The homepage only shows groups for food, e.g., deli, deli meat, deli cheese, cakes, etc. But nothing for household items or other food items. But you can search 'paper plates' for example and it comes up. Secondary issue, nothing has prices. So if you are trying to compare prices, you have to google it. Which btw, Target, Walmart and Amazon come up first, you have to scroll down to view the product, but still no price. Not good for competitive marketing.

The app is clean however it has several flaws. Trying to order a sub runs into the issue of showing old sub sales just happen to click on the right sub. Even at the end of ordering it, the total doesn't actually take the sale into consideration. Edit: After looking further into it, clipped coupons will take affect at the register once your number is inputted, same as Smith's and Kroger. That's on me.

Useless app for me. I downloaded it to make my shopping experience faster. My thought was to use the app to find the aisle that each product was on. Well, you won't be getting that with this app. I found no useful information to help me find the products. The problem I have is that some products aren't in the area you would assume they would be in. No a useful app for me. Deleting it now.

APP IS SUBSTANDARD FOR PUBLIX The stores are great, everybody is great ... the app is dreadfully slow -- cumbersome because of it. Navigating the app in particular sections, not all items give the price. The app would be improved if we could tally a total as we fill our carts. It would be improved if I could enter an item and know where that type of item lives. Often, items are placed counterintuitively and in various places. The app needs to be customized for each location.

Hello and best wishes. I'm just checking to see if y'all are still working on fixes to the Publix app. Don't see any improvements. Still incredibly slow to refresh & frequently crashes …................ Freezes (asking to wait, restart or close) multiple times each session). Also takes forever to refresh after adding/checking off items from the list. Been using the app using a couple devices over past two plus years. Like the idea and put up with it but by far most frustrating app I use.

For the most part, it works great. The best part is that you can do a grocery list, which is easily accessible and lets you know Aisle you can find product. Go to a Publix, other than your neighborhood store, no problem, just switch the location to the store you are in. I gave app 4 stars reason: when shopping, the app jumps to pay, which is another great feature. Problem: get to register pay, keeps spinning and have to pay the old-fashioned way, and dig out my wallet.

The new app stopped working completely. I un-installed and downloaded again, and when I tried to log in, access was denied. It won't even let me put my login credentials. I tried using the website, and it goes to a static landing page. This shouldn't have been launched without testing the app first. I expect more from Publix.

The app is great once you get into it, but for some reason, it takes like 2-3 minutes for the app to open for me. That can be annoying if im in a rush. This is regardless of my wifi/signal strength, and the app is properly updated. If that gets fixed, then i will gladly edit my review to 5 stars. Besides that, the app is fantastic.

App is very helpful but recently I keep getting an annoying pop-up whenever I open my grocery list that says Sale items not confirmed. It refers to previous store's weekly ad. I haven't ever changed the store selection. Deleting and reinstalling the app did not correct it. Thanks for the quick response and looks like the issue has been resolved.

Navigating this app has become ridiculous. If you are trying to make out a shopping list you can't just click on and make a list anymore. I get certain sale items listed but it's become impossible to just make a simple list. The search box is also useless. The only things you can search are specific items and you better know exactly what you want instead of browsing through the items. You are better off just using a pencil and paper to make a grocery list.

I don't know about past versions of this app, but today's version is actually one of my favorite apps! It's so helpful that I can enter which location I'm shopping, and the app will guide me aisle by aisle to find everything on my list! I love that you can see all the BOGO'S & specials all in one place, access digital coupons, and save them to your "phone #" so they apply automatically at checkout. This app has truly elevated my Publix shopping experience, which was already pretty great. 👍

The app is great..most the time. I just had to uninstall and reinstall it because items on sale would remain on sale even when their sale ended and the new ones started. For a 2 months straight it showed the chicken tender sub and the ultimate sub on sale along with the current weeks sub. Every single day. Even updating the app would not fix it. Managers at my local store could not figure out why it was doing it. They still honored the discounts shown but my app was just broken.

Buggy app made by amateurs. Every single week, you will have to wipe the storage of the (no not just the cache, the storage so you have to login, do configurations, etc all over again). If you don't, the app shows incorrect sale item prices, never being updated even for a month or more. It also will fail to load any reorder or favorites. Simply pitiful, Publix needs to really look at their team for this and do some QA. Performs poorly, too. But that appears to be mostly because of the backend.

The app seems intentionally designed so that one confuses it for the actual app for shopping online at Publix. This app itself doesn't let you do any sort of shopping from it- It just delivers you deals and coupons to use either in-store or online. Worst of all- Actually reaching the button to redirect you to the *real* shopping app, in order to do that from THIS app, it will literally block the entire screen, repeatedly, without any option to deny it, pestering you for location access.

Update: the problems with the app have been fixed and it is now working as it should. Until a few weeks ago this was a great app. Now since an update this app is frustrating and almost useless. I always put sale items in my list from the weekly ad and the sale prices would be on the list beside the item. The same for sale prices from extra savings. There are no longer sale prices on the list which makes it very frustrating when trying to shop.

Edit: Most issues in my original review have been addressed, but the app is experiencing another minor, but still frustrating issue. I've noticed that the weekly sub that's on sale isn't indicated when you check the catalogue, so I have to look at each item individually to determine which is actually on sale. I've found myself having to Google the answer to save myself time, and that defeats the purpose of the app.

This App is TOTALLY USELESS! Do not waste your time. No one at Publix seems to care. The Search function is ridiculous. One example is that Glade Plug-ins is on sale this week. Well, put Glade Plug-ins in the search bar, and 2 results appear. Neither one is Glade!! The same thing happened with Wishbone, Air Wick, and the list goes on and on. Now, try changing an items location. Click on "change location" and a blank screen pops up. Would you like Nutrion Information? You have to use the website!

Love the "in store shopping" part of the app.!! Being able to delete expired items off your list is great. Now that I have figured out how to swipe (delete) coupons off my grocery list that I no longer want and it's made things a lot easier for me. 🔥❓️🔥 I would like to know if it is Publix or Instacart that makes you pay more for the merchandise if you're getting a pick-up or delivery!?! 🤔🤗👍

The app works well. I like the scan to pay. It always works. I wish there was a little more convenient access to nutritional information when looking through the sale items and such, maybe a label in addition to the picture of the product. I need to review the sodium content and it would be helpful. Also, I wish there was a way to get cash back when using the scan to pay option. Minor requests for an otherwise great app.

Recently items that are marked as favorites get a "sorry something went wrong" error when attempting to add to shopping list. When searching for same item, it no longer appears as available item, no matter which store location I choose, even though item is still carried in store. This was mildly annoying for one or two items but now it's eight or ten items, it's ridiculous. Even Publix brand items on my favorite list can no longer be added to my shopping list! Makes the features rather pointless
