Can't turn off the shutter sound. It's so loud and annoying.

app can't be used without signing up for an epic games account - which I neither want nor need. This is not mentioned on the store download page uninstalled

Key missing feature. Over the last couple of updates, the app got a ton of useful updates like auto capture. But one key feature still missing - organizing projects into folders. And as soon as you approach 100 photos, the app crahes. I have a pixel 7 and it froze for 5 minutes and for some reason changed the wallpaper. Ans it keeps saying camera failure.

The best photogrammetry app out there is finally available for Android! Having just done a couple of scans, I'm really impressed by its capabilities; considering the app is completely free unlike PolyCam which I've been using for a while now... Atm imma rate it a 9/10, as I wish I could save the data sets to be used on RC PC to compare results. UPDATE 1.2: my capture limit is still 200 and not 250 as advertised!!

Impossible to take photo. Nor in automatic mode nor in manual nor with volumes buttons. Have the "recovering your location in 3D space" always displayed. Hope I will be fixed soon

Garbage, not intuitive nfi what to do once it's scanned, it wants me to publish it some where I have to sign up for when I was already forced to login to epic games. Simply wanted a scanning app that makes an stl file.

Requires login Basically impossible to use on Pixel 8 Pro, since there is no manual lens selection it keeps switching lens's which makes the location of where the photo was taken be way off.

easy to use and gives good results, keep in mind that understanding how to do it and practice makes perfect, you have to work for a good result

This is incredible^^ it's great at 3d scanning and it's free. I uploaded a scan and opened it on nomad sculp. It works great!

Using a Galaxy S23 Ultra Continually gets stuck at 8% processing, then fails - Doesn't appear to be a refresh of process after loss off signal to server. Trying to scan a non reflective object, in direct sunlight and good conditions - Approximately 230 photos used - Still failed.

Edited : App is still great but it needs the option to delete bad photos at any time, so many times I forget to remove the bad images before naming the project and have to start over.

Wow, I'm really surprised how bad the results are. The higher quality with more pictures came out worse. I tested a chair and parts are completely missing. I expected so much more based on YouTube videos and because it's Epic. I hope they are going to improve it, unfortunately other scan apps are better right now. App is easy to use, and cloud calculation is fast. But the results. I guess pro equipment and many attempts are necessary to get something useful. No modeling replacement right now.

Large wide soft single point light attached to phone will get you good scans. It does not like deep Dark color blacks. Such as jeans or shorts. You can maybe use black as a better color to key instead of green ? Idk if their is an ideal scan environment. Scanning people is possible, Holding a T or A pose long enough is difficult. In full body scan hands usually scan rough or okay. 3 point lighting worked okay for a scanning of a person. But needs to be composited & cleaned up in Blender.

This app has some real promise, once a little more structure is added to it. For example, I wish it had the ability to take video and extract the necessary data from that. It could also do better at not rejecting so many images in the scan, but I'm sure that will come with improvements to the algorithm. Overall, I can't wait to see where this goes.

It used to be better. Lately most of my scans have been turning out horribly and it often says some images are invalid while other softwares able to make use of them. In other software im also able to use an image sequence of me walking down. A trail etc and it replicates the trail but this app is limited to focusing and rotating around a center point. The quality output seems to be getting worse Over time too and im very limited in the pictures i can take because it get confused with many pics

It's a great idea, but it needs a LOT of work! I HAVE successfully generated ONE good model with it, but only one so far. In the event that it DOESN'T get a perfect fit, it fills in what's missing with a gelatinous white blob - even just assuming symmetry for missing data would be a MASSIVE improvement. Also, it often focuses on the background instead of the foreground, and allows no settings for adjusting focus or communicating to the algorithm what precisely you're trying to do!
