This has been one of my favorite "wind down" apps until the recent ad-pocalypse. The Royal Match ad forces me to completely shut down the app to get out of it. I was okay with an ad after every couple levels, but at the beginning AND end of a puzzle is too much. Wouldn't mind paying for just ad-free, but a monthly subscription is ridiculous. Prob not going to be playing until the ads chill out.

Only giving a one star for a bug, since I can't figure out how to contact support. EDIT: Bug has been fixed, and incredibly quickly, might I add! This game is actually pretty enjoyable (though I didn't notice I was reviewing on the wrong account, might as well just give one here), it's very well set up to force you to take breaks and not use an insane amount of time in the game in order to brute force it. I like the game, to say the least.

The ability to customize each world is not made clear to the player. Which is a shame because it is a fantastic feature. For any player interested when you are in a world and you click on anything colorable and the little menu pops up (the menu that says 5 diamonds to color) there is a little icon in the top left corner of that menu that looks like this 🔃 that let's you change the picture to a variety of different things. For example the orca whale in Atlantis can become a hammer head shark

I have loved this app a lot and seeing the world come to life as you color is one of my favorite things. It's the best coloring app I've experienced so far, but there are way more adds now and my issue is half the time the adds don't even load properly so I'm locked out of the game with a frozen add, and the only way to fix it is to force close and reopen the game and hope the next add I get actually works

Editing my update- game crashes constantly now. I can't do the dailies or open any island. Game opens fine and then freezes on loading anything else, either 97 or 100%. Edit2- your cache clearing soultion did not work, however after your most recent update my game works again! Thank you for your help! Back up to 5 stars. [P.S. - It does not affect gameplay, but I'm seeing a "APP_LOVIN NETWORK started to load ad" message pop up repeatedly in the first 1-2mins each time when opening app.]

I really do enjoy this this game but as of late the ads have been absolutely ridiculous. Having an ad play before and after every picture is a bit overkill. If that wasn't bad enough, I often have to close the app just to get back to the game because the ads have no exit. Particularly the paypal ad. The news break ad is even worse. It will start downloading the app as soon as the ad ends. I've had to restart my phone 3 times now just to stop it for downloading.

Not nearly as fun as the prior one, which allowed you to double-tap a color to automatically move the view. Seems like the devs just deliberately removed a useful feature in order to charge people (an INSANE amount, for the record) just to access something that was previously free. This comes across as really scummy. I enjoyed the last game a lot, but I don't think people should support business practices like this. What's next, charging us for the luxury of zooming in?

Some major negatives about this game to me, especially compared to the first game: -Have to pay or fully complete a map to move on to the next one ( compared to 50% like the first game) it wouldn't be that big a deal except the first map it forces you to do is horrible. Ugly and everything looks the same. Also have to do maps in order. And pay or wait 7 days between unlocking them. -full.ads sometimes having to click 3 times to get through them after every picture And I ran out of characters

One of my favorite games. However this one is way too glitchy compared to the original. For example there is a daily puzzle you can play for free, but if you miss one you have to pay gems (the ingame energy currency). That would be fine except no one could access the dailies for a week and now I have 6 puzzles I have to "pay" for through no fault of my own.

Love this app, it's very relaxing and fun. I'm only giving it 3 stars though because you have to wait a week to play a new Island after completing one unless you happen to win a golden key on the spin thing... which never happens. I understand that it's to incentivize people to buy the VIP pass, but 7 days is just excessive. All the features are perfect, the islands and interesting and fun! But the free pics are flat and boring in comparison and the app is unplayable for a week at a time for me

It's well made, it has great art work and style. Looks nice and works great with my Samsung stylus. I would enjoy it more, but each stage is locked by a key that takes DAYS to unlock. There are daily pictures to color but it hasn't worked since February. It freezes when you click on the calendar. The game could use more seasonal events too. Last one was Christmas. Sometimes I want to color, but remember I have to wait for either gems to refill or a stage to unlock.

I've completed the original pixel fun multiple times and loved it! I felt this game fell flat with mostly the graphics. The things are just blocks and don't have the unique shapes like the first one. I can understand the adds, but I feel the energy bar is really unnecessary. When actually filling in the objects, the graphics for the numbered don't feel as clean and moving around doesn't feel as smooth. I'm really disappointed with the sequel, especially since they stopped updating the original.

The ads are intrusive if you aren't doing something else too. Otherwise, they are bearable (but it would be nice to not have them of course). A few weeks ago, I accidentally uninstalled the game, and upon reinstalling couldn't log in with Google account. Something changed and I was able to log in, but a large part of my Island 8 progress and the 2 extra keys I had won in the lottery were lost (very frustrating to restart). Since then, they have added a sync button and fixed this issue again.

First one was better. Can't double tap anymore, interest you have to pay for a monthly subscription to do that which is annoying. Moving around the map is more complicated. You don't automatically get to use a finger to navigate around, instead that's an option to turn on in the settings. Its good to know they essentially abandoned the first game for this one. Guess that new island in the first one isn't coming soon anymore.

This is the best pixel art game I've tried - *great* art, great controls, and you don't have to pay unless you want to unlock things faster. I do wish the unlocking was faster or the subscription was cheaper - $9 was too much for me. Or if there was some option watch ads, to take 24 hours off the countdown or something! But honestly, that's a sign of how much I like the game so you should give it a try!

Okay, I previously gave three stars. But you expect us to pay $50 A YEAR for premium features. More then a full price video game. And then suddenly put advertisements before and after drawing. It takes longer to watch ads then to color. I used to adore this game. But after getting four ads in a row before even getting to build ( and they were still going when I closed the app ) I can not keep playing until something is changed. It's impossible to play the game anymore.

I played the first Pixel Fun to completion and decided to try this one. The wait time is uncalled for. I purchased the subscription, but its expensive. I also cannot do any of the dailies anymore due to it constantly crashing when I try to do one. It's been crashing like this for 5 days now. Edit: I have officially canceled my subscription as of today since the issue has not been resolved. It would be a waste of money to continue to pay for a feature that doesn't even work. ):

It's fun, it has nice noises when you color, it has themed worlds and that's awesome. It only plays ads after you finish a drawing, which is annoying for smaller drawings but it's better than being interrupted. It's easy to gain coins and power-ups. They recently added a calendar system where a new drawing comes out every day. This keeps you occupied while you wait for the next world to unlock. It's paced however you want it to be. Awesome.

Id say overall I really like this game it has a lot of features the ads aren't excessive and it's not glitchy. There are a lot of things to color even outside of the world's but the one big issue I have is that it doesn't always save everything you've done, like I spun the wheel but it didn't save the things I got but still took my money or didn't save where I was in the picture but still took the power ups I used. But other than that I really like this app.

Some things to consider if you're on the fence w/ subscription: There are plenty of levels for you to unlock and color. On top of that, there are other coloring activities to do other than the map. I will warn that you will lose boosts/energy you've gained/won, so if you swear you had full energy before you went to paint a picture- you probably did. There is a ton to do if you explore the app enough. I wasn't sure about the subscription but ended up buying it because it makes me happy.
