DESERVES NO STAR FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. This app is not working properly. I scanned receipt in February 2024 & received acknowledge- ment but never received my points. When I used the app to contact Red Lobster, I received the message app has a bug and I have to wait for update, which there has not been an update. I have sent six messages through my account using my PC and also telephoned a manager at restaurant. NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME. About two years ago I also lost points.

The food at the Monroe Michigan location is excellent! Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly. Our server was Laurie and she was exceptionally good. She made sure our food was at our table at just the right time. We never felt rushed and she made our visit very pleasurable! I would definitely recommend this restaurant and our server!

I downloaded the app but when I went to scan my receipt... It said that I already scanned it so I didn't get my points for the visit. We had a party of 6 and the bill was $290.11. The waitress that waited on us was super nice. She did her job exceptionally well. The food was excellent and delicious. But the only thing that disappointed me was I didn't get credit for the visit. And I tried to comment a review on the app but it kept saying there was one error. Giving the rewards app a 2!

When updated app and opened it I was asked to log in. When I did it gave me the message "Invalid State". Not sure what that meant. Pressed login again I was sent to the page to change my password. Did this twice, still can't login. What am I doing wrong? I already have a bunch of rewards points. Updated to a new phone. App works great now. 👍

Old app worked great, it's now worthless. Unable to sign in, keeps going back to sign in page. Tried resetting password, no luck. Uninstalled, restarted phone, reinstalled - still same problem. It really sucks when an update cheats a loyal customer out of everything. UPDATE: All is well now, don't know why it took so long for app to start working properly but it finally did. Happy now.

I can get into the app fine, see my rewards, and scan receipts. However, the order online function is glitchy as hell. I log in, select order online, select my items, go to the cart, select checkout, I can check out as guest or log in (despite already being logged in). I select Log in to get my rewards, I log in, and it drops me back onto the home screen. If I go back to my order, it's still there in the cart, but when I try to check out that loop repeats - sign in, drop back to home screen. Same thing happens when I try to checkout as guest - I fill in the fields and it loops me back to the home screen. I literally cannot place an order with the app. I uninstalled/reinstalled, rebooted phone, cleared data, all that jazz. Nothing works.

This app is absolutely horrible! Kicks you back to the home screen any time you minimize the app or hit the back button. Shows me as logged in on the home screen, but not when I order, and sent me to a sign-up page when I did log in from the order page. Ended up having to order as a guest. Next time I'll just order from a food delivery service instead. Look at all the other bad reviews, I think it's time to get new app devs or do more testing before you release major updates!

Old app was fine. New one does not work. Only way to get in is to create new account which dumps all your previous points. If you wanted to dump the points, you could have just closed the account. I guess I'll go elsewhere now. So the update I get an email address to contact them and it's not a valid email. I use apps from a dozen other eating places and have never had a problem. Not a good reflection on the business

I've had no problems with the app any time I've accessed it. It's pretty user friendly, I'm not very tech savvy so I appreciate that. I've had the app for a while, and used it multiple times. I would think more than enough to know if it caused any issues for me. I had it on my old Galaxy Note 5 for most of the time, as I just recently upgraded to the 22 Ultra. I can say I've had no problems out of the app with either phone. The transfer was seamless.

1-25-19. Going to dinner & cant sign in to access my Reward. It doesn't say my login name or password is incorrect, just says "Unable to Login" so I do the "forgot my password" link, enter my email & it gives me an error message but goes away too quickly to get a screen shot of it. I've had it with this app!!! All my points & rewards USELESS!!! Installed the app, used it once & the next time I tried to get back in, it wouldn't let me sign in. I couldn't even use my FB acct to sign back into it.

Update to last review & email sent: I do ensure that I am logged in. There would be no way for me to see my rewards if I wasn't. I see the rewards, click 'redeem' & nothing happens. I have tried several times on different devices and on various orders. There is an issue on your end. I am unable to redeem my rewards when placing an order via the app or online. It is rather frustrating. I have sent emails about this issue in the past & have received no response.

The day after I installed the app I couldn't send text messages to anyone. I had to contact Verizon wireless and they couldn't fix the problem. After turning my phone on and off three times which usually fixes most issues, they told me to delete any recently installed apps. This app was the only one I installed in the past month. I deleted this one and restarted my phone and then my text message problem was gone.

This app is useless. My husband and I attempted to use an earned reward towards an add-on menu item. When I redeemed the reward on my app at the end of the meal, our server wasn't able to validate the code on the restaurant's computer system. She was kind enough to remove that item from our bill as a courstesy. This morning I received an email that the receipt I scanned couldn't be validated, so I lost points for that meal. Customer service via the app has been notified; awaiting response.

I have tried getting into my app since beginning of Dec 2019. I have had the Red Lobster app prior to that and was always able to get into it and scan my receipts. Now it does not allow me to do so. As you suggested, I uninstalled the app and then installed it again, changed my password and was still not able to get into it. It really disturbs me because I have a birthday in Dec and was not able to use my rewards. My email shows I have rewards but I'm not able to use them. Plus I have gone to Red Lobster many times since Dec and have not been able to scan my receipts. I even asked at the restaurant but they could not help me. I have also sent emails indicating my problem but no one has answered my emails. What good is having it if I can't get into it since you made changes late last year. Why did you do this? Please help me to get my rewards. I do like Red Lobster a lot.

App is terrible. Comes up with bad gateway when I try to place a online order. When I manage to get past that, I highlight a category, but can not view the options. I managed to get past that, and let say I want to go back and view something else. There is not back or do not add to order, when I push the back button, I'm brought back to the home screen and have to start all over. Guess I'm gonna have to order from somewhere else. Update 9/2 app is useless, forces u 2 order from website.

Won't let me log in - customer support's pointless. The app & website both will not let me into my account. I have followed guidelines to set new passwords multiple times. Still won't work. Updated app & everything. Doesn't matter because the website is screwed up too. It lets me accrue points when in red lobster, but I can't use them for anything because of this password issue. Something is very wrong with their password system. It shouldn't be accepting the new passwords if something's wrong.

Not a very user friendly app. I tried to sign up for the rewards account. It wouldn't let me. When I click on a meal option to see what it includes, there's no easy way to get back to the menu to continue browsing. My phone back button closes the app completely. There is no back button on those menu item selection pages. The Red Lobster button essentially takes you back to the beginning, but not back to the menu where you left off. I'm ready to not even place an order. Frustrating.

I tried ordering online from the app several times over the last few months and when searching location the feature doesn't work. If you can't select a location you can't order! I have typed my zip, city, as well as "allowing" the app the find a location nearest me. The app shows "new online ordering" at the very top of the app but you can't do it, they need to take that down! Clearly we can just see the menu, that's it!

Works fine. I am out of room on my phone, so I'm having to uninstall and reinstall apps as I need them. I can't have an app for everything. Every business thinks I can just download an app for their perks account. I don't have that kind of room on my phone. This one reinstalls easily and quickly on the rare occasions we go to Red Lobster. I love the perks when I rack up points.

If you have problems getting it to work then check for permissions allowed and your AV software if some is installed. The Red Lobster app doesn't really help you figure such problems out. It just won't work in some cases. January 23, 2024 update: I raised my rating up to 4 stars for now after just checking the performance and some functionality. Once I got the permissions authorized and configured my antivirus software to allow some behaviors it seems to be back to its fairly good value.
