Getting a black screen on my friend's side. Tried to find a fix, turns out several other users are getting the same issue. Black screen on one end while it works just fine on the other. Rave claimed and is still claiming this issue is fixed when it's clearly not. The issue is not the devices rave is installed on but within the rave app itself; asking users to uninstall and install, restart phone or even wait for the battery to completely die(seriously?) is not a fix. Extremely disappointed

It's good but for some reason when I watch something in netflix, it doesn't always have an english option in both audio or subtitles. None of my friends have had this problem and things like signing out of rave and netflix, and deleting the app then reinstalling it or even making new accounts can fix it. This is the only thing keeping me from using this app.

Not only is this app cluttered, its also unintuitive, laggy, inaccurate. (in terms of synchronisation), and has even caused a Twitter suspension to one of my friends from simply logging in. On top of that, it doesn't seem moderated, as I had joined and the top room featured pornographical imagery and video. This is a terrible first impression of an app, and I don't recommend this application to anyone at ALL.

This app so far is great! Only one issue, please remove the little map Icon showing people's exact location. It deserves 4-5 star but, because of that feature teens 14+ without VPN could attract predators. I've not allowed it access to my location and yet it's sharing my location (luckily using VPN) Not a necessary feature, like the app, it's fun. **PLEASE REMOVE THAT FEATURE** Safety of people & there location.Never share your location online.Teens could be potential danger/harm due to it.

Rave is an amazing app, I use it to watch movies with friends and loved ones across the country and world. It's easy to use, and the interface of the app is easy on the eye and overall it's quality is great. The reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 if because sometimes, freezing occurs when watching with others. As well as the mini player refuses to show video but the audio works great.

Perfect for watching videos in sync with long distance friends and family. I just tried this app out as my husband and I are long distance and we miss watching videos together. I do wish they had Hulu as a video source. But you can always download what you want to watch together and put it on Google Drive to stream through Rave later if it's not available on YouTube or Netflix.

Great concept, but its buggy and not very user friendly. It did okay on my device, but the hide mature content setting did not work on my friend's computer. Mine was set to that automatically, but hers was not, so when she logged in, there were a bunch of really graphic porn suggestions on her main page. The app then proceeded to crash her computer. She's having to scan for viruses now. I had no idea this was an app that pushes porn onto people's screens without them searching for it.

There are few complaints about Rave that I have, like Hulu should also be a streaming option, The app crashes once in a while, The quality of the video goes down and can't be changed, etc. But despite these, It still is a pretty decent app. I use it every once in a while to watch YouTube or movies with my boyfriend and friends. I'd love to see what future updates have in store.

Being in a long distance relationship, being able to watch movies together and stuff is really nice. Only problem is it wouldn't work with my Netflix account. :( kept saying my account was "no longer active", but then when I would go on the actual Netflix app, it would work fine. Very disappointed. :(

I don't want to be harsh because I don't know many apps that i can use to watch movies or videos with others. However, this app is god awful sometimes. It crashes and lags. Plus, the synchronization with others doesn't work well. I will be 1 minute into the video while my friends will have to skip all of it just to watch with me. That takes the purpose out of the app. Good app but terrible bugs.

Well first Netflix wouldn't work but I sent a message to tell them about it hoping it would get fixed. Next thing I know there's an update that says it had improvements and bug fixes so I expected that I'll now be able to connect my Netflix account... nope. It doesn't even show up as an option now. That was the only reason I wanted this app. Edit 5/28/19- I just redownloaded the app. It's now working. Thank you for fixing it. I definitely plan to share it with my friends.

sometimes it works fine, but that's rare. it's incredibly buggy and will kick me out randomly, or sometimes when i open the app it logs me out. and during the actual videos, some will say they're unavailable or they won't play yet they're completely fine outside of the app. it's extremely frustrating to constantly have to restart the app just to get one video to work. i'm only using this because it's the only thing my friend and i can use; otherwise i would've uninstalled this way sooner.

Overall works but still pretty disappointed. I wanted to watch something using a web link. The video pops up and it loads. I can see the duration of the video. But everytime I press play, it immediately pauses. I can see the frames if I continuously press play and the audio cutting in and out so I know the video link works, it's rave that doesn't. Just keeps on pausing. I know it says not every web link will work but seems like it always happens to me.

It's an amazing concept and idea and would be a welcome social distancing tool to keep us connected with loved ones during this crises. But thats only if it worked the way its supposed to. Witch it doesn't lots of glitches and no its not synced with the people your watching videos with specially if they aren't connected to a wifi connection and are either using data or a hotspot. I couldn't hear anything being said to me and the movies continued to play in the background even after exiting.

It's an ok app for watching stuff with others. The UX is not very user-friendly, and the settings/customization are lacking; you can't turn off autoplaying previews, for example. Ads are pretty invasive, but that's to be expected for a free app. Be advised, the "public" section you see when first opening the app has lots of porn in it, so this is definitely an 18+ app even if not intended as such

This app is absolutely phenomenal. Maybe I am lucky or something? Absolutely no errors, apart from not being able to hear audio once or twice, even then I just had to leave and rejoin. Me and my girlfriend use this all the time! Amazing quality, the only ads that pop up or get in the way don't even happen during the movie. You are practically getting the app ad free apart from the few banners. It is so easy to use, the daily 1000 kin/Ken make it so fair to use. I reccomend this app 100%.

Decent when it works but mostly either you or someone else will not have audio and or video constantly having to close and reopen and reenter a room to try to fix bugs or disconnect headphones or hang up the phone etc basically it only works if you are just using this app and nothing else and works best if you don't invite anyone else which defeats the point entirely but when it does work... It's a good stand in for rabbit (rip)

This is one of my favorite apps everrrr! It helps me and my international friends hang out and watch movies together with NO ADS. I have recommended it to literally everyone I know and they have all agreed it is an amazing app as well. The only issue I run into sometimes is the app differences for international group raves; we compromise with something we can all watch but it's still a bummer when things don't work out the way we wanted.

trying to watch the whole harry potter series on max. The first 3 movies I was able to watch with my sister on our phones. But the rest won't load for some reason. This is not a max problem because they load just fine on the regular max app. It just has a loading circle when I try to watch it through Rave. I uninstalled it and recently installed it. And I restarted my phone twice. Nothing is working. My sister's phone is a few generations ahead of mine and she is having the same problem. Fix it!

Love this app! Works great with one little flaw. I constantly get error messages trying to use Disney+ and so it can't be used at all and Max is always hit or miss. Either shows and movies load and play or they load and just sit and buffer regardless of wifi signal strength or data availability and signal strength. Kind of limiting esp when you you enjoy various content on multiple platforms. Otherwise Netflix, Amazon, and YouTube are great.
