It never shows jobs just show that they are available. I'm assuming it based more for l iPhone and not an android . I have an s20 fairly new phone. It always texts me their available jobs. I click on it as soon as the notification is sent, and it will never show me the job offer. It takes most time 3 times to open the app for it to load. Been on this app for 3 month with numerous offers only to be able to accept 2. I'm assuming I received those 2 because no one wanted them. Wegolook is on it

I've tried a plethora of different apps that provide opportunities to earn money and ProxyPics is amongst the leaders of greatness in the vast realm of choices when it comes to this category. The app is both aesthetically pleasing and well structured. It's easy to navigate, responsive, very active and I've had the app for awhile and have not had a single issue. They didn't stop there....... They actually have exceptional customer service as well! It's pretty rare to get both and so I say KUDOS!

I do enjoy these jobs and love the app! However, I won't be accepting anymore assignments that reference coordinates only, it seldom works out! Always ask for a physical address before accepting assignment. They usually have one even though initially the longitude and latitude are only entered. As for the updates, I get messages indicating an update, so I select the "Take Me There" option but the app just shows Uninstall or Open. Select open and it will come back with the Update option.

Updated 1/20 - Great response and updates. My 'gripe' of proximity search was released (doubt my review had anything to do w it just coincidental) and app looks and works amazingly well. Kudos to the dev team and folks involved. ; Interesting service but apparently poor app design and detail. As I understand it is supposed to use your phone location to offer orders in your area. However there are no settings to specify, orders that do appear are coast to coast with nothing even in my state let alone within my proximate driving distance. Good concept but needs work. Reminds me of something that was rushed to market before being adequately tested in house and or without live testers. It looks like they are addressing issues so hopefully it will come together as a more accurate, market ready app.

I finally had the opportunity to accept an order and utilize the app from A to Z, and it worked great! I've had to pass on several assignments because I'm still too far away from most assignments to actually make money rather than lose money. Lately I've decided to start taking a loss on any assignment just so I can help generate more demand in my area. Unfortunately, the last two assignment went unanswered because the app doesn't seem to be responding when I get the notification. Blank screen!

Another update. One star.I tried to do a job, wasted a lot of time trying to get their app to work. I get text asking if I can finish the job. I said the app crashes, I sent them the one pic I got which was the only view available. Then another text, same thing. Then an email sending me examples of what views they want, because their app doesn't work. Then an email saying to give permission to media. I did, Then I was blocked. Should have asked for the permission on set up. No support otherwise

What else is there to say? This may be the worst app ever released. The entire business model is based on taking pictures in the app and uploading them. Yet, the garbage app can't even execute that function without upload errors, pictures you take sometimes dont save, which means retaking pictures and hoping they actually save within the app. But even if you get lucky and they save, good luck having them upload without any errors. I've had to email & Dropbox them to support every time. Absurd.

I tried it & its more frustration than it's worth. Even (especially) when you have a problem or an error & you try to "Contact Us" or "Chat With Us" the app freezes. I've sent MULTIPLE error logs & its still not fixed so I can't even explain what's happening. This seemed like a fun thing to do & I did assignment & was paid immediately & yes, I enjoyed it but I don't need the money, certainly not enough to deal with the added frustration.

The app is well-designed and super user-friendly. I almost never have a problem with the functionality of the app, even in remote areas. For those who experience multiple app crashes, try clearing your cache. I find that clearing my cache before going on a photo job greatly reduces app-crash syndrome. As far as customer support, they are fantastic. They really do have answers for all my questions and have included a FAQ section on the app. They also respond in a very timely manner.

There are a lot of crashes with the app. Customer service is always quick to respond which is good. The app itself is very user friendly minus the crash issues. I wish the app would continually update my location automatically so when I travel around to a new area I'd be able to receive orders. Another thing to consider is providing vetted photographers with an official credential to show homeowners when you're arriving. It would put people at ease a bit more when a stranger shows up.

