Wonderfully simple app, that doesn't work on my moto edge+ 2022 for some reason. Recording seems to work, but then going to try and listen to the recording and the file is just empty. Tried resetting the permissions and uninstalled update to revert to the one that came with the phone but still no luck 😕

As a student myself it has helped me record lectures time to time & even share some important conversations in case someone missed. 😃I recorded a busking event one time I thought the recorder wouldn't be able to record the actual voice due to the noisy environment but I'm glad that my recorder proved me wrong😄 & now I hear it on loop and cut some spaces with the features on the app. Overall it's a great help for recording literally anything!🙌😊

It has been failing since the last update, even though it says to have had "bug fixes", which, personally, I had not had any before the said update. I could handle it at the beginning since it would take just a couple of tries to open, but now it doesn't even open, so I had to go back to the default version. The rating is the reflection of this issue. I use it a lot, therefore, it would be great if this problem could be fixed. Thank you.

I love this Built-In app that comes along with most if not all of the Motorola Phones and/or Other Devices, as of the Year 2024! It is VERY useful. This app is the only app I will EVER use and trust for recording only the Input Audio of the Outside World. I don't think any other Audio Recording app out there could come even close to compete with this. However, while it is VERY easy to navigate and useful, I do have some suggestions. A feature to create folders in other folders would be nice.👍👍

It was a good recording app that came already installed on my phone (Moto Edge 30). Now I can't update it because "it's not compatible with my phone anymore", that doesn't make sense for me

Great recorder, not really a fan that I cannot go into the app to access my recordings directly for file transfer. It would be nice if I can send them to my SD card when storage is full or just give you the option to choose to begin with would be great. When having no nearby share working makes sending something virtually impossible and the app technically useless except for literal referencing.

most recent update added AI and broke the app completely. app no longer records anything at all. edit: uninstalling updates hides all of your recordings. you will need to use a third app to access your existing recordings

Decent app except for editing a recording. 3 ⭐ earned! Thank goodness I choose to save an edit as a copy otherwise the whole recording would have been lost like the edited one. The only negative, the loss of IMPORTANT medical info! Been using since December 2020 with that 1 issues. I wish I could have it on other devices of the same brand, Moto but unable to find it in the play store! Doesn't give the option to install on other devices like other applications offer directly from the Play Store!

I used it to record a speaker in a church whom I could barely hear, but Recorder had no problem picking it up. The playback is terrific. HOWEVER.... this says it's no longer compatible with my device even though it's a Motorola. What gives?

App not compatible anymore but why can't it be removed a better question is when are we as a customer going to wake up and realize we're being ripped off by the whole mobile device and APP concept period . There is nothing wrong with landline phones, laptop or desktop computers, and the PlayStation or Xbox console with a big screen tv. Oh and let State this fact cause phone mobility is awesome and we had it with CAR PHONES driving down the street being mobile using the phone.

Terrible app! Don't even waste your time. The recorder STOPS RECORDING when using more than 1 app. If you happen to get this bloatware, uninstall it and move on to better recording apps. Unless you plan to use this solo without using any other apps with it, this recorder is a complete wasted effort. The developers need to move on in life with other things that doesn't involve apps, because they failed. Zero stars but forced to give 1.

I'm so excited for this app!!! A little while back I tested google and Samsung for transcribed feature but was sorely disappointed. This app blows all of them out of the park. It has transcribed function with auto language detection. I did a small recording where arabic and Urdu were used (not popular or easy languages!) and the transcription picked up both. There are gaps. some places incorrectly words or spelling picked up. But more model training can help improve that

this app came free with my Motorola phone. I would give it 5 Stars as it is a straightforward voice recorder. no editing and no advertising which is exactly what I need. however two big problems 1) where are the files being stored on the phone? why can I not select a storage location so I can find the files easily? I have given a few file names very unique names and I still cannot find them on the phone using Windows search or using Motorola files search 2) MP3 recording would be nice.

absolutely garbage app. every single recording you make will be cut off short. the duration they save will be less than half of what you actually recorded. I even tried to just let the recording continue in silence for like 20 seconds afterwards and it still cut the actual audio in half. worthless. do not get this app.

Don't know what good this is can't use it to record phone calls or anything that I know of so in my opinion it's junk bloatware on my phone
