Wish I could upload my own pictures to the cards... not a lot of selection, partially why I canceled, but for long distance/last min it's very convenient, especially since you can add gift cards. So it's a great concept and can be a life savor, but it is a bit expensive, a plus is I was able to make it, pay for the gift cards and send instantly with no issues, so they're honest and thankfully it's not a scam! Great idea just needs to be a little cheaper and have more of a selection! 💌 👍😉❣

Editing cards using the app is not good. When trying to edit text, I press enter in the middle of a line and all the sudden text is randomly moved around. Press enter at the end and my cursor suddenly goes to the top. Can't change the envelope like you can with website. Can't zoom out photos like the website. And don't like the business model, they didn't send a alert before the trial period ended, just the bill (tho my fault for forgetting) and you cancel, you are stuck with a year

Plan and simple--the app is useless to me because every time o try to input a guest's email or phone number, not only does my keyboard freeze up but the app freezes up all the buttons on my phone. So annoying! I've tried uninstalling and re-installing, turning off other apps while running it, and restarting my phone--the app still doesnt work. Great concept, but glitchy app as of now, that is useless.

First of all, I really like this app. Its brilliant, beautifully designed cards with wonderful features- especially the potluck feature! But sending out invites is a pain. it takes a long time to load the contacts, forget typing in a new one. And then once you are finally able to select them it doesn't always load, this last party took me at least 4x to send. Also I don't want to choose between text AND email, both is better. And this last party so many people couldn't open the link!

Great app, used for multiple parties. Makes sending invites and tracking RSVPs easy. The potluck feature is nice too for cookouts. A lot of good features in the free version. A bit buggy though. Devs should fix the sign in with Google option, as it does not work. The app also signs you put whenever you close the app, requiring you to sign back in. Also, when you change a guest's name, you have to exit the app and come back for the change to reflect. Overall decent app though. I recommend.

It's mostly a nice app. The Google login doesn't work for me for some reason, but I can still login via password. The interfaces and the flow are all really nice. I guess I have to compare it to using Facebook events. Personally, I'd much rather plan events using a paid service than a free one. That way, I'm the customer, rather than an advertiser. With Facebook, the advertiser is the customer. With punchbowl, it's my choice whether to pay.

Awesome designs.. Almost anything you've chosen as a theme for any occasion, it's perfect! The method of sending is great! Very nice animation of opening invite. The set up, customization etc is perfect. My only peeve is that in different platforms is a different format options and execution differences. e.g. I have used this app in Android, iOS apple app, and PC desktop website, and they are all slightly different with different options of formatting in easier ways like grouping families, etc.

Love the service but this is a horrible app! It constantly tells me error signing in, check back later. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it and at first, that seemed to work but only for the one instance and then it does it again! Now it's to the point that no matter how many times I try, no go. I cannot access a service that I actually paid for. It's better to use your browser. Don't bother with the app.

Does not work most of the time. It will work for an hour, and then will sign you out of your account. Then, when you try to sign back in, it will give you errors to the point where the only way for you to check on invites or RSVPs is to use the desktop version or uninstall and reinstall the app. This comes after the fact their last update is supposed to fix the sign in issues. Very inconvenient! That being said, when the app works, it works as expected.

The only down side I've found with the app is how it sends out the invites. You're type in your friends/family/whoever else you invite's contact information and the app will sends the invitations (via link). This is great except I've had a few friends who were hesitatant to open the link because it doesn't send from my number and it looks a little bit like a scam. It would be easier if you could just copy and send the link. That aside, the app has been extremely helpful.

Mostly easy to use. Good for initially creating family groups. but after creating an individual, hard to find where to do the connection. Recently, they made a change that to get a free design, you need to go through the design process and then find out if it's free or not. Very cumbersome. Great tool for potlucks. Very flexible.

Good app but it would be way better if I didn't have to log in ten times a day. The notes say the Google log in issue was fixed but now it seems to have become a general log in issue. I kept getting kicked out using Google to log in then having trouble logging back in, so I made an password and all and that didn't fix the issue. It's very irritating. I just logged in, checked something, closed the app, immediately reopened and I was logged put AGAIN.

Has a lot of card options, BUT I have to uninstall and reinstall the app every time I want to log into into my account! The log in with Google button doesn't work! Super frustrating! Also wasnt able to upload a guest list, even after creating a csv. file as directed. I had to manually enter each and every guest and their phone number! Not worth the money at this point!

The app in itself is great. Easy to set up and send invites, receive RSVP's. Only complaint I have is that even though notifications were set to "no email" notifications, 2 days before the SURPRISE party, a reminder email came in. We both have access to the email address that was used, which is why I selected no emails. He read the email before I had a chance to move it. Now the surprise aspect has been ruined. I'm a little bummed to tell the truth. Do away with reminder emails.

I install the app and start using it right away, which is great. But then when I do something else and go to get back into the app, I'm signed out and tells me there's a problem signing in. There's a problem if I use my email and password and if I try to sign in with Google. If I uninstall and reinstall it, it's all good. But as soon as I get out and try to get back in, same issue. I'm paying for this app, so it better work!

I love using this app. It makes my life so much easier. But I absolutely HATE that it asks me to rate the app... literally every single time a card is sent. There's no opt out option. Just rate or ask later. And when you click rate, it takes you to an unknown URL 404 error. So here's your rating you want so bad. Also, add in a search option to filter cards by recipient (brother, sister, friend, ect.)

Says the Google sign in issue was fixed... But it's not. Can't use Google or my email address to log in, need to reinstall just to check my RSVPs *Update: was told to use the computer app instead of the phone app, was able to log in but couldn't send announcements to my guests. Told them all of this and they just reset my password.. which wasn't an issue. This app isn't worth the hassle and it's a bummer because it used to be really cool

I love the flower invite that I selected. The rest of the invitation process was a nightmare. First after working with the many choices of fonts (a good thing) the final edit and the preview DID NOT MATCH! This was especially important since we were honoring a friend that had just died. Her name was on the final edit, along with the correct spacing and page layout. Then on the Preview - her NAME was NOT on the invite!!! EEEEK!!! Then it took hours to fix it. Hopefully it stayed corrected!

The app will not link to the punchbowl invites that I received via text, and it wouldn't delete my account when I asked. I've tried several different ways of connecting the invites to my account, but no luck. The app looks useful for sending out invites, but useless for receiving them if you get them before you make an account. Edit: there's no way that I can attach a phone number to my account, I don't even have that option in the app!

Mixed review. When first experiencing the Punchbowl app, I was excited to try it supposedly being free. Not so much. With the event that we were hosting, we were at a crossroads, ditch the idea, or pay for membership. We went the latter route, and at the lowest level for one year. Though we find it very objectionable to be lured in, we have since enjoyed utilizing our membership to send special cards or invites, with ads, and not using the "extra" cards for extra costs.
