Initially both were connected and I was just beginning to learn to use the app. I received a phone call which evidently only connects to the left aid and from then on problems with the app. I no longer am able to control or customize the environment. Only the left will connect now despite turning airplane mode off and on (which shouldn't be the fix anyway since it is a known problem and the app needs fixing!). And, streaming music and connecting calls should be optional, not forced.

I've got my ReSound One hearing aids on Dec 2nd 2021. The doctor set me up and we installed this app. It worked very well until a few weeks ago. The Bluetooth connection to my phone was good but then I lost communication to my phone. I couldn't hear my phone calls, listen to music etc.. I checked the Bluetooth connection, It was good. I reloaded the app, now can't access it completely. My Bluetooth shows its connected but it will not allow me access anything. It loaded and work well on my i-pad

I've worn hearing aids since age 5, and I'm now 42. There is only one problem. When streaming music to a speaker, if I walk too far away from my phone, music stops and switches to my hearing aids when I come back. I would love to be able to turn off media streaming to my aids but still use them for phone calls while streaming to external speakers - other devices allow this. Fix this and you get 5 stars.

The resound app does not live up to its advertised capabilities. The settings in the creation of “favorites” and to fine tune the standard environments are lost when switching between environments or when the hearing aids are turned off. Resound is aware of the limitations but have no plans to add these capabilities. Resound aids are also currently having connectivity issues with the newest iPhones.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! ReSound hearing aids, while extremely expensive, do not have the cell phone compatibility advertised. They cater to a very select group of Samsung phones and iPhones only. If you do not own one of these, do not waste your time. UPDATE: So, rather than working on compatibility ReSound has a $300 Phone Clip+ bluetooth adapter. So much for working on phone compatibility.

Since the update to Android 12 and the latest application update, consistently had to reboot the Aids and re-pair the phone. Frustrating. The new direct audio works great. Update: 06/16/2022 Software is very unstable, Bluetooth connected is iffy at best. Unable to get and maintain connection. How do I know because I can get a Bluetooth connection manually and play the direct audio. Android 12. Hopefully you can resolve this challenge. Minus 3 stars 🌟

Worked well for a few months, now it constantly disconnects. I'm not going to keep uninstalling the app because I always lose my favorite settings. Not happy with the hearing aids or the app. Next time I'm buying a different brand. Update- Got the same old generic response from support. About uninstalling, clean the phone, blah, blah, blah. Still same results.

I can now finally say that the Smart 3D app is working!! I had a Samsung Galaxy S10 and the Smart 3D app would never connect with the hearing aids unless the phone was reset every time I wanted to change the settings of BOTH hearing aids. Some times one or the other would work, but unless I reset the phone never both. Now, I finally replaced my phone with the Samsung Galaxy Flip 5 and voila, they work every time, without rebooting! I am so happy!

I have to use the app because without it the aids are awful- a high pitchy sound. The app loses the bluetooth connection A Lot. It will drop it after I take a call. It drops it every time I get more than a room away. It drops it while it's in my pocket. Listening to music is really bad... again tinny and high treble. I pteviously had a simple pair and the sound was great for music and phone, it didn't drop the bluetooth connection.

It effectively allows me to calibrate/configure my hearing aids. It does that, so I don't dislike it too much. My problem is with the audio streaming feature. I don't like it and the sound quality is poor. I wish I could turn it off but I can't. It automatically streams to my hearing aids even when I have something else I would rather use paired. The streaming also frequently drops if I try to use it. If I could just turn off the streaming feature and keep them paired I wouldn't even mind.

About 90% of the time, the app only finds one of my two hearing aids. No form of troubleshooting has successfully addressed this. I love my hearing aids, and LOATHE this app. I would've abandoned it almost immediately, but with raging tinnitus as well as hearing loss, I need to be able to make quick adjustments. It's why I sprung for these incredibly expensive HAs. When the app works, I get to hear almost everything I once did. The abysmal performance of this app is extremely disappointing.

I had 2 hearing aides lost 1 and I cannot connect my hearing aide to my android for adjustments on any of the resound app to connect my 1 bc the pop up screen will not go away to get to the connect to 1 hearing aide. So that's why the app sucks. I need my hearing aide volume increased and update it I am positive. I put brand new batteries in it every 3 to 4 days. So it is not the battery. So as I said all the GN , RESOUND APPS ARE HORRIBLE!!! DO NOT BUY A RESOUND HEARING AIDE!!

Hearing aids worked well for two months. Did an update in December. Instantly lost, "front focus ". That was one of the reasons I bought these HAs. Emailed support. Never got reply. Two days ago went to open app. Realized too late it was another update. Was watching TV. Immediately, streaming started dropping. On a few minutes, off quite awhile, then on for a short time. After losing front focus I intended to never do another update. Screwed up. Now, it's almost impossible to watch TV.

The support for Android is terrible. Half the functionality available on ios is missing. I constantly lose connection with one or both hearing aids and have to reset the Bluetooth. I'm planning to upgrade to Starkey from my resound one 9 and never buy another resound product literally because of how miserable of an experience this app has been. And yes both my audiologist and I have done everything possible. This just comes down to a lack of quality software engineering by resound.

I have a Samsung S22+ which paired with my hearing aids until they no longer pair. Following all the procedures, at least 20 or more times, they will not connect. After multiple times of starting over, the aides are found, BUT, when asked to connect I repeatedly get "try again". And, so I can't control my aides. I have spoken with Resound tech and went through the same processes with him, even resetting my phone, which caused me to re-install features that impacted other apps on my phone.

App is great - when it works. The problem is the app keeps randomly closing and disconnecting from the heating aids. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times, cleared the cache, granted all permissions, and made all settings changes possible and nothing seems to work. Update 3/13/2024: I notified support and all they said was that my Motorola is not compatible and they would not be liable for any damage. With that I revised my rating to one star - no support and useless to me.

You made this app with preset modes that don't do anything for me. And when I add my own that does help, your app continuously reverts me back to the preset garbage to force me into using what is preset. Nobody's hearing is the same so why would you install preset settings that can't be changed. If I would have known it was this bad I would never have paid $6000 for the hearing aids. I have showed and then detoured other people away from these hearing aids and will continue to do so..

Did a new update happen? Because I followed all the instructions to the letter. At first, my right hearing aid would not connect. Now, the last three times, I've had to reinstall the app because neither hearing aide is connecting. I brought them to my audiologist 2 times, and they still will not connect. The last time they went back to Resound to rebuild them. And... It finds them. But it does not connect. What gives? This is a big steaming pile of BS.

I have worn hearing aids from different companies over the years and have found these to be very comfortable with a long recharge battery life. It is especially convenient to be able to customize the hearing aids using the easy to use app for different environments and functions (such as streaming music or using the external microphone). It really makes my listening experience more enjoyable.

I was fitted with the latest rechargeable ReSound hearing aids in March, 2024. My left ear is severely impaired, the right moderately so. When I used the app to adjust the level of sound in each hearing aid, the app took it upon itself to determine that one hearing aid is too loud, and therefore adjusted it down!! It apparently "learns" about your hearing aids and adjusts them as it sees fit!! I had to go back to the audiologist to have them reset to the programming she had designed for my loss.
