How to recover the hidden files when the gallery not working properly or forget the password. Following steps may help you solve the recovery problem.
1) Uninstall Photo Gallery & Album
2) Download Photo Gallery & Album and install.
3) Go to set a New Password.
4) The hidden files will be recovered in privacy album.
Notice:
- If your device is running Android 11 or above, please grant the "MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" permission to ensure that file encryption and management features work properly.
Foreground Service Permission Declaration：
Running the gallery as a foreground service ensures that the video can continue to play in the background, even after the user leaves the video screen. The app is good, but bring back the phone editing option and the back button that pops up when you touch the screen.

Really annoying ads. No way to choose Albums as a default when the app opens. Also, you can set up a passcode but the access to the SD card doesn't work for the "Hide" option and when you tap "Grant Access" nothing happens and the screen locks so you can't choose "Cancel". The only way to clear the screen is to kill the app and restart it. There's no option to purchase an ad free version. It would be nice if the DCIM Camera folder would always show at the top above the Gallery Albums.

Lacks certain essential functions. No edit, no move/copy to folder. You can't create a folder and often fails to create or even view albulms! If you hide certain pictures inside of an album it completely hides the entire albulm. It should only hide the pictures not the whole freaking album! There are some other annoyances but I forget what they were as I'm very tired right now. I don't see a reason to go premium with this particular app.

I was using QuikPic for years until I had to switch to this one. This app lost so many of my pictures!! When you transfer a photo into another folder it sometimes erases it and you can lose your pics. You can't delete more than 1 photo at a time. I don't like the way it organizes the photos inside the folders. When you screenshot can't find the pic. So many complaints!! This app really sucks! Thumbs down

ADS DON'T IMPROVE YOUR APPS, THEY JUST ALLOW YOU TO SCAM MONEY off of a fourth-rate gallery. Allows me to COPY images, but NOT MOVE THEM? Whose idea was this??? (shoot them) Slightly workable gallery, does have some potential if drastically improved to be more user friendly and versatile. As it is, i don't think i can even keep it in my phone.

sets up my wallpapers on my home screen perfectly. Ads Don't get bothersome. Great App so far.... The only thing missing is a custom sorting option for wallpapers and folders that is a great feature to have

My previous photo gallery app was taken off the app list and I hunted around for a replacement. I found this app. It's great. I'm able to find my photos easily and apply some enhancements with the inbuilt edit. Happily this app interfaces very easily with other photo edit apps. congratulations to the team for this. The adverts are a distraction, but can be turned off easily, however, I'd be prepared to buy this app to eliminate them. I'm looking forward to further tweaks. Thumbs up.

Has potential but still needs a make over. I'm super used to the way my gallery app is and it i wish it was like that. Its almost there. I don't like that my cat picture and cat videos are in 2 different folders, same with my family pics and videos etc..fix that. I like having the folders on the left and the pics appear beside it. I don't like clicking on the "cat" folder and having to go in to the folder to view.

Best one I've found since there's no longer a stock Gallery on Android. Bloody bizarre decision, that one !! A couple of previous ones I tried kept moving pictures around or randomly losing them !! They were backed up on Photos but that is no use to me if I wanted them on my phone. It also has some very good editing tools. Thankyou.

Seems like an ok app in terms of simple organisation of photos. I mainly want to be able to move photos out of the main camera roll and into folders. It seems to do this exactly how I want. But sadly the app has only loaded 133 out of the 665 photos on my phone. There are also far too many ads for the app to be usable for me. I would rather pay a one off fee and not have the ads

Don't use! Frustrating!! This app now comes with INTRUSIVE 30 second ads just when you try to view a few photos / pictures - you have to watch them first! This used to be a good app - worth 4 or 5 stars but now the app is there to generate money through advertising when for years this app has remained free to use with minimal intrusion. The long video ads are not needed or wanted here! I would have gladly paid a sponsorship fee to support the developer instead of having this nonsense!

The only thing I don't like is every picture and video I have saved to different folders solely through this gallery app they save all in one folder on the actual storage so Google photos doesn't even show that I put them in categorized folders. I can only see them categorized in this app

Your latest update did away with some really nice editing tools. All you have left is doodling? What happened to framing, either poster frames, or regular framing. The ability to take a picture and improve it with different filters, to fit it in different sizes, cropping it with different border colors is all gone. Sad, will be going elsewhere.

Why so many ads? I download the app for the first time, open it and immediately I'm met with an ad. Icons are moving and bouncing around to invite my click, but guess what. Those icons are for ads. Then I try to close the app and again another ad. Nope, I'm done. Too many ads out the gate. Uninstalling and looking for another option.

I love this app. The quality of this app is great. I lost all of my photos because of a storage app I downloaded. I downloaded the photo gallery app to organize the photos on my computer after I restored them. My gallery ìs where all pictures are stored until they ste put in a folder. This app has modern,easy ways to help and guide you through most of the things you need answers to. The editing ìs pretty easy, also. If I can figure it out, anyone can. I recommend this photo gallery.

Exactly what I was looking for, no fancy or enhancing gadgets, just pure easy organizing, I owned a LG Stylo 6 and I loved the gallery on that phone, so far I can do with this gallery as I did with the LG, they're both so similar to one another, so for now so far so good, I'm still messing with it so for now 3 stars. Just one major thing, PLEASE SOME HOW GET RID OF THE ADS. Recommending a pro version to get rid of them, I'm one to be willing to purchase. Will put 5 stars if you do so.

Like the app. Editing tools are just what I needed. However, the ads are very annoying, especially when the app is started and exited. I'm willing to pay for an ad-free version if fees are reasonable. Please provide such an option. Also, is it compatible with Android 12? UPDATE 3/5/23: Still doesn't have an ad-free version after more than a year. Very disappointed.
