1. Monthly fee waived if you receive qualifying direct deposit(s) totaling at least $1,000 in the thirty-five (35) days preceding the date on which the monthly fee is assessed.

4. Make up to $500 in fee-free cash withdrawals per day from your Porte account by using your debit card at participating ACE Cash Express locations. $500 total is calculated based on all withdrawals performed at all ACE Cash Express locations visited in a day. Insecure! Avoid at all costs. Someone signed up for an account using my email address. I installed the app and was able to reset the person's password and email address along with see all their personal information. Verify email addresses before creating accounts. It really isn't that hard of a concept; in fact if you hire real developers they would've done this anyway.

$50 referral was delayed and customer service was not helpful. After I gave up on getting the credit it was added to my account a couple months later. It is difficult to link banks as most do not recognize Porte. Beware it is much easier to transfer money in then to get it back out. However the 3% interest is some of the best around so if that is all you care about this could be a good option.

I've only just installed the app and completed the enrollment process (hence the 3 star rating as of now). Sign-up required the typical post-9/11 identity questions, though from start to finish the process went much more quickly than with other apps I've used. Issuance of a virtual debit card was immediate and funding the account looks easy enough. I havent yet found instructions for depositing cash but I've LITERALLY only had the app for less than 5 minutes.

Tons of bugs and lacks offerings/products. For example, the app keeps asking me to set up a 4 digit login pin everytime i sign in, and it never retains the pin so i have to sign in woth my password everytime. Also not compatible with Zelle, doesnt offer credit cards or loan products, and no investment/brokerage options available. If it weren't for the high savings rate, i would close account immediately.

Everything was going well until a day ago, when for no answered reason at full 5G coverage, I found myself unable to access my account through this app. It allows me to enter my pin and do my fingerprint but never loads the next screen. I've hard reset my phone numerous times in attempt to get it working, to no avail. This puts me at a major disadvantage.

Not worth it!!! Have not had this card long and already having problems. I can not activate my new permanent card through the app or by phone. Now I'm having to wait 2 days before someone from customer service can call me back to help with this issue because it had to be escalated. That most certainly is not very reassuring that I chose a good prepaid card to go with. I think I liked the Flare card better. I mean at least you could connect it with your cash app account.

I would give the review a negative if I was able. Trying to use the Mobile check deposit but it does not want to function at all. It just keeps saying the app keeps stopping. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and I thought that might help but when I tried it again it's still not working it keeps saying the app stopped working. I hope they fix the problem soon because it's really getting annoying.

5 stars for great customer service, excellent. 4 stars for the app itself. Had a rocky beginning with the app and wasn't able to use it but their customer support was great, and fixed the problem. 4 stars for the qualification for the savings account. Not a huge deal but understandable. Friendly UI, sleek and clean. 4/5 hope to see Porte do better in the future.

Avoid this app. I didn't even finish CREATING my account (just got the confirmation code by email) and the account was instantly locked due to fraud. I didn't finish setting up the account! I just got a confirmation email and a code. That's it! I can imagine how people must feel when they actually have money in the account and can't access it. Customer support was helpful, but I'm suspicious of this app. AMEX Bluebird or Ca$h App is 10x better than Porte.

Trash. They need to fix the issue of the app not loading. That's ridiculous. To be fair, last year I was with keybank. And there were enough times that this same issue happened with their app that I'm starting to believe online banking is not very reliable. I think these apps strive to offer a bit too much instead of simplifying and streamlining the experience so that's more reliable. All ppl need the ability ro do is check balances and send and receive money. Be more like cashapp.

On the evening of 01/23/23 the app was updating/under construction. Now today, 01/24/2023, when I open the app the screen is completely blank and I am unable to view any content. Just curious on what's going on. Other than this incident, this banking program and app have been wonderful. Thank you for the prompt response. It's a great app and I am looking forward to the program fully functioning.

This app acts up if you log in too many times in a day. Making it inconvenient for me to check my balance and transactions. I have my username and password saved and use my finger print to open the app and it keeps telling me my password is wrong which I know it's not and gives me an error with my finger print when I literally just logged in with the same credentials the same day. The push notifications also don't work all the time. Sometimes they come through sometimes they don't. Inconsistent!

Every once and awhile, the app logs me off “due to an error”. The app seems to log me off whenever I tried to open the app through the notification. Once I log in, instead of taking me to what I selected in the notification, it takes me to the dashboard. Then when I look at the push notification again, the message in the notification disappears leaving an empty notification. So I am unable to fully read any push notifications. It would be nice if I also got an email about account changes.

3% saving rate is amazing! Top of the class! App is great. Couple of suggestions for improvement would be to make transferring money out more easier. Also make the savings rate transparent in the app..some place where we can easily see the current savings rate (unless I am not looking right). Hopefully u don't change the savings rate to .25% one day and not inform us.

I came across Porte trying to find another bk, decided to try this instead. SO glad I did! There are several features you'd never get with a traditional bank and they're all great! Instant transfer (even from external accounts), physical AND virtual debit cards to use for spending, but can be deleted after your payment to help prevent theft/ fraud. Those features alone had me!! Easy to navigate, no fees, good security. Exactly what I needed & so simple to open.Take 5 mins,sign up! You'll love it

This was a good app until the past month or so. I'm having the same issues as many have complained about. I can't even login. I get a verification code; doesn't work. I cleared cache and data; doesn't work. I've deleted and reloaded app; doesn't work. Just sits on the screen to enter verification code and nothing more. Don't respond asking to contact customer service as you have with others. Clearly you haven't fixed the issue!!! Take away the last update and leave it has it was. I'm done.

Great app. Very convenient. I'm using it since 09/2023. But now for maybe 2 months, very slow or no loading app. I thought it was my phone or carrier. But even in a different device the app either doesn't load or loads after a long buffering time. This has been since 02/2024 I think. I've even reinstalled. Still same problem. Customer Service is STELLAR though!!!

update..more trouble with logging in on app. was on call for over an hour with support. had to call twice. was transfered 9 times before someone was able to help me. was hung up on once. was told I was not able to do something I had been doing forever with the app. later found out I could do it and found that out on my own. no access online except the faulty app. suggestion: train your support team, require fewer transfers to find right person, provide online access without an app and fix app.

I have yet to get passed creating a password and I've been trying since the 2nd. It never stops buffering after and it doesn't save so I can't login in. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, tried on and off wifi and regular phone data. What in the world is going on. How am I supposed to trust my money is safe and accessible when I can't even get past creating the app account.

Well.. since I've had the app.. it's gone down at least once a week. Today it went down not able to connect to servers. Talked to customer service literally 3 minutes after they got to work. They knew nothing about it. And then when they DID verify the app wasn't working, told me they couldn't transfer money from my savings to checking without the app. That wasn't working. That they had no estimated time it was to be fixed. I'm done with this and I'm switching.
