The game is addictive and is one of the best. The problem I have is that the finance section is too tight, you receive a very small amount of money even after winning both the league and the champions league. Also if you start coaching a team, you will never be able to change to another team unless you restart the game, it's super boring

Great game. Simple, fun and addictive. But I'm having issues with the last mission of South America Tour (score 80 team gols in a season on 1987/1988 Brazil). Have completed this objective several times with different teams but my challenge reward (points and unlocking Zico for finishing the entire tour) never computes. Don't know what I'm missing, is the challenge bugged? EDIT: 5 well deserved stars for the game AND swift dev response! Thank you for reading and taking it into account!

Fun game, great for passing a bit of time but there's not a huge amount of depth to it. Can get frustrating when your team is so much better than the opposition but you miss all your shots while they score all theirs. Happens to often to be just bad luck, so does seem a bit by design. No transfer window also makes it a bit easy. No negotiation so you pay face value for players but are typically lowballed when selling with the option to accept, or refuse and take a morale hit with your player.

Addicted and nostalgic! Could be improved further with more leagues. I've completed all the challenges and now waiting for leagues to be added. Personally I would like to see the option of spending transfer budget on other things such as expanding the stadium, hiring scouts to find more overseas players but the simplicity of this game is what key.

Brilliant nostalgic game but fixed to watch ads to get transfer funds. This makes a season an hour longer. Tried numerous times without ads, duff formations, influence,age. Overachieve for 4 seasons then fail to get top 3 and sacked. Totally fixed. I first played with ads for a few seasons and won loads buying everyone. No manager nous for this. A money game to succeed. Sad as I like it but its fixed to pay or watch ads for an hour. Sacked because other teams have unreal funds and you suffer.

Can't. Stop. Playing!!! Perfect game for bus/train journeys. Can finish a season in an hour if you skip through games. Only issue is champions league games. You can win the first leg 5-0 and the score will revert back to 0-0 for the next leg. So if you lose the second leg 1-0 you'll be knocked out even though the aggregate score should be 5-1. This has happened several times now and is very annoying

Definitely pay to win. Done several different seasons, and every save you cannot win the league second season, which is always the objective. Despite having 90+ skill players all with high influence. Plenty of money remaining too. You'll lose silly games. Seems to be a threshold when you are 10+ points ahead, the game won't let you win until 2nd catches up. Again this was over several attempts. Feels like FIFA scripting.

Played before, enjoyed a little but a bit buggy, waited, reinstalled, started 95/96 with Liverpool, lose almost every game no matter how good my team is, just too unrealistic. Sorry really so want to enjoy, back to FM then. Thanks for reply, but I never said impossible just unrealistic. I've seen plenty of reviews with similar seasons to me, like I said Football Manager is still king.

Good game. But I found a bug, after the first match of the season, I tapped on the sell player button before the foreign players screen. I tapped the back button. The game put me directly into the second weeks team selection screen before the match and forced me play the second match. By doing this, it did not draw the European Cup teams. Hence, when the 3.5 weeks Cup game to be played the game crashed. This is unfortunate because I had almost 1bn in cash and a full star team.

It's too boring and low quality game. I know it's retro. But still too low graphics and too boring compared to old football manager games on pc. Just too low quality. Thanks for your response. I like the idea of the game. But look at Championship manager 00/01 and 01/02 for PC and try to make it look more like that. Try to make same menu, news, transfer market, squad tactics and also inside the match make it look same with better look or even add a 2d or 3d engine like new Football manager game

I was a little bit surprised when one of the players I'd substituted at half time in a game came back on when the player who replaced him got injured, this wouldn't happen in reality. I was also surprised that a team that were way lower in the league than me had better ratings for their players than my team when I was playing at home with an 8% skill boost!

Having read Sid Lamberts (X) hugely entertaining of his playing of this game I was ensured to download it. Oh my, what an absolute joy! As a man approaching his 50's I really appreciate the nostalgic nature of this game and the simplicity of playing it. It's really addictive and I am really enjoying managing my team with so many of the players I grew up watching.

It would be a lot higher as I actually enjoy the simplicity of the game and starting my career from the early days so I can buy up and coming legends. However every time I get a really good team it crashes just after an advert and a white blank screen appears and even if I restart the game it is still the same. Very upsetting.😭 Also would like to add that I have made at least three purchases on this game which makes this extra annoying.☹️ Have changed to 5 stars as a new phone solved the issue

Great game but just a little too simplified. Please add goals scored and allowed in the table and a way to see some player standing stats ( goals , assists and avg rating ) like top ten or 20 in the leauge and also seperate for your own team so you can see best players on one page in order. One more thing I'd love to see is matches lasting a little longer and for a team to be able to score in 1st minute, now it's 9th and up I'd be willing to pay for that. Please consider and thanks !

The first couple of days, this gets pretty addictive and fun to playout, then reality sets in and unfortunately doesnt hold up in any footballing sense, in either gameplay or management. If you're after the games of old, which I'm sure this one has modelled itself on, you're in for a shock. The results are diabolical. Far superior skilled teams losing to bottom resting teams are quite frequent. No actual team assembling in terms of positioning, tactics or philosophy. Pity though. Has potential.

Honestly a really fun game. Nice to play retro saves and all that. Just kinda annoying you can't get refunds for purchases. Plus, you don't see goal difference in the league, and in Champions League ties, if it comes down to away goals, it doesn't tell you who won. But the game overall? Fantastic. Highly recommend.

Bug where if you win the league but get knocked out the cup in that season, you're excluded from the cup in the following season. This is a very simplistic game that really needs a local cup, lower divisions and more varied goals adding to it. Oh, and massively over-adverted. Sometimes have to watch three 30 second adds one after the other.
