loosing faith in this app. is constantly disconnected from my bank, and currently won't let me reconnect. how is a person supposed to save? update: 7/1/19 it's spending more time connected to my bank, but still glitchy with it. sometimes i set new rules, and it's like a month before you start seeing it actually make the savings. it's getting there though.

I've really loved this app for years, I've saved so much with it. Not being able to withdraw the amount that is shown in my goals or spending account is VERY annoying. At least give us the option to schedule a withdrawal when the amount is settled rather than having to check every day and see that - somehow - there is less settled today than yesterday.

Its easy to save money for trips. Update: I had an issued that I had to contact the support team for help with. They corrected the issue quickly. Not sure if that is because they see this issue so often that already know what to do, or they are very knowledgeable of their product. But they very insistent on giving them a review which is slightly annoying.

Loved this app so much because it is very user-friendly and makes it so easy to save money. However, I'm bummed they will be charging a monthly membership fee now. The app is great for saving, but doesn't provide the elaborate features many other saving apps do (credit score trackers, investing) which are cheaper or free, so I will probably switch saving apps for that reason.

I am in love with this app! Having bank accounts and this as a savings account has helped me save and manage my balances better! It has fun incentives to get you saving and some of the challenges are things I spend on a daily day to day. I can transfer and get a spending card if I wanted to transfer to pay for something. I don't have to worry about the whole application process just input my account info and start saving!!

BEWARE!!! Membership fee is a $60 surprise (no warning) months after you sign up. I guess they wait until you aren't paying attention any longer. The app is very hard to maneuver. It takes clicking every section and menu to find what you are looking for. Even the help section keeps bringing up the option of "never mind" when searching for your answer. It is so frustrating I suppose they hope you will give up. Activity and pending transfers in Qapital app don't match your bank account

Super disappointed. I got Qapital a while ago, back when I had an iPhone. I really loved it. I saved a bunch of money with it, which I had never done before. Then they created the membership model. They grandfathered me in to the highest tier, so that was fine. Now they want to charge me for it, admittedly at a discount. I could have the lowest tier for free supposedly, but how long until that changes as well? I feel like one day I'll wake up and see an email telling me it's time to pay up. :(

Savings has been such a problem for me because I always assume I will need the money I save for principle bills, so I never put it away. Qapital lets me set and forget, saves my money without me noticing, and that has helped me so much in handling debt. I've never been so consistent in paying more than my monthly due on my credit cards, and have never left so much money alone for such a long time without spending it. It helps me save money for vacations, and stops itself from pulling money when I run low. I recommend it to anyone trying to save who's bad at it, like me.

I'm keep it short and sweet, you should get this app if you're trying to save money. I've saved thousands of dollars without much effort! Edit: Now they want to take money out of my bank account to continue using their bank. No thank you, it's funny because they were about to change me automatically without me agreeing to anything which is ridiculous. That sounds illegal to me. They are also closing my spending account and canceling my debit card that I've had for over a year unless I pay them.

I LOVE this app! The only two problems I have with it are: 1. It doesn't take the money right then, and it doesn't take money out over the weekends. So if you have a round up rule, it will build up over time. 2. It can't differentiate my check from my husband's check. I am not the main income so I can save more from my check, but there is no way to set it to withdraw every time my checks are deposited. It will withdraw from both checks.

Update- App has been running much much better.I Love this App, but it has crashed, and their customer service has Vanished. My funds have been transferred out, waiting to post. Will update to 5 Stars if App is ever up and running again. Heartbroken, saved a good chunk within weeks... Update- it does disconnect at times, but I get up and running quickly. It still crashes but I still love app.

I've had this app for years and successfully saved money for vacations. But I just got an email they are moving to a "membership model" and now i'll be charged $8 a month. This is with a 33% "discount" for being a long time customer. That is just ridiculous. I went into the app and paused my rules, and began moving forward to deactivate my account and saw I was charged $3 when I turned off my round up rule, I'm being charged to stop using them?? I hope this is a misunderstanding, I contacted support and hope to hear from them soon. I'm very upset, I've always recommended and talked highly of Qapital to all my friends- but this move is not good. This app worked for years without this membership stuff, why change now? I'll be withdrawing my money and deactivating my account as soon as I can. I'm sad to go, but I can't support this change.

At first I really liked this app. I love the goals and all the small ways you can save such as roundups, rules, etc. HOWEVER, I absolutely hate that the app CONSTANTLY disconnects from my bank once a week or more. It always reconnects fine, but I have to manually go in and reconnect it and bc of this I never know when the money will be transferred from my bank plus its a pain. All support said was "reconnect your bank" but I'm already doing that. The issue is that it wont stay connected.

Was great while it lasted but I can't accept the new "membership fee" model. The reason Qaptial won me over in the first place was the exceptional customization of savings goals, without the traditional banking model fees. I don't need the bloat features if it comes with a price tag. Will be closing down my account for good once my final transfers finish. Telling someone their membership fees are waived for life due to early adoption, then a year later rescinding that offer is unacceptable. 😑

I love this app but the support is COMPLETELY hard to get in touch with...you have to email them or call but when you call it takes hours for them to call back, you can never get someone right away like a normal call center would be ready to take a call. Thankfully the fraud dept they hire out (vendor), is WAY better customer service than they have... but if you have a problem with your card other than fraud..good luck...I wish there was a zero star option.

When app works its awesome. I save without knowing I'm saving with this app and I never even miss the money!! Then when I need down payment or something I have it, just transfer to my bank. Only issue I have is that my bank disconnects to often. And in the past month hasn't been connected at all. Its a constant chore to try and keep it connected. The app cannot maneuver the banks security measures. I wouldn't call that "effortless"

Everything was going good until today. Had about $1018 scheduled to transfer to my goal but woke up today with it saying my account was closing and to withdraw whenever. Not sure why it's randomly closing. Customer reached out immediately and let me know it was an error. Appreciate prompt response and it really is a great app.

I absolutely love this bank. I've been using them since 2017 and I've never had a single problem.The app design is very thought through. Cleanly designed to make everything easy. Just set auto transfers for every bill. Then when you're ready, transfer it from that specify goal to the spending card. Having the ability to set up goals alivieates the security issue of standard banks. I keep under a small amount on the debit card so if it gets stolen, the theif can't drain the entire savin account.

I love this app so much I had to remove my old review because I couldn't edit it-exceeded the 500 char limit. I've been using this app since 2017. Qapital has continually added new features. I've had to contact support exactly once in 7 years and that experience was resolved quickly. It just works. I'm grandfathered in to the premiere plan at no cost (or pay what you want) and I happily pay the $12 it would cost. 500 chars isn't enough room to describe how happy I am with their service.

Update: Not a question, that hasn't been true at all and I've been using the app for a long time. Previous review: One should be able to pause saving rules until one chooses to resume them, not just for 7 days. They also say it takes about 2 business days to transfer money from your bank to the app, however it actually takes like a week, no matter when you decide to transfer. It's difficult to manage your money when you're waiting for them to transfer it for that long.
