My original post wasn't posted. This does not work the that it's advertised. I will be sending it back. Android to Apple it open up Apple pay...every time I unlock my phone it prompts me to open the app...which is annoying. Android to Android it does transfer the your info. Nothing happens. I attempted to use the QR code and that doesn't work. I think this is a great idea, but it has a lot bugs they need to work out.

At first it was ok. I placed it on to my phone, activated it with no problems. I was able to add all my links and info again, no problems. Notice my name was incorrect and tried to edit it, but the app won't let you, also every time I open my phone, it tries to activate or ask my if I want to open it. It's really annoying.

One of the most beneficial apps I've ever used. Not only does it work well, but I owe popl credit as I wouldn't be where I am in life and made connections with the people that I have without it. I have multiple phone cards, the popl dot, xl, as well as the metal card. Never had any problems and love all the updates they come up with to stay up to date in the modern world. All of my friends have popl now too. And it has done wonders for them! I love every bit of it!

I activated popl on my Note10+. when I open my phone, the app asks to be the default action, so me opening my phone would automatically open the app, which I didn't want but had no other option. As a result, I uninstalled to use on my Note8. Touching a phone to share info does not work with that phone. Plus, the business account is subscription based, they don't tell you that (maybe I missed it) before purchasing. I'm pretty disappointed by that. So all in all, doesn't work for me

Buyer beware. Very disappointed in this product.came across an ad instantly thought it would be perfect for our business. Went ahead and purchased a few. Only after they got here and I installed the app on the phone was I made aware that it's a subscription service in order to have all of the features which was never disclosed.had I known the only option to utilize this product effectively would be through a subscription I would have never purchased.

Could be a lot better. I bought one soon after they came out.. before you had to pay for certain features. I agree that if the other person doesn't have the stuff turned on it's more of a hassle than it is easy. Some phones do not have it if they're older which isn't a big deal but makes it useless. App also has problems sometimes. Logged in today and it won't let me edit anything. Screen is blank with a purchase tab at the top. You pay for something you may or may not use.

Got my popl today & it has many glitches out the box. The app mixes up the business & personal Info so if a customer taps it or downloads your contact Info from the popl, your personal picture may come up on the business side. Also, when you try to update or change information on the app it will not save new info. The app keeps crashing. Only had it for 2 hours & app is spinning in circles with a white screen. I even shut down/restarted my phone & it's still crashing & now I'm here frustrated.

Seems like a cool idea but... The app was super buggy when I used it and it wasn't working very well. Another problem I have is that it acts like apple phones are the only phones out there. They have instructions that reference iPhones but no other phones, and their app icons are all apple icons. I also don't like the layout of the website, every things too big. The last reason is that they have an only fans option, which I dont support. I understand why, but don't support it.

Worthless. The device doesn't work with my phone... therefore it doesn't work with many people's phones... Even if it is compatible, there is a chance someone's phone settings won't let you. In short, it might work with some people some of the time. The app is very glitchy. Crashes or gets stuck on the paywall screen. After wastinf 20 bucks on a plastic dot that probably won't work, you CAN'T have a business profile without paying $50 a year. This is a joke. Just text your customer. It's free.

The app sucks. It shuts down ever 48 seconds. When you are editing bio, you save but yet it doesnt actually save the update. You add something to the personal side but it shows on business....its a good concept but the app itself is the issue. 2 hours i have been setting this thing up and I am about to return it to sender just because of the app issues. It would also be ethical if you would state that this only works with phone that have NFC!!!! NO where does it say that before buying!!!

This app was very slow for my phone (android) but seemed to work perfectly fine on my friends (apple). I was finally able to set it up and thought okay great that was easy until I turned off my phone and as soon as the phone was unlocked I get immediately transported to the Popl app, I wasn't able to do anything to fix it. Not very happy at the moment.

I was careful to not jump into the first digital business card I saw, but after reviewing Dot, Linq, Ovou and more I felt that Popl would provide the most customization and analytics to help me business grow. For the low price, it was definitely worth trying. Popl's ease of use and seamless integration with other phones and apps has been outstanding for my business! It impresses clients, saves money, and makes you look like you're ahead of the competition. I won't be going back to paper cards!

It seems like a cool idea. And, it's a pretty nice talking subject too. Though, it's definitely not user friendly to use it. I have the circle sticker that you put on your phone. I've only tried it a dozen times or so, and none of the times it has worked (except with my phone). I just have people scan my code. I like just having one thing. And, how it's social media centered. I'll probably get a customized card next. And, am planning on trying the pro because of all the cool things.

The app and service did not meet my needs, I cannot personally recommend the product. This is basically a review of my experience with customer service. I canceled the service but was still charged because of how the billing is handled (the reason for the 4 stars). When I notified customer service they were quick to respond and able to solve the issue.

Update: Sent an email I to support and within a couple days, they squashed the Pixel bug. Fast work! Awesome support! Thank you! Popl the idea works amazing! Unfortunately, the app keeps blowing up my Pixel Pro 8. Whenever I go into the dot menu and click a setting, it bugs out. Can't close the app, app will takeover the open app switcher feature on Android. The only way to fix it is to reset device. 😟

So I got one of these devices on sale & was sooo excited. Til I used it & noticed all the bugs & glitches in the app. Doubling a contact I added, doesn't respond to my touch & when it does, its slow. & Omg I didn't know what an NFC was til today. It might b easier for some ppl to use it to connect the popl devices.It wasn't for me tho. Actively made me question if this was worth buying & it wouldn't give me another option til I messed with the app. Which took a long time bc the app lagged so bad

Online experience talking with them is amazing they're very fast and eager to help you. I give the online service experience 5 star but as far as the app experience I give it a 3 due to the fact that I keep getting a notification when I open the app that my network connection is offline and that is incorrect. As soon as that notification can be fixed I will return to this and give it a Five Star All Around.
