After Pluto TV stopped working on my old phone, I eventually bought a new phone. It seems like every time I try to use this app, it wants to update, which takes so long I usually go somewhere else like YouTube or Tubi rather than wait for it. When I do watch a movie, they really load up the ads in the last 30 minutes. Three blocks of ads (5 or 6 or more at a time) in 30 minutes. I guess they figure that if you made it that far, you weren't going to quit watching So they really load up the ads.

The app just recently went through an update and it is more intuitive than ever. The programming offered on PLUTO TV is top notch. The "Movies" section of channels especially. The 70's movies channel is curated with many outstanding films. The channels and content offered on PLUTO often make it hard to believe that it is a FREE platform for streaming and live TV. Highly recommend. My suggestion to those having issues with glitching: dump cache, force stop, restart app.

Great app,Good job! To make it idealš1.crashing/stopping, glitches, freezing & errors in the middle of a shown committed program (in progress).š2. too many commercials, that (interrupt) the viewing pleasure. The timing to phase to commercial. Three being the most. In quick succession. Don't let the viewer LOSE interest in (your) programming/APP!! Just an observation.š¤š Thank you for this app. I appreciate you.

Can't finish one program w/o crashing! I used to watch this app ALL the time and loved it, but over the last 2-3 months it's had constant issues w/crashes, unable to play, or not showing the guide or channel information. I used to enjoy the on demand and start from beginning features, but now they don't work! It's a continuous buffer or playing catch up with every channel and that never used to happen. I noticed others are losing their favorites just like me! PLEASE FIX THIS APP!

A real piece of junk. At first it seemed like Pluto TV was a great app but after several weeks the problems started to be more visible. Way too many commercials, more than regular tv. Great selection of programming turned to poor selection, seems to be the same episodes or movies every two weeks. The app also seems to keep having the same problem with pausing for several minutes while watching a program. Poor quality all around.

Latest issue (3-2025) videos pause a lot, like they're not buffering right. :/ I have to fully close and reopen the app while trying to watch stuff. :/ [end] Prev: Thanks for fixing the issue from: 9/21/2022 - The favorites didn't save. When I re-opened the app, they were all gone. It up a lot of time, but now it's fixed :) [Previous: 2/05/2022] The channel selection is better than terrestrial TV, plus on-demand movies and shows. It's even easy to mute. Pluto is a win. Esp. with the 40+ crowd.

l have loved Pluto since the first time I used it, until a couple of weeks ago. Since the last update it SUCKS freezing and locking up numerous times during a show. Not worth watching if you can't watch the show in its entirety. A friend of mine is on a different phone network and has a different make of phone and is experiencing the same issues.

This free streaming app is definitely up there with the other free ones because it has tons of movies and shows but the only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because on the app unfortunately, while you're trying to find something to watch the live TV is going to pop-up first and be in the background until you do find something & on an actual TV this app is kind of confusing even with the remote so hopefully you get the hang of it because they have tons and tons of movies and shows.

Way to many commercials shows/movies play for 3 minutes tops then its back to the same old repeated 8 minutes long commercials that advertise things no one can afford. I guess this is how this stays free even if it's a major inconvenience very hard to get into the TV show or movie with all the frequent commercials they are just as bad as regular TV. Ps get rid of the little commercial timer wheel thing you use since even when it fills up you still play commercials anyway. Edit uninstalling FU!

Unwatchable on my V88 android TV box, because it's in portrait mode on my TV. Default display orientation is portrait, and it doesn't appear to have any manual settings to choose between landscape mode and portrait mode. To the developer: you say it isn't available on my V88 Android TV box. Oh, but it is, I have it, but it requires the installation of Kodi media center. It has better resolution than your android app as well.

Really good content but the app is extremely buggy. It won't keep my saved list, it won't display seasons of a lot of things, and it doesn't even play the on demand content now it just brings up whatever was playing on the live screen. Not sending an email, so don't bother requesting it, I just told you the issues I have. Also, your commercials are too frequent compared to similar apps. Keep your content gatherers, replace your technical dept managers.

It works most of the time, but there are two big annoyances: #1). The app sometimes hangs loading the Channel Guide and it remains stuck there with an incomplete screen until you force it to close, clear the cache, and restart it. #2). The commercial for "Avalon Cruises" is shown SO MUCH that we are sick of seeing it. Repetitive is putting it mildly. It is shown on every channel, and every few minutes. I would pay good money to never see that ad again.

I have used this app onul multiple devices (phone, tablet, tv, etc) and never had any issues with functionality. I love this app. I will post that I got a surprise today from my phone saying that I had used 2 gigs of mobile data on my phone for this app but the phone is on WiFi signal. No setting to restrict it to wifi only but never say that before. Very happy with this app.

Commercials don't bother me and choices are great. Complaint- over the last 2 months, while casting to chromecast, there is constant buffering. Some movies won't load, message say "we're working on this". It's not my end since 3 other streaming apps work fine, and coincidentally, your commercials don't buffer. ?? (Samsung Galaxy/android)

I would give it five stars if it weren't for the movies being super quiet, then an ad comes on and is so loud, it blasts my ear drums. This happens both on my phone and my tv. Could you work on that please? It happens on every single ad. So I can't name just one ad in an email to you. All of the movies are super quiet, so I crank up my tv or my phone, whichever one I'm using at the time, then ads come on blasting very loud.

This app reminds me of the days of broadcast TV and cable. The app could be much better if they could normalize the volume of everything that airs to the same volume. It's really annoying a jarring to turn up the volume to hear some dialog in a show, then an ad plays and its painfully loud compared to the show. Please fix that.

Glitches all the time and buffers constantly. When it glitches, the pic freezes and you can hear the sound. Once the sound catches up to the frozen part of the pic, it resumes as normal. I have this app installed on 4 devices. Two are on 2 separate Smartphones, 1 on a smart TV and the other on a Smart Device connected to a regular Tv. All glitch. However, Pluto TV does not play on my smart TV, despite doing an up update. Overall, not a reliable app but, it is free to watch.

I'm not sure if the new app update resulted in a problem, but ever since the update, the shows don't stream to my TV smoothly. There is stalling and gaps in timing. I have reset amd update all my internet servers, and even so much as reinstalled the app but it continues to be an issue. If there is a fix please let me know. Up till now it has been a great service. Thank you.

There are way too many ads compared to Tubi and other free services. Its not my 1st choice for free entertainment, but if it's the only option for what I'm trying to watch then I deal with it. Reduce the number of ads and the amount of time between them. There are also countless glitches that are causing me to have to restart the app numerous times before I even finish a 30 minute tv show.

I really want to love PlutoTv, but I can't even look at the information description of the program without actually changing to that channel on android. On most apps, a person can "long-press" for further information like on chromecast & roku, which works great. Not here. I expect more from a Paramount backed enterprise. UPDATE: Thanks, folks. You apparently corrected the problem quickly. I'm thankful that many of the issues are addressed, and for a "free" app, this is greatly appreciated.
