Cute plant, fun way to keep drinking water. There are very limited free options, the app is very pushy about their subscription plan. The subscription plan is very over priced for essentially a calculator. Also if you try to scroll past an ad, the ad opens in your browser. This is incredibly annoying as it takes you out of the app. I also feel this is a violation of my time. I should not be forced to be pushed outside of the app just to scroll farther in the app.

I genuinely enjoy the appearance and think the idea of taking care of a little plant (and yourself) is really cute. I am a little frustrated that the plants get so dehydrated so fast when you're just starting on the app, especially when you need to go from nearly zero water in your day to 15+ cups. It's a large transition and I end up feeling discouraged when I can't keep the plant happy as I'm getting used to drinking more water.

This app used to be so much fun. I liked saving up to buy cute new plants and unlock the creatures through combinations. That's impossible now that half the required plants need a subscription, and the price is absolutely ridiculous. I'd pay $5 a year for this, not $70. Completely outlandish, and they shove the price in your face by begging you to subscribe every time you open the app. Very disappointed. I'll remember the good times as I go find a new app.

Lots of ads. Like this app *really* wants you to buy the upgraded version. Makes it difficult to use otherwise. Also it takes a while to load, making it clunky for casual water tracking. This makes me not want to purchase the app. Lastly, no widget option. So to use you have to load the clunky app. Cute when open and not pop up ads though. Well. I've decided to delete the app. It's just to clunky and has too many pop ups to be a convient water tracker. So long.

Cute, but a bit clunky. I have to set the default cup to the smallest amount possible (4 oz) because that's the only way to actually input most of the amounts my cups hold. The free version is very limited and I'd be open to paying the subscription except I can't log in at all; every time I try, it just redirects me to the app, which restarts and doesn't log me in. Being able to log in directly from the app would make it a lot easier.

The plants, creatures, and graphics are really cute and I really like discovering new creatures that comes with plant different combinations of plants. It also really helps me keep up with my water intake. However, I looked the app more before the "upgrade". You use to be able to use acorns to "buy" plants but they took that away and now you need a subscription to access most of the plants. I like the app but I'm not paying a yearly subscription for digital plants to keep up with my water.

The app is really cute and well made, I like all the colors, and I'm actually drinking water for once, I love it. Edit: I can't log in to my account which is annoying so i lost my progress, and the app is a little slow/glitchy sometimes, but it's still a nice app, I like how they have the articles and what-not, though I wish they had a bit more of a tutorial or informative section on what you can do and how to do it. BULLCRAP: I wrote a review but I didn't get the silly little star pot :'(

Very cute app, and I am actually improving my water intake which is saying a lot for me. However there are many aspects of the app you have to pay for like most of the plants, and pretty much any stylish flower pot (unless you want to watch a ton of ads). It's not a huge deal, but it does kind of make staying hydrated feel a little less rewarding, especially since there's not much of a reward for reaching daily hydration goals in the first place, other than your plant growing.

Very cute app! Definitely helps me keep track of my water intake with cute plants. The subscription is cheap and adds a lot of features (the app is still great without them tho) but I probably won't continue after the trial because you have to pay yearly instead of monthly. I have a tendency to forget about apps like these, so a year subscription would just be a waste of money, lol. Would definitely keep if I could pay monthly, though!

Cute plants/graphics and good for tracking water, but overall super glitchy and laggy. Has ads but they are not overbearing. I've had this app for years and have just seen it get a little worse with each iteration. You used to be able to buy certain plants if you accrued enough currency (seeds, but now clovers), but now it's only for subscribers. please give the option to 'buy' plants with clovers even if some of the fancier ones are reserved for subscribers.

while I really like the functionality after learning more things you can do in the app, it seems that pricing for premium is just ridiculous. my wife has water Llama for iPhone and that cost $6 for a lifetime of premium... compared to $6 a month for this? I can't justify spending that kind of money knowing there are apps out there that are equally as fun but don't rip off their customers. maybe if it was $2 a month for premium I would consider.

Plant Nanny is a great app to help keep track of daily water intake. In addition to water intake tracking and reminders to stay hydrated, you can do other game-ified things in PN. You can grow (and level up) cute plants, unlock achievements, and use in game currency to unlock cool accessories (all kinds of flower pots) for your plant. I love how in game currency can be earned in PN. You can get it from watching ads and from unlocking certain achievements. I love the app, so far!

This is a very simple but easy way to remember to drink water. Having the plant is like a little buddy that you don't want to let down. You do need a premium to get a bunch of plant types and more specific notifications, but you can customize and set up a simple reminder system without it. Overall, it does what it said it would do. (I haven't tested different size cups yet, but I saw that they have options for that as well)

I had collected many of the plants, back before the hard reset. it was sad to see that the update not only lost all my progress, but now many of the plants are for members only now. Other than that, it's a fun way to track water intake. I especially appreciate that the recommended water intake factors one's weight and exercise into it.

cool app! as per usual with most of these self-care apps, there are quite a few things locked behind a payment plan (60 something dollars a year! imo its pricy, and as far as I know there isnt a flat price you can pay.) including decoratives, 90% of the plants, and more detailed notifications. however it does what it says it would do and the core features are free!

Was recently diagnosed with POTS and was advised to drink more water. I don't really feel thirsty so I wanted an app that would remind me to drink water. This app is similar to Finch in that it makes it a game which makes it easier for me to stick with. It suggested a huge amount of water initially, so I'd encourage you to listen to your body and gauge on your urine output/kidney function. I wish it had more frequent reminders. Every 30min to take a few sips would be nice so I dont chug lol

I have used this app on and off for years. I wasn't positive until I came to check the reviews, but they definitely locked more behind a paywall. You can only get SIX plants before you are forced to subscribe for ANNUALLY at $70 to get more. You can't buy them indv either. At that point, it's entirely useless as it is boring to replant the same ones. It takes way too Long to gain seeds to buy different pots as they no longer offer ads for them. Disappointed and will be looking for a new app.

I really liked the app, but the reminders can only be set every two hours and I would like it to be more often because sometimes I ignore one and delete and forget to drink water for another 2 hours. Other than that I liked the app but I'll be switching to another one since thats a huge problem for me since the point of getting a water reminder app is to be reminded to drink water often.

Super cute and easy to use. I constantly forget to drink enough water so this is very helpful. All the sounds and visuals are relaxing and therapeutic. Growing your flower makes you feel a bit more accomplished from drinking water. Only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is it's a very expensive subscription for what it is. I could see it being $5 a month but its $8 which is steep. Also kind of ad heavy.

-I LOVE the cute little animations! It's definitely been very helpful for me to stay on top of my water with the notifications & the adorable little plants!😍 -A suggestion would be to pleeaassee add widget capabilities! A quick water cup, even if it's only one oz amount setting, would be super helpful & another reminder to drink water. I know that there used to be when the app first started. Definitely too many ads/prompts to pay for premium though.
