Signed up to see the difference between the free app and PLUS, add music and edit your stats. Just used it for a long trip and the app crashed lost data for half the trip. Got back, without any notice charged for one year subscription. Can't contact company (contact buried in site) Website not updated (Copyright 2020). Will be contacting PayPal and Credit Card to dispute the charge. The free version worked well as a novelty. The Plus version and subscription, worthless! $38.99 for a year and the app crashes, losing data? Really believe this app is just harvesting data for resale. No warning of pending charge (they say check your spam) Think for that price Relive would know how to format a email so it does not go to spam!

Recent update won't allow me to continue creating a video without starting a trial of the Relive Club, even tho there is a "not now" option (which doesnt work!), every time i press next I am returned to the "free trial" prompt. please fix this. Update: prompt for Relive Club was because i had 14 photos on the Strava activity. Relive imposes a limit of 10 photos. I had to email support to learn this, the app gave no indication the # of photos was the issue.

So far, so good! Went on a two mile hike with 10 friends and loved the ability to edit pictures, videos, and then later incorporate pictures that my friends sent me, even ones that weren't georeferenced. The next update id love to see the ability to attach my own audio - but i can do that in a video editing software separately for now.

This app does a great job of representing travel while in motion. It is however useless to me because it automatically edits out all stops. That is, it makes the event look like you are constantly in motion. When I analyze a randonneur event I want to see how long I stopped, where I lost time. When I remember a cycle tour or a hike with friends I want to be reminded of the places we lingered to see a view or share a snack. Why can't Relive faithfully replay my event?

Very disappointed. Last phone I used this on allowed file uploads and got some great videos. No longer without paying $120 or some such a year. Relive app on Samsung S9 running Android 8.0.0 closes repeatedly, every time the screen goes dark, for just about any use of the phone. Useless. My Garmin GPS only uploads to online Garmin Connect, so no path that I can find there to transfer to Relive.

This app consistently fails at it's most basic task, tracking. It consistently claims elevation changes of hundreds or even over a thousand feet. On the surface of a lake. It claims speeds impossible for a kayak to do. I'm sure all the social feed and extras are great and all, but if it can't track basic workout stats it's all kind of worthless. You're much better off using the free Samsung Health app (works on non Samsung phones) which CAN accurately track time and distance.

POS app. Did a 24 mile ride in San Francisco, took all kinds of photos, was really looking forward to seeing the results. Ended my ride, named it, it went to another screen but I had to turn my bikes in at the rental place. I put my phone down and did that and then went back to Relive to finish up....everything was gone! App had not been closed but the ride was no longer there. Will now use a more reliable app for these kind of activities. Also all pics gone since it doesn't save them to gallery

Great concept to make sharing your adventures a fun experience for everyone. I bought the subscription to be able to load more pictures. My 1st Relive did well (did that video in Sept), but my 2nd video (just recently taken - after update) was very off. The pictures I took within the app were missing and it did not pin to the right places. It also dated my video to being in Sept (the time of my previous video) instead of early Nov. It also was slightly off in tracking, so overall, I am giving this 3 stars. If the review was only for my 1st video, it would have gotten 5 stars. My 2nd video (considering I have been paying) would have gotten less than 1 star. So, over all 3 stars.

I love this app. Except when you are out most of the time there is no service. At least in the hiking,snowshoeing,mountaineering etc. Maybe you start out with service. Start recording then at some point service is lost. Recording stops.I wish this day in age we had service everywhere. I wish App had function to download map prior or something. This is more of cell service issue than app issue. It is just disappointing when you get excited to use this app to find out half is not recorded.

Edit on July 2019: They've moved from a system to relive activities to a social network. I can no longer get to the parts i want to use quickly and they no longer work woth Strava. Original rating: Amazing app that you have to see to believe. I used it to relive a hike, and the terrain view made it feel like I was back there again.

I can only give 3 ✨️ since I have the same problem like so many other premium members... the pictures don't feed into the video creation automatically anymore. Even after uninstalling and re-installing of the App I have to create all moments manually. It defeats the purpose of this otherwise nice App. One more thing, more tune choices would be greatly appreciated as well.

I used to love this app. Not anymore. I have to keep the screen on so it works, then if it goes off and I don't turn it back on soon enough, it'll only show a straight line till my destination just like I was driving over a lake, houses, and fields and 💩. If there were less than 1 star to rate this app with, I'd keep it to myself. Even that's a waste of my time. Just like the time I lost typing this. Do better relive.

It's a good app. I like the customization like time for pictures to appear, and it synchronizes them with the music at the spots you take them at. It shows where you hit your top speeds, gives a 3d satellite view with names of towns, parks, or other landmarks. I wish it had the option for electric unicycles (EUC). A lot more people ride these now, and they are a great form of transportation. Not many apps for EUC. I ditched my iPhone for an android just so I could get EUC World app back.

This app does well with tracking ( if you allow the app to run without power restrictions ) The music choices are limited, even with a subscription. Unable to remove the Relive marketing tag from my video even after paying for the service. I'm looking at other apps with similar abilities and more editorial control.

When I'm traveling, I'm using a navigation app. After some time, relive turns off, and then the app doesn't record the location anymore until the next time you turn it on. Now I have a few recordings with straight lines, since there was n9 recording. Can you add to the location options, "All the time"?

The apps works well. I wish they allowed you to remove the branding especially if you're paying premium subscription UPDATED: 8/7/2024 Believe or not, the massive branding bother me too that I never used the app. What's unbelievable is that in their TOS? They actually state that you can't edit out the branding when posting to social media

A relatively important oversight is the lack of ability to set a specific duration for your videos. Instagram requires a video to be under 90 seconds to allow music to be added. There's zero ability to set a length for your videos on this app. I emailed them about it and requested a refund - they refused. So here is their 1-star review. It's not worth the cost when you can't even do something as basic as set a time duration.
