Fraud! Rented car with Goldcar in France (Nice Airport). At pickup, had to pay 1.5 times the amount I already paid through Rentalcars, contacted Rentalcars => never got an answer

Buggy as hell, it takes forever to load a booking and crashes half the time. Also tends to forget previously registered booking. The service is good, but the app is terrible

We hired a car for 5 days, and our flight got delayed 4 hours, Rental Cars cancelled all our 5 days reservation without any refund. I consider extremely unfair since I should be able to rent the car even for less time than the 5 days. Worst service ever, totally unfair

I rented a car, but upon arriving at the check in, they said no credit card, can not rent. Even THOUGH I PAYED FULL. RIDICULOUS. No option to cancel either. This app is a scam app. BEWARE

I placed a booking, and insurance for a car yesterday. When i go to pick up the car I get told no credit card, no car. I had to cancel the booking. Cost me $123.64. Then i go to complain and at the top of the list is "no credit card"? Must happen a bit? This app is an ABSOLUTE TRAP! This app allows companies like ocr australia car rentals. They do not clearly define CREDIT CARDS ONLY. Fine print is confusing, but allow a booking to be made without a credit card. How many others have been robbed

(2019: This is a very neat app. Intuitive and easy to navigate. Perfect!) Update Jul2024: this app no longer works. My account and all the info in it has disappeared, no option to log back in. No past bookings, randomly fails to display current booking. Please fix this.

On the advice of my friend, I booked a car, but when I came to pick up the keys, I was told that my debit card was not suitable and that I needed a credit card. However, my friend rented a car using a debit card and there were no problems. The money for the reservation was debited from my account and the type of card was not an obstacle. The technical support told me that it was my own fault for not picking up the car and that they would not return my money. I do not recommend using this service

They failed to inform me that they don't rent to locals. I asked the person that I spoke with if they rent even though I was a walk up and wasn't using a flight, this was expressed on the contract when I made the reservation.They than take your money and put a hold on the money their customer service is Very bad . Be aware of low price something cheap can be expensive.

The service is excellent... if you can reach it. The Android app constantly reveals errors and sometimes, I simply have to look somewhere else, because it never returns my search due to errors. The website seems to be more reliable, so, just use that. The prices are much better using this company, than with every other discount provider that I have tried, so, 5 stars for cost savings, 1 star for mobile app.

When all goes well, good for you. If you have issues, you are on your own. Customer support is poor, I just gave up after several attempts of reaching out, saying it can't find my booking (but it sent me correct booking number, when I asked to restore). 20 minutes waiting for someone to pick up the customer support phone, and I finally gave up. They deal with fishy companies, like Caldera. Google reviews are calling them pirates, and rental cars does not want to help or even pick up the phone.

This company has become spam. I once used it for a rental price comparison and now keep getting unsolicited emails without the ability to unsubscribe. When I click "unsubscribe" in the email, it opens up my browser but your page isn't loading. I tried 3 separate browsers but I keep getting the same error message each time "Pardon The Interruption We Think You're a Bot" well, you're the bot if you ask me. Don't download!

This app didn't register that I had made a booking for pickup/dropoff at different locations, and it booked me for a single location. Changes were not working via app or website, and customer support was unreachable by chat or phone. Cancellation was the only option, and an unfair cancellation fee is charged. Marking as 3 stars depending on if they help with the unfair cancellation fee or not.

Inflexible and outright thievery. System didn't allow cancellation of booking due to COVID implemented travel restrictions and agent, upon calling, told me she would issue partial refund and then emailed me while I was on the phone with her a complete cancellation with 0 refund. Abhorrent customer service, completely inflexible policies. Highly recommend walking instead of using this app and their services. Or at least book directly with the car rental companies.

The worst experience ever, I booked a car from their agents and it says free cancellation, and soon as I went to take the car they wouldn't gave me because it requires Credit card which in this case I only had debit, I made the cancellation literally 20 min later and they didn't refund me anything, when I called them they said that you must have read the terms and conditions, so that "free cancellation" stands for "let us rob your money" 👎🏻 don't recommend this!

App is ok, but sometimes policy not as flexible as it seems. And customer service oberqhelmed. I wanted to shorten rental period and the fact of not having booked directly with rental company meant it would end up being more expensive (and the rental company was willing to do it no probs, they ended up blaming each other). All in all, ok for "standard rental", but when it gets tricky, going through a broker makes it unnecessarily difficult. Will book direct next time.

This app is actually LESS than helpful because it will not show all of your bookings. Each time I use the app, only a random selection of my bookings are visible. Emails regarding booking status (cancellations, etc) DO NOT have the rental details (like dates, location, etc) in them, only reference numbers. They encourage app use. In my case, a "hidden" booking I'd made months earlier led me to get a duplicate rental from the same location. I ended up paying for two rentals because it appeared that my rental had not went through or had been canceled by Rentalcarscom. Despite the known app problems, they refuse to refund or credit my account - telling me that the app is purposefully buggy in order to promote mistakes that make them extra money.

Awful. The application times you out even if you're in the middle of doing something. It doesn't save your filters, so you have to reset them EVERY SINGLE TIME you look for something. If you get a quote for a particular car, it doesn't take you back to the search screen. It takes you back to the very beginning where you then have to enter all of your information again. It's ridiculous. I didn't realize that my credit card needed to be set for an international payment, so it declined. When I went back in to make the payment FROM THE EMAIL I RECEIVED FROM THE APPLICATION, my entire reservation was nonexistent. Absolutely terrible app.

App is terrible - you can't set pickup location. I'm flying into an airport (obviously) but they give me downtown rental locations. I'm not going to take a taxi 30 miles away to pickup their car 30 miles away. The filter does let you specify the location. I spoke to customer service. Their own rep told me NOT to use the app - that most people have problems using it. DON'T USE THIS APP!

No EV filter. Improved slightly. "rental car counter closed" even with correct times chosen during open hours. Must start and input everything over every time you back up to edit. Day doesnt default to today. So many, many things wrong with this app. Reservation hangs, even full site hangs. Everybody just says "clear your cache, check your internet connection". But meanwhile, expedia works, budget works, everybody else's travel site works.

This app is not user friendly. Nor is the company behind it. They unjustly charged me an $80 cancellation fee. They have a "policy" in the very fine print of the 15th paragraph of their terms and conditions that says people in certain cities including Chicago and Atlanta cannot rent a car for local use; you have to show an airline ticket. Nowhere is this clearly posted before you book this on their app or website. It's a trap. They take 80 bucks for every sucker that falls into it.
