There are options available through the power e-trade app that are not available in the standard app version, and vice versa. I spend a good portion of my day rotating between both apps. The power app should (in theory) have more trading options than the alternative junior app, however in many instances this is not the case (ex. Placing advanced or contingent orders, strategy grouping, pre-market default settings, etc.). I do enjoy etrade, but as for app UI, time to upgrade guys... please!

It's a mobile app, not a complete desktop. I trade exclusively from Power etrade on my phone. I love it!!!! I trade stocks and options. You can enter complex trades. Easy charts to read and indicators. It rarely ever lags with verizon cell service. Customer service is wonderful. Amazingly easy to read and get around. I would like to be able to add custom indicators and be able to enter OCO orders. Other orders are great. I don't expect complex analysis on a mobile app..it's fast and functional.

Market data lag upon every startup if this app is getting really annoying. If you open the app and move around too fast, you'll be forced to close the app and reopen in order to get the market data information to show. I can't believe how slow and long it takes to load the options/market data information. There are FREE brokerage apps that can do it faster. Please fix or else I'll be forced to move my portfolio to another brokerage

Finally! Power etrade for mobile! Definitely needs some testing. But I am truly impressed how you have the scanners and legit charting here. I would be curious to know if I can add my custom built scanner from the pc version into the mobile app. And also, there is no pivot point fibonacci indicator to pop into the chart. Overall I love it from first glance.

Etrade has a great abilities especially when it comes to the executions, however, their tools are not as good as their name. Two separate mobile app for what reason? It's really frustrating switching between these two to get overall information about the company and for 1 minute chart. Level 2 is not detailed like Pro, Slow and freezing charts that needs refreshing to appear, watchlists doesn't update automatically, watchlist notes in Pro is not accessible , extended hours doesn't update, and...

I was going to be more critical until I noticed it was still in beta. That being said, while I do occasionally use the desktop E-Trade applications, I end up charting with a different online software and placing orders here. It's definitely a cleaner interface than the last app but needs a lot of work. I would like to see account balance chart over time, options price chart, statistics for my account, better price and volume data, etc. I refer to other "gamefied" apps often for more info.

the limit price is automatically set for new trades when you start them. if you change the limit price to what you want, on the preview page the limit didn't actually change. it stays at the default limit. I've traded positions at the original limit even after I changed it, when trying to trade quickly on the phone. this is a HUGE HUGE bug and has cost me. it needs to be fixed immediately. you need to preview the order go back and change the limit price again (sometimes 2-3 times) then make sure

Please add a buy sell overlay right on the chart display like you had on the original etrade app. Very useful to be able to buy right on the chart screen for quick trades. Also would be great to add the option to instantly buy at the current price with just the click of a button on the chart screen. Also some different background colors would be nice. Like a dark gray. Also if I want to sell individual parts of a position I can't. I have to log in to the site to be able to expand my position

Overall its is a good app, some strange things occur when futures trade in overnight, ie Watch list lose some of the contracts you have saved. Its very frustrating to have to reload many of the key contracts in the morning. Whats strange, is it seems so random as to when it happens or what contracts are deleted, almost as if someone is doing it on purpose.

Can you please provide reporting? P&L especially for options would be really helpful after being sold. Performance area is a good start, but amounts are misleading and don't help much by themselvers. We need a consolidated view for option symbols to see break even, gains losses, num of contracts, etc. Also, see popuo message at the top of the app many times that it can't get quote information even though I'm on steady WiFi. Thank you!

Garbage platform, extended hours start at 7am, I lost lot of money because of that. You can't save extended hours orders for the next day, the freaking order get canceled ending the day, that means you lose money as well, you can't keep your profit or losses on time after hours, most stup thing I ever see, doesn't make any sense you're able to open an order but the dashboard got stuck, and you can't follow your real gain or losses, unbelievable, completely trash...

Very risky. This app stops working in times of high market activity. So right when you need access to your charts, information, and funds you may be stuck staring at a spinning wheel on your screen. Last time the market slid my app completely lost connection. I had to open a web browser just to see the tickers for the major indexes. I've spent an hour on the phone trying to see if this will be fixed but gave up after an hour on hold. I'm currently shopping for a more reliable platform.

Since mid-December this app has been on the fritz. If there is no fix soon I will be closing my account & switching to a different brokerage. The app is no longer allowing me to log on, unless I attempt to log on over & over until it finnally does. It takes forever to load watch lists and charts. The app is taking an extremely long time to place orders. The candlestick charts are almost never accurate as well. PLEASE FIX!! Called twice this morning for help, 20 min hold times no pick up!

This new app is terrible. Not user friendly at all. I can't see the watch list without logging in. Too many screens to navigate through to find what I'm looking for. No way to use the old version appears to have been by design so the new software can track everything you do with your device. Disappointed and unsatisfactory experience. May need to take my business elsewhere.

There are some SERIOUS issues with the app. I've been using it for over a year but am seeing some real problems lately. Examples: on a particularly rough day on the market, my 'daily performance' in the app was showing a daily loss of $4,100. But, the ACTUAL daily loss was $1,800. A MASSIVE difference. ARKG ticker was showing $100.51 when the ACTUAL price was 105.73 (verified with multiple platforms). E-Trade FIX THIS APP! Decisions are being made using erroneous data from this app.

This is the way to go. Very intuitive for an app. I can tell these devs knew what they were doing in the design of this app. I love the options section. So easy and yet full of detail where you need it. I have one complaint. The live action scanners need to be customizable for price size, volume, things like that and you need to able to filter the scanner from highest to lowest for a particular data point. When I search for unusual premarket activity, I need to see relative volume numbers, etc

Upgrade to version 5.9 omits a very necessary step. Using Android on a Samsung with current level OS, the default web browser is not remembered, and you can not read the news. There is no setting in any part of the setup that allows you to change web browsers or use the system default web browser. This needs to be fixed. Tech support claims only solution is to uninstall / reinstall. Terrible customer experience.

All performance metrics are now missing, they just show as zero despite trades having taken place. The app cannot stay open/realtime streaming in the background for longer than 10 minutes requiring another login each time, despite giving the app unrestricted battery management. This particular issue has been ongoing for years. I don't want a canned response as usual, I want it fixed. You need a new technology team, you're way behind other brokers.

Feedback for mobile app. I did not have these issues in last few years but now facing below. Etrade team, kindly respond. Profit and the balance keeps fluctuating. E. g. If I sell the stock and earn $1500 profit it shows any amount like $4000 Profit or sonetimes negative. Day profit balance keeps fluctuating unrelastically as well. It shows any options price but doesn't get execute at that price. I am not talking about real fluctuations but technically faulty fluctuations

I have used it for option trading. I really like the simplicity of the interface but the P/L chart is off by more than a power of 10x. For example: the underlying is $30, I buy 1 put contract for strike of $115 for $90 premium , i would expect the max profit to be ($115-$90)*100= $8500, if it goes to zero, not $85000. No point in a nice app If the math is wrong.
