I purchased the premium version of this app. Except the voice control other functions are working fine. (1) While clicking the "mic" option its keep on refreshing and says please ensure mobile and android tv are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. (2) After the latest update it took long time to connect with TV and always says make sure to connect TV and mobile in same Wi-Fi network. I feel wasted Rs.370. Its been 3 months old from the date of purchasing this app. But still have both issues.

It worked well enough that I bought the paid version, but it only ever worked for one day. After the first day I never got it to connect to anything again. I don't know how to get a refund. This is basically a scam at this point. There are also far too many ads on the free version. It's unusable as a remote because you get served a 30 second to 2 minute unskippable ad every 15 seconds.

Works to my satisfaction. Ads do get annoying but they don't go for more than 10 seconds. Easy to use and understand. Haven't paid for full version as I don't need to. Picks up all my TV's which is great. Definitely recommend if you're not wanting to replace your TV remote. Connect to your TV's with wi-fi only. Only downfall is you can't use it if your wi-fi drops out but that comes with only working on wi-fi connection. Would be fantastic if the app had a Bluetooth connection option.

Not a "good" app choice. Downloaded this app because my TV decided to permanently disconnect from any physical remotes but it takes up to 15secs for the app to connect to the TV (if it connects the first time), does not have a "tap and hold" feature for scrolling through menus/videos and it'll lose connection with the TV during use. Even after paying the $5 "Premium No Ads" it still isn't good. Just use the Google TV app because it also has a remote menu for Android TVs and works a LOT better.

Constantly pops up ads, asks you for a review. This is just a remote app. No reason to have 30 second ads after every few clicks. Small banner ad at the top or the bottom of the screen I get. But this is worse than some pay to win games. If there weren't other options I would actually seriously reconsider having an Android TV.

I really like this remote a lot. It seems to be the best working one I have. The reason why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because while I am in the middle of using it, an ad will randomly pop up. Like I was using the volume button and when I was still pressing it an ad for Walmart came up. Other than that I absolutely love this remote!!!!

After the fair priced purchase I made for this app, it worked just fine, and the app always stayed connected to my tv (as long as in range, obviously). Now, after a couple of weeks, half the buttons (volume, mute, menu, and input)do not register at all. Plus, now I am always having to reconnect it to my tv every 5 to 10 minutes (mind you, it only is connected to one tv).

Connected to my device once. I hit 4 buttons and a full screen unskipable ad came up WITH sound. I turned off my device and tried to connect to another box or the one I had been using and it found nothing. I closed the app and opened it again. It prompted me for what I think of this app. Very not impressed. I like the layout and was strongly considering going premium but the aggressiveness of the ads and the failure to connect are going to have me uninstalling soon.

I do NOT like this remote. The ads pop up right in the middle of clicking buttons, so you can't do anything until you clear the ad. Doesn't sound like a big deal, but when you turn the TV on and it's too loud, too bad. When there's a horrible ad on YouTube you can't get rid of it until you first are able to ship the ad on your app (if you can't find the real remote.) I very much miss my Roku. Especially the private listening feature, which seems to be missing here. 🤔

It works.. but it is an amoral app. It will put ad pop ups right when you click the buttons, so you accidentally click on ads and go to their advertising websites. This is horrible for the users and the companies running the ads, because it is creating a con art way of generating clicks from users, making companies pay more for no reason. Really no good. But the app does work and helps if you temporary lost or misplaced your actual remote. Update: there is a remote option on Google home/tv apps

My batteries in my physical remote died, so I grabbed this app to change the channel real fast. It set up quickly, but litterally after that I pressed Back, Up, Up and was suddenly blasted with a Advert. This is less than 10 seconds of use. No thank you, I'm not paying for pro either because you can't actually see if it's worth it without ads every 5 seconds quite litterally.

Ads block access for way too long! Ads launch as soon as you open the app and block access to the remote control functions for several MINUTES with no ability to dismiss. I realize ads are necessary to pay the bills, but they used to be short enough to justify. The wait time to get to the remote has gotten longer and longer, to the point the app is useless and I uninstalled. Find another way to show those ads without blocking functionality, like showing them at the bottom of the screen.

Too many ads. Especially annoying when I'm trying to quickly click something only for an add to pop up! Ha Ha! I timed it! You can't use it but for maybe 10 sec or less the first time you open it every time you open the app. They won't get a click from me. When the ad pops up I minimize my screen, exit and restart the app then I can use it for about a 30 secs to a min before it tries again. You won't get a click and I'm not sitting through an ad either, but I bet I'll get use out of the remote

Too many ads There are so many disruptive ads. You'll be changing the volume, then an ad will appear, loud, on your phone. If you're clicking (aka using the app) and and ad shows up, you might click on the ad then open up a window. Very frustrating when your husband is asking you to fast forward a show and you're like "I have to wait for the ad." Then use the clunky navigation, click back 5 times then another ad. Ridiculous. I had a free version on another phone. I miss it.

Ever since I upgraded to the pro to be rid of the pesky ads, it keeps freezing and I have to close the app and go back in to get it working again, which it as annoying as waiting for an ad to finish before using it. . Currently, it's not working at all. Also, it would be nice if it had shortcut buttons like the physical remote for Netflix or Hulu or whatever else.

Connecting to the TV was simple and seamless. The controls worked, if slightly unintuitively. Beyond that: truly awful app. Full screen, sound on, full minute ads that interpret any movement (even trying to open notifications or close the app) as clicking on the ad. And those happen every 5 button presses. And that's on top of the banner ads at the bottom of the app. Only took me 5 minutes to realize that I'd rather buy another remote than deal with this app.

Had a hard time finding a good app with as many functions as this one. The one thing that almost had me uninstall were the very annoying and persistent ads. I would of also appreciated if they would specify if the reasonable fee for the Pro version is a one time fee or subscription based (which I would never do) I believe it is a one time fee (based on reviews) But if it is not, I'll cancel and uninstall.
