Can I just download this apk by myself? Google Play on my cellphone is not woking because it's blocked. So first, I need to install a proxy apk to let my cellphone be able to get access to google. Yet, I can't download it directly... It's a deadlock..

The background tunnel is broken after some time. But notification is still showing as connected.

I thought I could use this along with httpcanary? but httpcanary isn't capturing any requests. basically I want to use a vpn to unblock the app as well as capture the requests and responses... can I get any help in this?

The global proxy option didn't work but the individual app proxy worked well! Could be be os specific issue? Happy to share more details if required.

App worked quite good but from one day to the next it became completely unusable for me. Proxy did not work anymore while the proxy worked great on my pc. I did not update my phone, root was still working, so no idea what happened. Sad that this app is not updated for the newer phones.

Works perfectly! Remember you need a rooted device for this app to work. If you never heard the word 'root', don't bother to install it. I use it to set proxy for certain apps. My service provider knowingly throttle my connection for some sites so this app is a godsent for me. Thanks a lot dev!

My VPN routes itself through a proxy server first, and this app allows me to essentially put certain apps through the VPN while keeping others on my normal connection. It is absolutely perfect for what I needed it to do. Also the fact that it's licensed under the free (as in freedom) GPL means it's even better. When privacy and security are a concern, restrictive, proprietary software just won't cut it for me. Mad props to the developer of this app for creating something so incredibly useful.
