I am unhappy with the lack of upfront notice about the fees and the inability to converse with people without paying. I signed up, and added my picture but had not intended to buy a monthly subscription. the site is perhaps akin to match in that way. the pictures are too small for easy perusal, making identifying prospects tiring, because I have to open each to even see the person clearly. the visual framework should be more like okc. I do encourage multifaceted profile forms and prompts.

So far I am really enjoying this app. I love the feature where you have to take the picture right at that moment that you are setting up your profile. They do not show anyone the picture but the picture is compared to your other profile pictures to make sure that it is you. That feature is the best way not to be catfished. So far there's a lot of handsome nice interesting looking gentleman on this app. Looking at the nice selection of men is what made me decide to go ahead and sign up.

I just downloaded this app so my experience is very limited. So far, I am not sure I like the interface and navigation of things. It could be my phone. When searching and putting in my filters I an noticing that some of the things I didn't want to show in my search list shows up. In addition, the profile photos look stretched out and distorted. I'm going to try to give it some time to try it out before making a decision to stay. I'm also not sure the benefits/diffs of the packages in my area.

Its a fairly decent app for the most part. Filtering searches and more search "options" are definitely needed. Just needs some more tweaking. In closing, one really big pet peeve is that we should have the option to terminate our account through the app or website. I appreciate how quickly i got a response through email. However, only allowing members to "deactivate" their accounts makes me feel uncomfortable personally about dealing with that particular app. Hope this helps.

This app has quickly become my favorite. It is really easy to navigate and it is used friendly. Its different from other apps, as in everything is sent to the RBL team and verified before your pics or descriptions are posted. This keeps the garbage to a minimum and the real connections happening. I have had zero issues so far. Good work in this app.

The app is a good idea but not working. when you're trying to go to the different pages, they connection times out and you have to click over and over and over again. You also can't message anyone without paying for a subscription nor can you see the messages that someone left you. Unproductive in my opinion, I don't even have the opportunity to connect with anyone to see if I would want to pay for a longer subscription. the customer service is attentive, I emailed them recently about why I couldn't see my messages with a premium membership but no response yet. Hopefully they'll work out the Kinks and this app can be 100% great!

I just signed up a couple of days ago. I appreciate the authenticator feature to assure no catfishing. I immediately received messages from potentials, but you must upgrade to have the full experience, because you can't access some of them or reply to a message if you or them are not upgraded. You still can look at the photos of potentials without the upgrade, but, I think it's worth to upgrade and I will soon. I don't think anyone will do this just to play around.So, so far a 👍🏼up, we'll see.

I recently started using this app. You have to go through a verification process before being able to log in which helps toward eliminating Fake Profiles and Catfish. Setting up your profile is easy and you are able to communicate with people without pressure to upgrade your membership. It is a good dating app overall and definitely worth trying.

The RBL app is a welcomed alternative to others. I signed up and immediately I was able to view and communicate with a wide variety of people in close proximity to me, and throughout the country. It is THE BEST source to locate the kind of people that fit the categories that are most appealing to Black people. Ease of navigation makes it the preferred app compared to others. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND RBL to meet and communicate with like-minded individuals, and to create mutually rewarding encounters.

This app is just ok. Two good things about it is that the person can verify their photo so no catfishing. Another good thing is you can delete a conversion if you're not interested and the person can't contact you anymore. To me the pics look distorted on the app, not many men my age in Houston that have active accounts, and they don't have a way to cancel your account on the app. That needs to be implemented. I wouldn't reccomend the app though. Nothing special about it.

It's free to see profiles. You cannot see messages unless you subscribe. I do like the feature of authentication of photos when signing up. RBL has a distance you can choose from, but it keeps showing profiles out of my chosen distance. Because of the distance issues, I will not be renewing my subscription.

I've just recently started using the app, but so far I like it. It verifies photos, so that makes it really safe to use. The location setting makes it easier to see singles in your area. You can also see singles outside of your area too, which I like, because it opens up more options for you. The functionality of the app is also pretty good. It doesn't freeze up, or have any other complications.

Heard about the app previously and didn't join until I heard about it again on social media. Nothing to lose and everything to gain. After trying on both platforms, Google has better interface graphically. Apple has more search options, but not as smooth graphically. I am enjoying the opportunity that the app presents during this time and appreciate the commitment to keeping it real! Thanks

I'm enjoying the app so far. Easy to navigate and edit one's information accordingly. I like that they must approve all pics and are clear regarding inappropriate pictures or what content will be grounds for termination. No room for error. I do notice that replying to multiple people calls for an upgrade but to be able to have a free response is pretty cool. The suitors so far are good looking and respectable. I'll be sure to do a review after using the app for 30 days.

Its ok but could be better.... It seems like there is always a system lag when scrolling. Been on for a few months after giving it a second try. The first time had no luck. I understand yes you have to pay but the options /quality of potentials isnt the greatest. I get monthly system error issues where I can't log into my account and it often times takes a while before customer service responds.

So far so good, I like the no catfishing aspect of the app so nobody can be fooled. I suggest making it requirement to post at least 3 pictures minimum. The photos might be verified but the one profile pictures some have do not allow you to really see their face. So far I don't have any issues other than the pool is very young, I am assuming that once I pay for a subscription I can utilize more features so I will see. I will follow up in about a month. So far no complaints.

So far the app looks promising. The selection of men is lush. There are search features that narrows down state, age, education, height. You can change anytime so youre not stuck looking in one state. You dont get bothered by spam or msgs from otherr countries, which is a big deal and no ads. Photos and profiles are verified before even allowing to browse which is very different from other apps. Im hoping to find the man of my dreams here. Id love to be a part of the real black love experience.

MY BEST EXPERIENCE THUS FAR. I've not had any issues with the app. It is uncomplicated and easy to navigate. Load time is good and the layout is simple (a good thing!). In dating app land, this is a welcomed change to apps I've tried in the past. The success stories are evident that RBL is meeting a GREAT need for a better quality, user friendly dating app for us. I would definitely recommend this app. Looking forward to my own success story. 😊

Trying out from a friend's recommendation. I appreciate the verification process to gain access which limits fake profiles. Profiles are pretty much on par as other dating apps. Lots with no info. The app itself is not very stable with a few processing glitches as you move throughout the interface. Also a constant pop up to upgrade the app even if you have the latest version.. So pack a bit of patience. To gain full access, one needs to uprgrade to get the most out of the interactive experience.
