Quizlet is a great and useful app. 🔶 However there is one important missing feature: it would be great to track wrong answered terms not only in the tests but in the set itself. Saying so, there might be a seperate section (just like 'learn', 'test' and more) containing ferequently missed terms. Or it can be a simple sorting feature in set cards itself just like 'Original order' and 'Alphabetical'.

9 years ago I rated this app 5 stars. It went up hill for a couple of years and then downhill from there. It used to be free to study individually and only if you wanted special features you would have to pay, now it's a subscription base. It used to have a very simple Learn section where you just click whether or not you know something. Now it forces you to type out answers. All the text became significantly smaller on everything. Idk, it just went downhill across every aspect. Sad really.

I attribute my successful grades to Quizlet. I've been using it since 2019 and am now in some difficult medical classes. All the things that have been added from then until now have only improved its usefulness, my favorite being the ability to take mock exams. I've happily purchased a year's subscription to unlock all the features because it's worth it. Thanks for making the perfect study tool, devs! Can't wait to see what else you add. :)

Bugs to the left, glitches to the right and you're stuck in the middle. I tried to use Quizlet to listen to the flashcards, but every time I do, it plays the term and won't play the definition. I've found it completely useless to me because I might as well just use the books and save some frustration. Quizlet used to be great, but this bug is extremely annoying.

The class section needs a little help. I can add and delete folders from the class section, but as soon as I add a set into the class, I cannot remove it from that class. I also can't remove sets I've added from other people. I don't want to see it anymore but can't get rid of it. I have a lot going on with many different classes and can't seem to get anything organized. I'm also paying for plus. Seems buggy. Wish organizing was a little easier and worked better. Disappointed in my purchase.

Since using this app, my grades have improved significantly. This has been the most helpful study tool for me, especially when studying alone. Minor glitches when trying to upload some files or AI sometimes stating some answers to be incorrect when they aren't, but I usually double my notes when I'm doubt. Overall, I'm pleased with the outcomes.

I've been studying online certificates outside of a classroom environment where all they do is give you the information and you're just supposed to memorize that without fully understanding and being taught it. I originally downloaded this to keep notes on a flash card I can challenge myself to later. but the way this app actually works is they take that information and can help not only teach it to you more in depth, but quiz you on it in ways that play with the wording so it isn't just 1 for 1

App is very buggy from the short time I've used it. I'm intermittently getting error messages saying I'm not allowed to access a set of cards from a class I've been allowed access to, as well as having answers and images show up on the wrong cards on top of the actual answers for those cards. The UI is also not great. It would be nice to be able to pin folders that I'm currently working on from the home screen so I don't have to go through the maze of folders in my class every time

I never use flash cards because they're boring so I was pretty sure I wouldn't use this app, but I find myself willing to do the "learn" activities and quizzes which have been good since repetition really does help. I'm using it for Spanish classes so it will also help with autofilling translations and will read the word aloud in proper pronunciation which is also great.

honestly using quizlet and buying plus was the best decision I ever made for my grades. A lot of times I don't even have to make them myself because there are already great quizlets already available. I'm in college and this has helped me pass so many classes. It's easy to use, there's practice tests and even a game to play to help you learn. Definitely worth the money to have all the functions but the free version is very useful too!!

Distracting ads...trying to study and too many flashing, blinking, moving ads (one was just permanently wiggling right under every flashcard). I understand that the free app needs ad revenue, but there needs to be some control on how distracting they are or the app is useless as a study tool. I do not recommend the app, which is a real shame because I have loved the desktop version for years.

Quizlet is a shadow of it's former self. Just a few short years ago, this was the best term-learning platform available. Now, a corporate takeover and an aggressive new business model has locked even the most basic and quintessential features behind a paywall. I recently returned to Quizlet to make a large vocabulary set only to discover, weeks into my revision, that accessing and learning study sets was NOT in fact an available feature. There is absolutely no value in this app anymore.

This is a good app if all you need is flashcards. But if you want a detailed learning experience, you're locked behind a paywall. This used to not be this way. It used to be that they'd give you all the learning experience you need (Multiple choice questions, written questions, practice tests, etcetera But within the past year, they've locked all that behind a paywall, losing much of it's use for those who aren't able to pay (Such as young teenagers like myself) But, I guess flashcards are okay

Quizlet just seems to get worse and worse with each update. "Feature rich and performance poor". You can't edit a term while you're in certain modes what you can when in others. It's as if the people that make the updates have never really used the product. Now, we have a situation where I used to turn off or disable the written answers when I'm using my phone because it's inconvenient to type, I would rather just do multiple choice or speak the answer.

I like being able to organize all of my notes and flashcards, and in the past Quizlet has definitely been a staple to helping me remember things. My issue is I am a busy person, and barely have time to sit down and study. I think having the ability to listen to an entire flashcard set would be very helpful. Like being able to hit the play button and listening to all of your notes while you're working, with different playback speeds and whatnot. I think this feature would help many others too.

I swear every update makes the service worse. I used to be able to do starred flashcards and whittle them down as I learned them; Now they're so focused on making things look clean that you can't un-star while using the flashcards. I would just use the learn feature but, OH WAIT, it's bugged and won't let you learn the whole set after doing it once. Edit: I can un-star flashcards if I go to their website, I just have to put up with them spamming me with ads to download the app that's worse

One thing that I dislike is that they've made some of the basic testing functionalities paid features for certain lists. (for example, on one of my Spanish lists I have to ask the AI to quiz me because I'm not allowed to just get prommptes with the term and write out the answer). In my opinion, basic testing without the bells and whistles and specialized features like extra quiz styles and AI should be the paid features. They should add a "suggest correction" feature.

Overall, Quizlet is an amazing free study tool. Although, I have problems with the app. The app is a downgrade from the website. I mainly have problems with the flashcards. I find it annoying how I have to swipe away cards when zoomed in. Especially when I have big sets containing around 150+ words. It's a huge time waster. Literally, just add a next button. What makes it even worse is I can't favorite/edit cards without zooming in on flashcards or going to the editor. Maybe add a search tool.

I copy all my notes onto Quizlet. Then I study as a boredom killer. It helps so much with memorization. Edit: In 2017, this app was the most amazing and I even went pro throughout school to support them because they offered so much. Come back just to see they've locked everything behind a paywall. Now you can't even "learn" or "practice" more than once unless you go pro. Sorry to see what happened to them. The new AI feature is neat, though.

I've only used Quizlet for flashcards, and it's been great so far. I add new cards to the pack on the web version then use the app to review the vocabulary. I do wish it had a better and easier interface for adding new cards; the web version is a little clunky for that. I love that the app has an option to hear the word, but I've noticed the stress is wrong in a few cases, so I just started including the stress when I create the cards.
