Has the feature, block call and will send to voicemail, well it don't work, you click the feature and it says they are, then after another dozen spam calls come in, when you go to block them, the numbers you blocked before have become unblocked. Another disappointing application.

Update to my original review from 2015... Back then, I rated it 5 stars. Now, it's pretty much useless except to block numbers, (which as stated in my 2015 entry, I can do on the phone itself). It can't give input now on practically ANY NUMBER, I receive a call from AND while using it, I have to wait for some BS ad to finish before I can find out MORE NOTHING on another call I allowed to go to voicemail because I get so many solicitations. Need to check. Hope I didn't pay for a Pro Version!

Handy app. Better than most as far as identifying caller. Simple to use and seems relatively accurate even though some of the information can be dated but that's simple enough especially if someone made a change in the last week or two. Overall very helpful.

I've been in love with this app, since I found it. Suddenly, with the last OS update, no workie no more. Sad day. I'll leave it installed for the meantime, in the hopes it's fixed, but otherwise, on a Note 20 Ultra, on Consumer Cellular, it got broken, with the last update.

I am thoroughly happy the results that I have, thus far, received using Reverse Lookup. The fact that it saves those "non-contact list" numbers and keeps them for me is priceless. So mamy times before I would "intend" to go research an unknown number but "life" happens and I forget. The big ole red background with a white R stands as a reminder when I'm just scrolling through my apps and then i dont have to go look for the numbers I wanted to research. Reverse Lookup has them. LET ROBO BEWARE!

My phone was on silent in a public place. Received unknown call and used this app to see who it was. The app started playing an ad with audio at FULL BLAST even though phone was on SILENT. I was embarrassed. Uninstalled! If anyone else values an application that honors ring state I would look elsewhere! A poorly coded app using (loophole) media state instead of ringer to justify something that is clearly WRONG! Very deceptive business practices!

Unlisted 99.9% of the time. Sometines it lets you manuelly enter info for others to see. That being said I have tried most of these reverse look up apps and they are all the same. Cell numbers can not seem to be traced, tracked, or whatever.

This app used to be amazing. Numbers were identified or quickly looked up through three major search engines. I reinstalled it on my new phone, and it suddenly cannot identify a single number and ads block the view of options regardless of my add settings. What a disappointment!!

Only works superficially on my Coolpad Legacy phone. After permitting access to my Call Log, the #s of Known Contacts are shown now as "Unlisted!" Also, as other reviewers have noted, ads pop up right over the main screen, obscuring parts of some items, with no "X" or other way to skip or delete the ad: how does one report this? Hopefully by UN-installing this app I'll get my Call Log back in un-tampered-with condition. Re Qs below: What're "secure messaging" & "anonymous messaging" ?

Thanks for the reply. I'll try it again. So, all of a sudden calls won't come through & numbers don't show up on this app. Tried going into settings but was advised that app has a bug & to clear cache which I did but to no avail. Uninstalled & now calls come through. Sorry, it was good for awhile 11/4/2024 Thanks for the reply; that must have been the problem bcc it's working fine now

Installed App about 5 or 6 years ago and worked well, now almost all numbers it states " This number appears to be unlisted, spoofed, or a cell phone number. There is very limited data available for these results." More often than not this is the case. I think that the developers got lazy and are not updating. I use another app and it tells me the information that this app won't. I don't excuses that you sorry that the app didn't work for me. Is that what you tell your advertisers? Fix it!

Used to be a decent app... down-rated because now every time I highlight ANY TEXT, I have a 'reverse phone search' 'option' uselessly cluttering up my menu. Remove this (!!), or make it optional, and I will increase my rating. Edit: then you should definitely remove this awful anti-feature, it adds no value, and negatively impacts day-to-day use of my device. It is very easy to copy paste numbers into your app without special shortcuts. Conversely, having a giant 'reverse phone search' option that I will literally never use crowding up an overflow menu I use all the time is way more annoyance than your app is worth. To make it painfully clear: I definitely won't have this app on my phone until you stop spamming my copy paste menu. I can't believe you thought it was a good idea.

When I first got this app it worked fine and then it got sluggish and became unresponsive. I have used this app on other phones and has done its job not sure on this phone what the sources of issues are. I also noticed that one time I access this app had a way to remove old entries that has since vanished.

Suddenly it doesn't check any numbers any more. I've even tried manual checking numbers of business i know would show up and it shows nothing. Even did an update a few weeks ago and still nothing. Just like others have said in here, it used to work great then a few months ago it stopped checking any number. From calls or manual entry. Disappointed

I used to give this app five stars and now I give it one cuz I can't give it zero. I just can't stand it when I ask for information and then I get a 30 second commercial before it shows me anything. This new way of taking over your phone for 30 seconds while it shows you a commercial is ridiculous and any app I've got that starts acting that way gets uninstalled. Uninstalled.

1-16-19 update.. bye. It looks like all this app does is look at whatever registered caller ID is to that phone number. I think out of all the calls I've received in the last two-and-a-half years with this app, only three phone numbers have ever been identified. I'm done. Now I'm going to go find somebody that actually can do a little bit more. It was interesting ride but it got boring.

Does not work well with Talkback. Double clicking a number results only in the blurp sound indicating that the click was received, but the app doesn't switch to the information screen. To lookup a number, a blind user needs to long click the number and click the copy option. It is then necessary to open the appp drawer (top right corner) and select manual entry. It is then necessary to long click the edit box, click clipboard and, select paste and finally, click the search button. Not exactly user friendly. After all that, the information is rather sparse, but one can use one of the browser search mechanisms to get more detailed information. With all that copy and paste stuff, the only advantage in this app is that it imports unidentified calls from the call log, which is handy if you don't have to use a screen reader. Given the need for blind users to do all that copy and paste stuff, my preference is for the Orave Technologies app, especially since it provides significantly more caller information.

When I'm trying to send the call to the voice mail, it has a long explanation of the call, with this app, I can't, because the app is covered with an add!!! So it is impossible to send it to voice mail. When this happens, it is useless to used, because the add covers it all, makes it impossible to use. It enables the caller to continue calling us. If we can't get to the controls at all, with thj adds in the way, At lease it smaller, so we can used the controls to allows us send it to voicemail.

Good tool to help track repetitive callers and eventually block them. I've used it on my 6 year old Samsung Note 3, but doesn't work on my New Samsung Note 10, receive error trying to block. Error reporting turned on, report sent to Dev. This app is not very good at identifying these robo callers. Too many of them call again and again and are never marked as nefarious. I feel we are losing this battle until someone can get serious about stopping this. Thanks for trying to help!!
