I would give it a negative star if possible. Horrible functionality. First of all, I can't log into the app with my Princess account - that works perfectly fine on the website. I was able to finally login using my booking number. I'm supposed to follow pre-boarding checklist and update data. But, I can't do half of the required stuff because it keeps redirecting me to log in when I'm already logged into the app. Too many redirects from app to website & each time, a login is required.

Why can't they get just (one) app for everything required to sail. Plain simple instructions, information needed, plan options, and details of what you get with prices. Options for dining and differences. Easy dinning booking for adding separate parties to your table. What is allowed to bring on board and what's not. Everything in one place easily accessible under your booking by calendar date. Where at a glance you can see everything you have booked under your booking. Would be nice.

There's no chat with your shipmates like the previous app, can only see where they are on the ship. Also me nor any of my travel companions can bookmark activities to a custom schedule, the function seems to be there but we are all getting errors when hitting the Bookmark or heart buttons on activities, which is the main thing we use the app for. Also multiple times now we have ordered drinks and food to our room, app says it is delivered but it doesn't show up for hours, if it even comes at all

There is no biometric log in setting which would be nice for security reasons. The new app has had some fixes since it first came out and it has improved some of the issues. The app is still very slow loading to open the app and moving from screen to screen. If we could fix and add these things it would even be that much better.

This app does not seem to really work. Alot of spinning. Trying to order my medallions for Cruise and I just keep getting error message , try again later. Can't seem to make dinner reservations. The old app seemed to work better. This could be a great experience for Cruise line guests, but as it is now it is just a frustrating cluster.

horrible user interface regret booking through this cruise line. the app won't let me update profile information after waiting on hold and then spending 30 minutes speaking to a live agent I was still unable to get the issue resolved. I am young and tech savvy. I work in an IT role. I don't know how anyone uses this app to actually do anything meaningful.

Horrible! Why is Princess requiring us to check in via this app on a phone? Seriously? The app errors out, and we can't check in properly and can not print our luggage tags. We are booked back to back and can not figure out how to switch to the other cruise either. Looks like my wife and I will be waiting in some lines because this app is poorly done. Please enable the option to check in via a computer!

Terrible! Tried to edit a dining reservation, partner was able to cancel on the app. Mine is stuck in the system and we can't adjust the time and rebook because of the overlap. Princess customer service don't have superuser access to cancel and cant do anything but raise the issue with technical services, who do nothing. A similar problem with an excursion was able to be resolved via PC but until staff have the access to overide the app this problem will continue.

New app is worse. I find it harder to navigate and it runs slower. Most of the information is still there but just feels more cumbersome to find. The daily activities were MUCH easier to scroll around before. I miss: seeing ship location/compass , messaging shipmates Making dinner reservations on the app is almost pointless now. Crown grille showed no available dining times but when we walk down there, we get right in and the manager seems very confused why the app showed nothing open

This app is a poor one. Shuts down immediately, and it doesn't provide a search capability. Too much guesswork involved.....it is not an upgrade, but simply a continuance of the previous . I have traveled with Princess several times. However, if this were my first time and I were exploring, I might pass simply due to the app frustration.

Worst app I've ever used! Installed a couple months ago and was using. Limited but useable. Got notification today of an upgrade. New app installed. Had to manually remove the other. Lame. Then could not log in to new app. Changes password. Was told it was successful but continued to get error message. Tried old password and got in only to get kicked back out and haven't been able to get in since. We're forced into using these apps for travel and they just suck!!!

It never works! I had myself and my mom all checked in for our upcoming cruise. I went in to double check everything and it said nothing was done. Frustrating but ok, I'll do it all over again. Went to start mine and said I cannot because I'm underaged (I haven't been underaged in decades). Had trouble booking excursions through the app, they would be in my cart but then the app said it couldn't access the cart. Can't order the medallions. A completely useless (mandatory) app.

Was unable to sign-on using my princess account and password, but I could using reservation id. Application has some useful information. However, it has one fault I can NEVER forgive. It collects a massive amount of personal information and uploads it to Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Adobe Verizon media, live ramp, pinterest and flash talking with no option to opt out.

Where to start...non-intuitive set up is clunky, painfully slow to load, logs you off multiple times of day for no reason. The dining reservation system requires you to check each restaurant individually rather than universal searches and makes you re-enter your party each time. Then it gives constant error messages and won't allow booking, even when there is availability. Push notifications are blocked, so even though there's a chat feature, it's useless you are constantly checking the app.

When swapping devices sometimes it looses your shipmates and can't add them back - it's a hit and miss issue. The app is missing two important items: a cruise itinerary and a list of booked shore excursions. The shorex list could be a problem if the Ocean DB behind the app does not connect to the Tours DB, but the itinerary should be easy enough to add. It is available in the onboard systems. I love the "locate" feature. It works great.

I downloaded the app and it would not recognize my booking # saying "Error: server issue". Now it says that the booking has been added, but the screen to add the cruise says there are no journeys added yet. Clearly there are more bugs to work out. Not confident about the new app. My husband and I have been on one cruise before with Princess and the app was pretty good (not perfect), but way better than this. At least the app worked before.

This app while "new and improved" is still absolute trash. It constantly crashes. Everytime i try and open it is is so slow, and barely loads. When it does, it cant find my voyages. I try to make dinner reservations, and add all the people, there are like 2 times available, and then i say book and it throws an error. If you try to do anything through the webpage they push you to the app. App this app that. Well fix it and maybe people would use it more.

Terrible app. Completed all my check-in requirements and showed I was green line. The website now shows my check-in is incomplete. Now, the app does not connect to my booking number. You can't complete your check-in online. You have to do it through the app. Also tried to place some package orders through the app and kept getting kicked out. Hope the cruise experience is better than the app.

Worst app ever I have ever used. Took multiple tries to get checklist completed. I had to log out/reinstall app a couple times each. Tried to order medallions-Nope. Once I try to complete order it just takes me back to previous page. And for some reason there's an extra medallion in my cart that it won't let me get rid of. Why have an app if it's such an inconvenience and does NOT help my cruise experience? Do better Princess!

So many bad experiences with the mobile app, before and during the trip. It's hard to understand how it could be this bad, from simple things like content missing such as menu, open/close times of on-board amenities and restaurants, to cruise schedules that show June 4th before June 3rd and leave out June 7th entirely...?????? Random session timeouts requiring re-login, issues re-logging in, trying to book reservations with traveling companions that show them 3x each. Just wow.
