The core gameplay is casual and challenging at the same time with 3 difficulty modes, but there are other game modes: minesweeper, progress defender( similar to tower defense) 3d mode, and progress DOS, (but very simplified from a real dos). There are no bugs (well except the intentionally put lady bugs that you catch and 'report') and the game has (dare I say it?) Almost too much content, overral I have never played a better game and (in my opinion) it's perfect.

Honestly one of the best mobile games I've played in awhile. Love the nostalgic graphics that resemble the Windows operating systems of old (I started with Win95 as a kid on my dad's computer), the SFX is crisp and fits the theme. Progression does feel stretched, however with the gameplay the way it is, I don't mind it. In fact, I find it cool to see each and every little thing upgrade as I play with psudo-real life counterparts of the certain era. Also Clippy is giving me nightmares. 10/10

This game is great, feels like such a passion project with so much personality. The ads are not very intrusive, I only feel like I get one or two here and there as I play. The gameplay is surprisingly varied, with a number of different games, unlockables, and fun bonus modes. Feels very authentic to actual older operating systems, which is very visually pleasing.

The game is actually refreshingly okay, for a mobile game with tpically horrid levels of overinjected advertisements. But then, I did have problems with not only the advertising, but the game itself as well. Advertising is injected between every level as one fifteen second unskippable fulscreen popup, and considering how fast I skimmed through several levels, that got very old, very fast. As for the gameplay, it's not afraid to put you into a no-win scenario, and for a hypercasual that isn't ok.

If you are looking for a fun, time killer that has a MAJOR nostalgia factor, this is for you, especially if you grew up in the late 90s, early 2000s. However, if you're looking for an exact replication of the windows operating systems, look elsewhere. It's not a 1:1 replication of the windows UI, but it's close enough that anyone who grew up with older computers will enjoy. 10/10 game.

This is such a cool app. I love the retro Windows theme, the minigames, and the unique wallpapers. The best part of the whole thing however, is that you don't NEED to use real money to fully enjoy the game. You CAN, but it's not necessary, and I appreciate that. Easy to learn, easy to play, but still fairly challenging, especially the minigames.

Progress bar was fun and the extra edition of having a cmd was neat! Didn't like how many ads occured every level. Also didn't realize the game was just a falling collection game where you drag a progress bar around collecting blue blocks. It wasn't very fun as ramp up in changes was pretty slow. Plus it looked like after awhile the ramp up to upgrading would take a considerable amount of time.

This game is about catching falling chunks of progress into the bar you move around by sliding you finger. Catch blues and teals to add progress, orange are wrong but not death, magenta subtract from the progress bar, and red "crash" your progress. It's exactly what it says it is though: a hyper casual, retro style, time waster and it's great!

This game is a blast to the past for x86 PC veterans and newcomers alike. So many hidden goodies behind what I thought at first was just a gimmicky game. I'm having so much fun exploring the different game modes, looking at the various OS look-alikes, unearthing the secrets of the DOS prompt, laughing at the various references and easter eggs, and everything else! If I could give this game 6 stars, I would!

It's fun, and unlike most mobile games it doesn't limit your playtime. But the controls have trouble sometimes. Oh and the graphics are intentionaly pretend to be bad. It's a much more enjoyable expirience than other cheap mobile games with their frequent adds an required in app purchases to win later levels. I recomend it for those who like making fun of old versions of windows and those who want a new genuine good game to play. It's a little creepy it says "We love you" once writing a review.

Growing up, we had no internet. So I would spend hours exploring all the tabs and system files for fun. Had the old Windows. Although the computer didn't sound like an aircraft engine, I'll never forget cycling through Clippy's in and out animations 😂 this game brings me back to my childhood. I simply love it. I was born in 97, so seeing the "software" is pretty great. The noises and simplistic objectives and gameplay make me nostalgic for a decade I didn't even grow up in.

But can it run Crysis? I'm kidding, but this game does bring to mind all the history PCs have gone through, evoking not just nostalgic OS vibes, but also the various interchangeable parts they've had over the years. While I'm still unsure what the progress bars are "loading", this game is worth playing on looks and sound alone. Hearing the ticking and beeping of an older PC takes me back to simpler times, nostalgic even for bad desktop helpers and incomprehensible popup windows.

I was expecting something basic that I would maybe play a few times, but I keep coming back! It's intuitive, and easy to pick up/set back down. The PC upgrades via points is nice, and I think it scales appropriately. I would change some things with ProgressDos. Mainly modifying the CD cmd to include the rest of its "normal" functionality: a) "CD . " to get back to the root folder b) "CD ../otherFolder" to avoid having to keep going back and forth... It gets monotonous after a while!

I expected a stupid mobile arcade game that i would try once and drop. It turned out to be a game with obstacles, mini games, attention to detail and, if you grew up with a PC, lots of nostalgia. Its the meta game that keeps me playing. As you play, you unlock new PC parts to upgrade your computer, and your desktop/menu may change as a result! When you reach the minimum system requirements, you can "install" the next OS. I want to see how the desktop changes as I reach modern PCs.

A very fun, nostalgic game. If you lived through the early days of windows and computer builds, you will love this trip down memory lane. Very creative look at early windows build and missteps. The new version has way too many ads, which makes the game almost unusable. Hence the 3 stars instead of 5.

its an amazing game but TOO MUCH ADS!! i have this on my computer and its amazing, the games fun, creative, and nostalgic at the same time! but ads literally just pop up out of no where, i didn't even begin the game when an ad popped up as soon as i clicked progressbar 95 plus, its really annoying... but it's a very fun game and i suggest buying it on steam if you don't want ads in your face 24/7.

Honestly, a fantastic game. Just started to play and well it fun and can be a good time killer. The mechanics are simple but greatly expanded on. Lots of content to keep you interested. A must have if your a casual player like me. I also like the old vintage style they go for. They actually do it quite nicely for a game. Sends you to a simpler time. A nice game overall.

I have enjoyed this game for quite some time, and the regular new additions are always fun and interesting. That being said, the new TRS... I mean TPS emulator has a keyboard meant to replicate the original Tandy -but it is missing a number of vital characters! It's impossible to code BASIC without a colon/semicolon button! This, of all the various unique issues of this game, may be the most annoying. Either give me my phone keyboard, or put normal characters on your simulated one.

very fun game. i think that lost data should stay on the games database permanently. its a really fun addition to the game. i think that there should be "instructions" or a tutorial or something to show us how to play/use it. i think i understand the gist of it but i don't think i got it down just yet. other than that i have no other complaints m 10/10 game in my opinion. one more thing, i don't understand how to favorite pages on progress browser. thats all :3

I'm surprised by how amazing this game is, despite how slow it can be, it brims with charm. With all the little details scattered everywhere, even in the settings page, makes doing anything potentially rewarding and fun. The fairly consistent updates seem to be adding nice additional content which absolutely keeps the longevity of this game up. 100% going to keep up the "grind", and enjoy every moment of it. :)
