This app worked fine the first time I used it. Set up is fairly involved, understandably. I stopped text msgs because of constant messages after 1st viewing. I sent text UNSTOP, received confirmation that I would now receive messages. I didn't. I spent 45 mins w/support in chat. It finally worked. A week later, I tried viewing a house. No text msgs. I contacted support TWICE. The issue was unresolved. Evidently, support chat times out whether the issue is resolved or not. LOTS of bugs.

I first started to use this app and it was perfect. Fast forward a few months pricing and other things had changed with the app since we used it the first time. Didn't mind, UNTIL I was locked out of my account. Call and emails, the phone call I was told to wait 24 hrs for the investigation of my account due to inactive account. I understood and waited a week and a half. I called later for refund and close the account. Emails don't get answered, use different self tour app.

The app is great but the map is super glitchy. I'll apply to a place/be put on waitlist and go back to the map and I'm just randomly in the ocean or something. Maybe adding one of those target symbols that you can hit and it'll move back to your current location, like in google maps. I love this app but get frustrated when I can't see locations of houses in retrospect to where I am without the extra steps of clicking on a house and then clicking the map there.

The ability to tour houses on your own time is great. Good selection, at least in a metro area. App has some bugs but overall works well. Knocked off a star because I got randomly locked out of my account when trying to tour houses. Have to wait 72 hours because of "suspicious activity" with no way to speed up the approval.

Love the app, but the password glitch... I just posted a 5-star review the other day. Then my password stopped working. And after 3 password resets, I still can't get back into the app. There's a discconrt somewhere that keeps the app from recognizing password resets, even after the app requests you reset your password. SO, I can see properties but I can't schedule any tours.

App works nicely when it works. Sometimes the lock has issues or won't work (I think the realtor might be in the end process of leasing). But if so, don't make me drive there if you won't let me in or if you already have several applications taken and have enough to choose from. But I like being able to go and gain access right away. It's a bit cumbersome on the app, especially if some areas reception is spotty. All in all, I keep coming back to search on Rently.

The self tour feature works great, very easy to get in and nice to walk around the home with no issues. The rest of the app & website is terrible. 500 characters isn't enough to cover the problems I've had with this. Relocating to a new city is stressful enough, this just adds more frustration to a diffuclt process. Sadly every rental where I'm moving uses Rently so I've no choice, otherwise I'd never touch this again.

I used Rently to tour homes myself a few years ago and it was way less invasive and less limiting then. They want pictures of your ID which is understandable but they now limit you to touring only 3 homes at a time, which is difficult for busy people who want to set aside a whole day to tour many homes...and out of the 6 homes total that I've gone to since installing the app, 3 of them were not accessible because of lockbox damage or missing keys, and those still get counted towards your limit of 3 per day! Also, when switching back and forth between the rently app and my gps app to get directions to a new home, rently reboots every single time so there is an annoying extra wait to get back to where I was.

Great concept and extremely convenient for looking at homes. The app though has a ton of glitches and bugs. The map search doesn't work at all. I mean AT ALL. You have to open the map, and manually move it to the location you want to search. If that's across state or the country, good luck because you cant zoom out very far. Selecting properties from the map also does not work most of the time. It either doesn't select them at all or opens and immediately closes them. Its extremely frustrating.

It's a great convenient idea to allow people more freedom. Unfortunately, the app is completely awful and unusable at times. It got stuck and flashed between 2 screens until I completely closed the app to reload it. Total seizure trigger. It loads up to random places like Los Angeles or Miami constantly no matter how many times you try to search the city you actually want. And once you find a place you want to look at, you have to fight it to pull up the thumbnail picture to even see it.

Amazing app! Simple to use and so much better than the traditional route of finding someone to help you view a house/apartment. I spent 3 weeks searching for a place with a rental agent and after 30+ viewings and 2 applications that weren't chosen, it was becoming stressful and disheartening. I downloaded this app after a Google search and found a house with 7 days. I put in an application and it was accepted almost immediately. 5 days after, I will be moving into my new rental home!

App is misleading. Drove over 2 hours to go see 2 properties. One doesn't have the lock. The second has the lock but had 2 keys. When entering first key, it displays that the code is invalid. When entering second key it displays no more key for today. They took my personal information, and charge me a dollar. I am requesting a refund, also I want my personal information deleted from your system.

This app has really horrible glitches or connections. At 1st, I used my phone to reset password. Then I used a computer. It says it sent to my email, but I never received anything. Then it locked me out and I had to wait 24 hours. After waiting, same issues. It's really frustrating. Otherwise, I'd say it's a good app. But the bad outweighs the good.

It's a bit choppy and the UI isn't very in depth. I dont like that I cant click on a house for further information without the picture loading and closing over and over. Also when I try to look through the pictures it seems to not register when I slide my finger. It will sometimes freeze and I'll have to exit and restart it. Other than the bugs I think the app itself is useful for searching for future residence.

Easy most of the times, but there have been a few complications with getting verified. Once you've been verified, you should not have to do it again. I was at a home to do a tour, and I had to call customer service/call center to get the name and contact number for a realtor to get a lockbox code. Just too much of a hassle. On a scale of one to ten, I would give RENTLY a 9. Which is very good!! Just get a few kinks fixed and you're a 10!! Thanks, RENTLY!

This app is absolute trash and a waste of money. I paid the money, did all the verification, and every home I went to it stated "automated secrurity has blocked this account". YET, BOTH Rently and the actual rental companies both point the finger at each other to who needs to fix it. I drove 1000 miles to view homes for my move coming up, thinking I could trust this service. Do not waste your money.

Not a good first experience with the paid $11.99 service. I scheduled a tour for today on June 2 from 8 am to 8 pm. Never got a code or email and learned the reason was due to my account automatically putting the tour in the "Viewed Section" (nothing showed in "Upcoming") like I had already toured the place and every time I try to retour it says I'm already scheduled. Absolute waste of $12.

The app freeze and glitches even after the new update abd if I'm paying I should not have a problem second when I arrive at a property it sends several text before it allows me to enter the code can be very frustrating. Very convenient if worked properly but a waste of my money. Not happy wuth app but this is what most use for me to tour potential homes.

Uninstalling the app for the 2nd time. Only because it has successfully helped me find my next rental home not only once but TWICE. BOTH times being a wonderful and easy experience. They've connected with companies directly. Seeing properties on the self tour feature has always been excellent and easy. Very secure and safe method to go looking and renting your next property. Highly recommend.

The app doesn't work. I had to call them to open a door for a tour. They tried to get me to pay again. It freezes. The information about the property wasn't properly put down. I guess they just post anything. The property manager that I was talking to though Rently Tours lied to me and forced me to put in a application. That I wasn't going to pass. If Rently is a middle man. Take responsibility. Do better. Make sure the information of the property is correct. If I'm paying you for "information".