★★★☆☆ Very well paying for the amount of time each gig takes. There's hardly any gigs near by, like ever... I change my location to cover a 90 mile radius of where I live and I can only ever find 1 or 2 every couple weeks and that's all. It's super fun to use and they do pay well, there just isn't nearly enough work to do to make it really worth using in the first place.

The app when I initially downloaded it was great, made a couple extra bucks for a few pictures. Lately, I accept several jobs, drive to the location and can't upload the pictures! It's so frustrating. I attempted to contact them but that had errors as well! Such a disappointment, I loved doing it especially when it was in my area. I hope they can fix the bugs quickly! I've missed out on several jobs cause I can't upload the pictures!

Love the company. Hate the app. All photos are cached and uploaded as you go, which is good where you have good cell service. Otherwise, if you are in an area with a bad connection, it could cause serious delays in the app performance and completion of the job. There needs to be a way to upload at the end of the job when you return to a good coverage area. Some of us live in the boonies.

I really enjoy this app, when it's working correctly. I've had 3 assignments and 1 training. And not a single one has allowed me to take my picture and upload 100% It'll take the picture and instead of popping up a window asking to upload, it'll restart the app and I've got to try again. I've reached out to support and I've reinstalled the app with no changes. Being able to upload from my own storage would be a lot better. Other than that little inconvenience I love this app so far.

(My actual name: Steve Smith). I've completed two assignments so far. The lower-paying one only needed a single photo of the front of a house. The higher-paying one required me to make contact with the owner for access to the inside of a house, and also needed photos of every room plus some specific items (water heater, electrical box, etc.). None of it was difficult, and I actually found it kind of fun, as it is very different from other kinds of work I've done. As I was new to this, on both assignments I made a couple of mistakes using the app. In both instances I reached out to ProxyPics HQ and someone got back to me right away and resolved the problem. Both of the people who helped me were very friendly and encouraging. The app is pretty clever, btw, and works great now that I know how to use it. My only complaint is that there simply aren't enough assignments. I live in a relatively dense area, and I only see maybe three assignment offers in a week. I would love to be able to get at least that many per day, preferably some of the higher-paying ones -- even better if they were "clustered" within a short distance of one another. I do hope that ProyPics grows its client base so that something like this may be achievable one day, though I don't know if that is realistic. That said, I still give 5 stars, for 1) app design and functionality, 2) responsiveness of ProxyPics staff, 3) ease of completing assignments, and 4) not mentioned above: quick approval and payment.

ProxyPics is a great way to learn more about my city! I've never seen some of the areas where the jobs are. The app is pretty intuitive but can sometimes get stuck when uploading pictures. Customer service is always helpful and patient, as I haven't done this type of work before. They tend to respond within a few minutes to my questions and always allow more time to submit the project if needed. Overall, I truly enjoy each job I am able to catch. Looking forward to more offers!

Super glitchy. I don't do very many jobs through this app because there aren't many in my area. It takes forever to complete jobs because the app will crash while I'm trying to upload photos. Support is nonexistent when I try to reach out for help. I have to uninstall the app and then reinstall and then it MIGHT work. When the app works, it's great, the jobs are easy and pays fast. I wish there was an option to upload photos directly from the phone instead of taking photos through the app.

I'm quite impressed with this app and it's performance. Whoever designed this app did a candid job. If you're ever in a dead zone or experiencing an almost dead battery while in an assignment, the app will kick you out while submitting a photo, I think this is because of the geolocation not able to be identified. To fix this you can restart your phone, your submitted photos will be still be there and it for me has fixed the issue.

I was so excited to try this app! As a seasoned freelancer, I'm always seeking new opportunities. Unfortunately, despite a lengthy registration process, I haven't completed a single job. It seems notifications aren't sent consistently, and by the time I click, the jobs are gone. It's incredibly disappointing, but I'm determined to give this another chance.

The best app I've used working as an independent contractor. This app is the most organized and easier to use than others I've used for flexible jobs. My only vons or suggested updates are 1. be specific on how many expected items are onsite and which ones they want photos of (I've encountered issues submitting a job, and it stated that something was missing but didn't specify although all photos had been taken) 2. An option to delete photos, not just replace them 3. Add comment space
