Now a member of the Bio-terrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA), Chris is sent to Africa to investigate a biological agent that is transforming the populace into aggressive and disturbing creatures. Joined by another local BSAA agent, Sheva Alomar, the two must work together to solve the truth behind the disturbing turn of events. Featuring a revolutionary new co-op mode of gameplay, Resident Evil 5 will let players experience fear together as terror moves out of the shadows and into the light of day.
Immersive Single-Player Campaign – Chris Redfield, protagonist of the original Resident Evil and Resident Evil: Code Veronica, returns and is joined by new character Sheva Alomar, an African BSAA agent tasked with investigating the epidemic.
Next Generation of Fear – Features groundbreaking graphics that utilize an advanced version of Capcom’s proprietary game engine, MT Framework, which powered the hit titles Devil May Cry 4, Lost Planet and Dead Rising.
“Quick-Select” Inventory System – Improved inventory system allows items to be traded between characters. To add to the intensity, all inventory management is done in real time; items can even be assigned to the directional pad for instant access.
New Control Schemes – Features new modernized third-person action game control variations as well as the return of the traditional Resident Evil 4 control schemes.
New Enemies Bring New Challenges – Enemies boast increased speed and intelligence, making them as dangerous alone as they are in groups.
Powerful New Weapons – The number of weapon variations has been greatly increased providing new ways to keep enemies at bay.
Fear Light as much as Shadow – Lighting effects provide a new level of suspense as players attempt to survive in both harsh sunlight and extreme darkness.
The NVIDIA SHIELD Android TV version has full support for Google Play Achievements as well as cloud save and sync across your SHIELD devices. The game runs at 720p HD resolution on supported displays.
NOTE: Co-op and multiplayer modes are not currently supported.

Game crashes back to the home screen after roughly 5 minute playthroughs. It seems like it could be something RAM management related. I have never seen this with another game on the Shield.

I have tried installing it 3 times on a fresh install. It crashes as soon as I am to the point I can controll chris. 1 star untill this is fixed. Couldnt get a refund do to the time it takes to install it.

The game looks really amazing on the NVIDIA SHIELD TV, but the only downside is that co-op mode is not available. One of the reason I purchased this game was to play it from beginning to end with my wife. At the moment the game will be just there collecting dust until co-op mode is enable. Will give 5 start when the game become whole again.

This game is so bad it makes my brains bleed. If you want to make a shooter, give us ammo. If you want a brawler, give us some reach with the knife. I dont remember NOT enjoying a game so much since the NES era. I can't believe you guys chose to port this game over all the good games in existence.

Surprised that this runs and looks as well as it does considering it's a capcom game Lol got this for $5 so it was a deal runs well plays and has everything the console version has except co-op/multiplayer, Etc. but as usual you see NO patches to keep up with performance, Etc..game gets released and thats it, they're abandoned. I won all RE games on PC and console so I had to get this but NOT at full price unless it the full game like on PC or 360/PS3 no excuses the hardware is 2X more powerful than those old consoles. So lightspeed studios get to work! What ever happend toi crysis 3 with multiplayer HUh Nividia you know anything about that ?? lmfao

Ive had this game for a few years now with no problem now itwont validate my license and gives me error 04000000 pls fix.

Unplayable. DRM has broken this game. License check fails on startup and Nvidia wont fix it. Shouldn't be sold.

Purchased a new Nvidia Shield to replace my dead one and now it tells me this is not compatible???? Made for the shield but only works with the old one =/

Resident evil 5 needs update for Nvidia Shield TV Android 9.0. After Nvidia 9.0 update, Resident Evil 5 opens to logo screen, freezes for a few seconds,then forces itself closed. Please Fix! :( If Yu are going to continue to ignore me and not fix this then please, REFUND MY MONEY! Thank YOU!

Having problems to getting it work it downloads just fine but then crashes on start-up got it to load twice on my NVIDIA shield pro 2019 and it plays perfectly once i got it to run but since then it hasn't worked. please help me to fix the start-up crash

Installed this, which had to update and relies on Wi-Fi, then tells me I have a license issue. Having the same problem with Doom 3 and Contrast, error 0100000000. My wi Fi is working. Reinstalled Contrast with the same license issue. Please help resolve.

Purchased this for my Nvidia Shield when it was first released. Now it will no longer install. I get an error message telling me there's not enough storage space. I have nearly half a terabyte left on the drive. Space is not the issue. Even gone as far as reformatting the drive all over again. Still claims I don't have enough storage space to download. Ridiculous.
