Works gr8 on my Note 8. Haven't tried all experiments yet, but got idea. Flying fr Denver to SEATAC via Salt Lake City. See if capable of recording acceleration on take-off! I'll be back! PS. Asked my experience w ads. 5/5-NO ADS! 😉 UPDATE: Sorry for delay. Did I happen to mention ADHD which wasn't diagnosed until about age 50? Been trying to teach an old doug new trix! 🙃 DOH! Can't have phone on during liftoff. Something about moon trajectory being thrown off! Guess it's drag racing on 375!🫨

Pretty awesome. I would recommend adding some unit conversion though, like I was trying to look at the pressure in ATM but it only gave it in hPa so I had to throw it in my calculator to convert it. Seems like something that would be easy enough to program in.

I love the app, but I would love for it to be available for wearable. My smartwatch has a barometer and other sensors that my phone doesn't have, so it would be really nice to be able to send results from my watch. Keep up the good work <3

Experiments are fun, but real world usage is better. Raw data export capability allows better visualization and further processing. If an app should be preinstalled on all devices, this should be it.

Incredible app. I would give it six stars it if were possible. It's like a mini laboratory inside your phone ! I use it everyday for my little experiments, and the ability to export data is amazing ! Thank you very much for creating this app :)

Great app! Creates a website for other devices to connect to and browse an ongoing datacapture from an experiment. The data can be exported to a csv file, so it would be possible to further prosses it in Excel for example. Wonder if it would be possible to use it together with a ti nspire cas calculator somehow?

Even if you have zero use for this app, I recommend trying it if only to see some of the amazing capabilities of your mobile device's sensors, taken beyond raw readings, with both fundamental and advanced algorithmic processing. More advanced users might see the obvious functionality they desire for their projects.

Great app specially calibration in audio amplitude. No other app have this feature. but unfortunately there is a correction in the same. There is written dB SPL and graph shows dBFS. It will be very helpfull for us (musicians) if the meter shows dB SPL instead of dBFS. 🙏

Almost everything I need in one package. Raw data filters would be great - threshold setting for accelerometer, for instance, could be extremely useful, since they are noisy as hell.

It's a great app, you can tell that the devs really want to simply bring an something to the community to help people learn and have useful resources. No ads, easy to navigate, great resources for any assistance needed built right into the app (some options have video guides, some have a Wiki and all have a brief explanation of what they do) and I love that they are listen to the people reviewing the app and adding useful features. I wish more app devs followed in this developer's footsteps.

I've just acquired this app and it's one of the best I've downloaded. The UI is simplicity itself. It's informative and fun, the perfect learning tool. As a physics/astrophysics geek, I'm hooked! It should get 6 stars for being free and lacking adverts.

It great I've long awaited somthing like this it really is great to see. I only ask if there's away to increase the magnetic field or power of the sensor or expand the capabilitys of the magnometer please make it happen the metal detector apps are good for the field but I jus would think there be a way to increase the strength of it or use all magnet systems in the same way to achieve the desired level of strength I'm sure there's a way to do this without damaging the rest of phone too much

Great. It has very much features and looks optical nice. This app is also ad free and free of charge! Well, it depends on your phone, but this app shows me, how to discover new things about your environment. I also helped me to understand physics more because its in the reality and not only with formulas.

Ha! Every phone in my opinion, should come with this type of readouts... instead of bloatware that collects excess useless data that fills up your phone over time. Main sensors reads are nicely categorized into easily understood menus, and overall theme is clean and straightforward. Good job guys.

I've used this app with a classroom of elementary students to show how sounds can be measured when they whisper and when they roar like a bear.

Exceptional for classroom use - as a teacher (age groups 11-18) it's fantastic that I can set my phone up in place in an experiment & then control and display all the information in real time on a screen through a browser. Makes data-logging equipment for demonstrations look poor in comparison & the number of sensors it accesses is awesome.

Good fun. Wish it had more options on recording devices and sensors

This app was used for experiments in university. The engineering students had to measure the speed of sound using the app's ability to measure the time it takes to bounce sound waves. The problem is there is no control on how the app records the sound, what the graph means and what can be interpreted, and it doesn't properly control phones with dual mics and speakers leading to inaccuracies and issues with measurements. This app is poorly designed for real world applications.

It is hard to believe that such a valuable, versatile, and well-organized app exists, never mind for free and without ads or other bloat. If I could suggest one improvement: I was very surprised that you can't view the spectra you've taken over time as "carpet"-style spectrograms. I'd really like to see that functionality.

I was using phyphox to record some barometric pressure data over several days on an old phone. The first time I did it, everything seemed to work, though the export process isn't straightforward. The second time I tried it, I couldn't export the data I needed before the app let me exit the experiment without prompting me to save any of my data and then crashed. I have no idea if the data is recorded anywhere or if it's even recoverable.
