I had been doing planks and was only focusing on increasing my time. I was surprised when I tried this app, how the shorter planking times, using different plank positions, was such a better experience. I've only done a few of the beginner days, but already feel like I'm improving my core much more than my prior routine of simply trying to extend my time in the elbows on the ground position. Plus the audible queues are helpful.

A really great app. Simple interface, ads are reasonable considering this is a free app, and they do not show during exercises. I am not very fit but was able to see marked improvements by completing these workouts. Beginner Day 22 is a doozy and I retried about 6 times already and still cannot complete it. Will keep trying! I am able to do before end after day 22, but that day is a huge challenge for me!

Free and fantastic! This app has easy to follow, quick and targeted workouts that help build strong workout habits. I love that you can progress through BEGINNER, INTERMEDIATE, and ADVANCED versions of the workout. I plan to progress through them all. I also love that it allows you to pause and restart (because some times it's tough to find 5-8 min of truly down time) without loosing your progress. So far, this has been a fantastic home workout companion to strengthen my core.

I LOVE this app. You can start/tailor the workout to your fitness level. Diverse exercises mean you never get bored. If you fall of a bit, simply pick up where you left off, go back a few sessions, or go back to the beginning. Sessions get more challenging in a sensible manner. When I am consistent, I see results. Also syncs with Google Fit to help keep track of all of your activities to assess your fitness goals.

I liked this app, for the most part. It was simple and intuitive, easy to use and straightforward. However, it ramped up a bit too quickly for my tastes -- I could've done with, say, 2 or 3 days of 45 second-planks before jumping up to 60 seconds the very next day -- but the ability to swap out exercises or to adjust their time length was very useful. I was still able to challenge myself without making it too easy or feeling like I was cheating. One other qualm: one of the inspirational messages that went along with the reminders was "A good figure is worth the effort." A good figure? Really? Is this 1955? I undertook this challenge for a lot of reasons -- a stronger core helps me in my yoga practice, prevents back pain, and is good for my overall health. I could care less about "having a good figure." There are SO many more inspirational sentences you could've used that would promote strength, health, and well-being rather than aesthetics.

The new iteration of the app is even better than the old one. This is my second go around. It's easy to reset the program, and your data stays. Originally I topped out somewhere in the intermediate / advanced stage and sought to make a random program of 5-8 of the just right workouts at the level I wanted to maintain. This will be much easier with this version, as its super easy to move between and preview each days program. There is also the option of setting your own workout.

Haven't used it long but I'm definitely continuing to. The level it gauged me to is perfect, I feel the right amount of struggle & I feel with each exercise so far I'm getting the right amount of benefit & progress. The slight differences in the exercises again so far keep it interesting & new but also familiar & I think I've improved posture with a couple of the positions. It's challenging & yet it doesn't take much time at all. The graphics are very easy to grasp. Tracks improvement & weight.

Edit: the June 28 update ruined the app. The voice timer countdown is gone, and the daily reminders no longer work. Removing 2 stars. 17Jun19: Simple but effective program. i started at the very beginning and thought it might be too easy. It ramps up but at a very reasonable rate. Half way through intermediate now and very pleased with my results!

This app is really nice. Once you poke through everything becomes obvious as to function. Like the countdowns, reminders and coaching. The custom workouts are a good way to practice, and the multiple levels helo build confidence, form and comfort with the exercises. I had complained in this review about the alarm for daily reminders not working. That has now been fixed and it works fine. There are some great new features here that I'm really enjoying. Challenge mode is a great motivation.

Love it! Never did a plank until starting this app. I completed the Beginner level and am now halfway through the Intermediate level. I feel it's super easy to use, the progression is reasonable, and I love that I can listen to my own music at the same time as hearing the guided program. I'm much stronger today as a result of using this app. Do it!

Awesome App!!! Love the diversity of exercises. My body felt amazing and craved the new range of motion. I can get so stiff from short movements in my day as a mechanic. This has got my hips, shoulders and neck feeling so refreshed. I dig how it tracks history, and slowly escalates intensity over time. Also very cool how you can easily lengthen or shorten any exercise or rest period. Chicks voice is kinda weird but easy to get over. Can't wait to finish my first solid month!

Not what I expected in a good way! Three stages of difficulties, multiple plank styles laid out each day with pictures if you dont know how to do each one and a narrator so you dont have to keep looking at your phone with a manual timer for when to stop and rest. Pretty legit assuming it doesnt get overrun by ads as the days go by. So five stars for now!

I was enjoying it for the first few days, but on day 4 I was inundated with ads during the rest countdowns. These would pause the countdown so I would have to x out of the ad to continue the workout. Not once or twice, I'm talking three times in the final 5sec alone. I understand the need for ads and I did not mind the shared screen ads at all, but interrupting the workout and requiring you to take action to continue makes this app very frustrating to use to the point of being not worthwhile.

I don't like having to think about my workouts so this app is great. Reminds me to do it, done in 3-6 minutes, walks me through my exercises, not too many ads and none in the middle of the workout. Would definitely recommend looking up and practicing proper form before using this app though. Not nearly enough tips to guide form, you need to know good form feels like b/c this app won't tell you.

I appreciate that the workout is varied so you don't get bored, and that you can view a video of how to do an exercise correctly. I also like that they tell you how to modify an exercise if you need to - except for the Cobra pose at the end. If you have lower back issues, I would do that on your elbows, and press back into Child's pose when you're done. Great app!

Good day! This is a very good exercise app, I'm loving it.. One suggestion though, I think it's a good idea to add setting for rest period(like I can set it from 0 to 60 seconds) because the default 30 seconds is long for me and maybe short for others, so that no need to press skip everytime. Other features are very good especially you change and rearrange the sequence.

Despite the ads that play after each workout, it's still a pretty good app. I was really impressed at first, but then on Day 14 the difficulty of the workouts jumped way up. It was hard for my motivation to go from "this is a challenge but I can do it" to "I canNOT keep up with this workout." I've had to modify every workout since then, and I'm not even close to keeping pace with the app. I don't understand, and I'm sad that I can't follow along with the challenge. I'm using the Beginner track.

App is very easy to use. Ads not annoying nor disruptive. Update: they added a warmup and cooldown to the main routines. Great. But no pause programmed in, so you lose a few seconds between each event. Would be nice to have a countdown to next. Found that I can customize the rest length and event lengths. Nice! Provides nice "tips" on form, and short video clips demos.

So far so good, I just completed Day 1 workout. The timer is visual, the voice tells you what to watch out for, workout is customized to the goals and weight/height, amount of exercises just right. Will be using the app for a while as long as there are no distracting commercials and it's free.

I like the app (after 2 days) But I am a beginner, doing the beginner challenge and the fact that there is no pause between the standing warm-ups and going into planks on the floor and again finishing Cobra stretches and expecting to stand up instantly and do the arm stretches is ridiculous. There should be a pause built in between standing and on the floor exercises. It certainly did no good to set my own resting length.
