I have over 90,000 photos from vacations and places I've been, but they're all on Google Photos, not my phone. If I were only interested in the last month of pics this would be useful. This app would be 5 star if it had Google photos integration, but without it I can't use the app.

I wanted to delete every picture that had my geolocation info on it, this helped, thank you. There is an option to only show pictures with that info even if the app can't determine the place.

I have tried several different apps that claim to do what is described but none come close to the functionality of PhotoMap. It's one thing saying you can map your photos, but it's a another thing achieving it, PhotoMap delivers as promised. That's why I bought the Pro features and ad removal, great apps deserve support for the Dev behind the app.

The Openstreetmap layer does not show any mapping imagery under the photos (just blank) but all other map layers work as expected. Otherwise the app is fairly straight forward to use. *Edit* This problem was dealt with quickly by the developer, now 5 stars.

Looks promising but there are couple of things which made me uninstall the app until these issues are resolved: * When viewing , deleting images seems cumbersome * Cannot disable the entire Internal Storage as Media Source (I am not interested in images in e.g. the WhatsApp-folder) *Ignoring e.g. the WhatsApp-folder seems not working * Many images although old, show up under todays date

Each photo is shown twice on this app. Not sure what is wrong on my phone. I verified that default photos app on my mobile shows them only once. I hope someone can help me fix this. Otherwise, app is good and feature rich.

App is great n initially I installed it to map of my pics but now ise it to clean up pics. It shows pics taken on this day for all years so I open app n delete duplicate, blurred pics etc n it is a way back to look back those memories too But lately I found a problem, when I delete pics... Their names are renamed to dot files so they are hidden but there is no way to see deleted items or delete them completely. I have to go settings app n delete all these files again. Hope they fix this prob

Do you guys have a website where we can post bugs/problems? Thanks for an answer (will change this to 4 stars afterwards, was just to get your attention). I can't find an option to omit certain folders. I have folders full of pics that are music albums etc... I don't need to see them. Usually you can hide folders from gallery view in android by renaming it with a "." in front, but doesn't work here.

Doesn't work with an SMB2 file share. Strange because I can connect to the share via the native Android file browser.

Absolute trash won't connect to my network drive. I don't have this issue with any other apps or computers

This app has been useful to me. Feature request: Please add a mode wherein the displayed map continually recenters on one's current location as one moves around. (This is the default mode of Google Maps — I think it's called "auto-centering".) Request: The app starts in the last selected display mode, e.g., Calendar. I generally use "All" mode, obtained by opening the menu and touching the world map. I have to do this every time. Please fix the app so that it will start in All mode if selected.

Good app, but the photo information is too much, need to simplify the displayed information or photo details like most other photo album apps do or let the user to choose what information to show.

Initially I gave the app a bad rating, mainly because it kept crashing. This seems to have been resolved. The app is feature rich, but has a steep learning curve as parts of the UX are not particularly intuitive. Made for nerds you might say. Performance is good where other apps struggle, like e.g. reading the meta data of pics and displaying the map overlays.

Good app. BUT adding trips with date ranges requires manual skipping month by month, which when the trip is over 10 years ago is painful. Needs actual date entry field or at least auto skip when finger left on 'back a month'. Also investigating why large samba libraries fail to fetch photos after first 200 or so... After painful entry of first trip, it is defaulting start date from prior, that is probably OK, but any attempt to change the dates via calendar tool allows.. . Now now out of space!

the app is good, the concept is cool. I realized halfway through my vacation that I forgot to turn on GPS location, so half my pictures are tagged, but I know you can manually tag pictures, but for some reason it won't save my info. write to the creator, but have not gotten a reply yet. also, depending the storage source you use, it crashes the app. I also mapped a source location to my OneDrive, but it doesn't seem to scan it to find my pictures. I wish there was a user manual or FAQ.

This app has cloud integrations with three services. Apparently, I can't mention them by name or I'm flagged as spam for "advertising", but I'll abbreviate them as GDrive, ODrive, and DBox. There are two MAJOR cloud services out there that would be far more useful to integrate with (GPhotos, APhotos) ever since GD eliminated their photo syncing services recently. Without integrations with one of these two cloud services, this app has become all but useless to me. I hope the developer can add one of these services this this app, and I'll be back for a 5 star review.

I have used the Pro version of this app for several years (Original review Feb 2017 today is 9/24/20) and should have changed 4 stars to 5 stars years ago. An excellent app but, I had trouble with the geologging feature. As expected, it shows geo tacks on a map. There is also a feature to export as GPX file. However, the export feature seems to only be accessible from a particular date. I have a 20 day trip, I see track, but exported GPX file is only for the last day. It would be very useful to be able to export the entire trip GPX as one file. Or at least to export the track for other than the last day. PhotoMap created the track (geolog) from my android phone and placed the phone photos on it. I intended to export the entire trip GPX so I could use it to Geotag my external camera photos
