update dates/ night after booking. One may require extending at times. The selection criteria for booking a job is not properly synched. For cat sitting, the only option I could select for hosting the cat was to select the one where I was supposed to walk a dog n upload pictures of dog walking and pooping. Even distance calibration was incorrect as I never took the cat out. Some specs can be fixed

As a pet sitter/walker, it is quite annoying that everytime my screen shuts off or I exit out of the app the timer restarts and I lose track of how long I've been taking care of my clients. Also, it does not track my distance walked at all. It would be cool to upload multiple pics at once rather than just 1 at a time, that doesn't make any sense. It's a solid app that has room improvement.

The worst apps are the ones that you think will work well and make life easier -- and then don't. This one is clunky, clumsy, counterintuitive, complicated. Yes, some of it may be intentional, to make sure you don't go around the app and cut it out of the transaction, some perhaps to protect the entrepreneurs who use it. But it seems there's always one more step to complete some booking or reviewing function, wasting time and effort.
