so far, so good. easy, user friendly. I'm looking to build credit, and this worked well. paid everything, now low payment with no early prepayment penalty. it will be paid off way early.

Unbelievable! Prosper made it so easy for me to get a personal loan I used my cell phone to apply took me less than 30 minutes and the next day I got an email saying I was approved! The following day the money was in my checking account! All within 72 hrs! Those writing negative reviews the bottom line is they have bad credit or their income is not sufficient, I highly recommend Prosper! Don't believe the negative reviews!

App needs work. I repeatedly get a redirected website with a return of http 429. Linking banking info stuck in loop. App fails with error to try again. Bank emails confirmation of third-party sharing with App. Who asks for login info of bank. It should be accessed by acct. and routing number. Go to OneMain for loan.

I've Been with this company since 2018. I asked for a simple 1 month payment deferment, here 5 years later and they denied me. Never missed a payment or been late.. they said if I needed longer I'd have to pay the late fee after 15 days. And be turned in to credit bureaus. Ridiculous.. I've looked around and most loan places still offer payment deferment even after 3 months of on time payments. I'll be going else where after this if I need another loan.

Terrible personal loan company. Very dishonest and very unprofessional. They also front load interest. If you get a loan from them you WILL pay it off slower than other loan companies. No matter how much you make and minimum payments are extra payments they structure it out so that you pay all the interest that you would have paid over the life of the loan first out of every payment. I.e. You pay all the interest in advance before it even has time to accrue. Do not ever get a loan here.

they don't report your payments in a timely manner on the credit report. they went 4 months without reporting. so I filed a dispute with Trans union at that point they decided to do their job. they also decided to remove my fixed rate in retaliation to my dispute. so now my loan seems to collect interest on a daily basis even tho our contract says it's a fixed rate take your business to one main or up start. I have used those guys with 0 issues in the past.

prosper is a good company if you need alone with fair credit... process was quick and easy to understand... application was simple and quick ..from the time I applied it took about three days total from application to funding.. no problems making extra payments...so far so good with no issues

Zero Stars. I applied for a Personal loan with great credit and they canceled the application and suspended my account. The Reason they gave was they couldn't verify some information? ok tell me what you need verified and let's continue?? Why was it denied. This rating stays until someone can reach out and make things right. I have talked to a few people at prosper who were very kind but their overall system is very bad.

should have included an autopay enable/disable via the app. It is extremely anouying to have to call to cancel auto pay. Other than that the app is ok. little basic in features but it tells me the important stuff i guess.

This system is rudimentary and harsh. No practical way to make a payment and it not be taken out Randomly a few days later. This feature has cost me $100's of dollars in overdraft fees with my bank and undeniable stress. It was an easy approval, mediocre APR (with a 700 credit score and years of history) and a user interface that leaves a lot to be desired and ill equiped to help the customer. Hassling calls with very cut throat questions (on a recorded line)

A great app. I have been using it to keep up with my loan payments. It even shows me how much money I paid went towards the interest fees and how much went towards the actual loan principal. Great app and may even get another loan in the future.

Very expensive. No chance on reducing intrest rate once approved and you accept. Not a big deal though. Doesn't do much for raising your credit score if at all, I didn't notice but consolidation of credit cards debt into 1 did improve it a lot.. I am grateful I was approved for a $8k loan. 3 stars, out of 5. poor customer service.
