You can also record your own or your kids’ voice, and make them to ringtone or notification. Enjoy reminding you to answer the call with your child's voice.

Copy, cut and paste. (So you can merge different music files together very easily.)
Fade in/out for mp3.
Adjust volume for mp3.
Preview the Ringtone files and assign to contact.
View a scrollable waveform representation of the audio file at 6 zoom levels.
Set starting and ending points for a clip within the audio file, using an touch interface.
Play the selected portion of the audio, including an indicator cursor and auto scrolling of the waveform.
Play anywhere else by tapping the screen.
Save the clipped audio as a new audio file and mark it as Music, Ringtone, Alarm, or Notification.
Record a new audio clip to edit.
Delete audio.
Assign a Ringtone directly to a contact, you can also re-assign or delete the Ringtone from contact.
Sort by Tracks, Albums, Artists.
Manage contact Ringtone.
Default save path, you can change then in setting of "Ringtone Maker":

Music not show:
Android system is very slow to update its music database, so it takes time if you just download your music. You can use "Scan" menu of "Ringtone Maker" to force update.
Google Play Music can't be display, as it's hidden in special way, other app can't access it.
Workaround : You can access Google Music with the Chrome browser on your phone. Select the desktop site. Select your desired song, click on the 3 dots on the right. A window will pop up, giving you options, including download to device. Download and then use “Ringtone Maker”. It will now be able to be found on your device.

After you create the ringtone, there is a choice to assign it to your contact. If you choose this option, the Ringtone Maker need to read your contact data and show them in the list, then you can assign the new ringtone to somebody.
Ringtone Maker will not collect your contact information.
If you still have concern, please use Ringpod. It's same as "Ringtone Maker", but doesn't require Contact permission.

Very well made app! Sound file editing is easy to use and able to be very precise down to a hundreth of a second if need be, which is better than most mobile programs. As such, this app doubles as both ringtone editor and sound file editor. Once again very nice and would be worth it even if it cost money. Also very user friendly.

Over all it is awsome and does exactly what I need. Except that the notification continues to play even when I open the message or try to silence it... if they could fix this it would be perfect and will rate at 5 stars. Edit: the new update messed it up. It wont recognize sounds dl to my phone:( I did use scan and it found 2 and I have 10 mp3s on my phone. It found none!!!

Ringtone Maker: Make It Personal! This is an easy to use, straightforward solution to getting just the ringtone YOU want. And it's FREE! Isolate any part of any song to use as a ringtone, notification, or alarm. Or record sounds, like my dog snoring (LOL), to create tones just for me! Before this app, I'd download specialty tones, often at a fee. But out in public places I still couldn't tell if it was someone else's or my phone ringing. Those ringtones were "special" just not unique. That's Dead!! Now, I know exactly when my phone rings b/c the only one with my custom tone is ME!

This app is so easy to use its ridiculous. I thought I would have to save and browse a bunch of folders but you can make, edit and let the app set your ringtones, notifications, contact ringtones and alarms for you. Would you believe I recorded my audio from a streaming site right on my phone in the background? This app captured it beautifully. Thanks developers for making this app super easy to use. You're all so talented.

Turns out, I like this app better than trying to get decent ringtones from other ringtone apps (total meh). I really like the selection of audio this app includes for our use and editing. Very nice. Also, if I can't seem to download a ringtone from one of those other apps, they've actually appeared where this app can find them and then assign them to a contact. It's often the only way.

Love this app & have been using for the past 3 phones I've owned, so for a long time now. The one strange thing is that I have to enable SAF to allow writing to an SD card to be able to save the other types of audio other than music where they are supposed to go in Android, even though my phone doesn't have an SD card slot. Other than that being confusing I love it cause it lets you go down to the very second in editing.

I've been using this app for about 9 years now in several different phones and its just perfect to create, edit and personalize your ringtone to whatever you want... seriously, anything at all! Then you can save it as default ringtone, notification sound, ringtone for a specific contact, etc. I dont have any plans of using a different app. Awesome job guys!

So far, so good. I just downloaded this for Android and made one ringtone. It works with songs that you have dowloaded or saved on your phone. It finds the songs and lists them. You choose a song and "Edit" it to make a ringtone, then Save it. I had no songs saved on my phone, but installed an app to download songs from the internet (the YouTube Premium "downloads" don't work). The song then appeared in Ringtone Maker and was easily turned into a ringtone.

Man, it took some searching to find this! I could not care less about ringtones and music files. What I DO care about is being able to have 'spoken word' notifications. This app lets me record a snippet of voice on my phone, trim that snippet (very intuitive interaction to do that!), and 'publish' that snippet to either my phone's ringtone folder or to my phones notification-tones folder.

I tried using a Play Store recommended mp3 cutter and it had a minimum size requirement, a subscription for most features, and it didn't even make them into the correct file type for notifications. I'm so glad I found this app. Just pick the section you want or don't want and save it. Change the name, and file type (ringtone, music, notification) you can set the ringtone/notification from the app. And the list is easy to use, notifications and ringtones are highlighted differently from .mp3.

I can't say enough words to thank the developer of this app. I tried several others with high rating. They all didn't work out. Until I gave a shot at this app. Within few minutes my favorite ringtone was created, set as default under settings and sounds. Excellent app. Only one negative comment here. It does not have a menu to look for music on your folder. I had to play my music in one app and hit recording in this town capture the music. Editing was piece of cake. Good job guys. I recom u.

I love it!!!! Does exactly what I need it to do, record, clip, and actually use, also have the added benefit of choosing how to save and has a great library layout that, yes, seems a bit tacky, but it totally a blast from the past activating my nostalgia drive. Also if you try and record something for more than 39'seconds, you a special kind of stupid, Ringing for phone calls only lasts 30'seconds so it won't work well for an alarm tone if you want it to read you a book to get you going ya know.

This app is okay it could be a lot better though when recording songs from Napster or any other station it just sounds way louder and staticy they need to clear that up if they would to do that I would give it and stars, other than that it's okay still exploring though looking for something better. One more good thing is that I noticed they don't have any ads. Lots of potential though

The app does what it says. It takes whatever song you have downloaded to your device and allows you to crop it and make turn it into a ring tone. I took off one star because when trying to increase the volume of your chosen ringtone the increase in volume is not that noticeable and it comes at the price of losing fidelity. So, when choosing to make a song into a ringtone you need to make sure that the song sounds loud to begin with.

Ads are surprisingly infrequent, and not that intrusive as a whole. This app has a few technical issues which I would address, but nothing which affects its ease-of-use in a notable fashion, or otherwise makes it unsuitable for its primary purposes. As far as those purposes are concerned, this is by far the best app which I've used thus far.

I wrote a review in Nov. Of 2016 , it worked wonderfully; however, it is 2022, and it isn't working like it was in the past. I have mp3 music on my phone, but it isn't allowing me to edit the volume or fade. So, I will be un installing it. It has worked for me since 2016 until now. Thanks for a good run.

I've been using this app to make ringtones over 5 phones and 10+ years. But it's only now that I've been replacing mp3 with FLAC that I find that the app, for some reason, saves these edits as m4a files. So the majority of my music can no longer be edited with this app. Unfortunate, as it's been a staple on all ofy phones for a loooong time. If you're using mp3, it's the best. If you're using FLAC, it's useless. 😞

This app has always been installed on each and every phone I've bought since I've had a smart phone, it's easy to use, very straightforward, and you didn't really have to mess with it too much. The reason I'm giving this a 3 is because on my new phone a Galaxy S22 Ultra my personal notification sound keeps going back to the default notification and there's no way to make it stick more than an hour

Finally! After downloading, trying multiple apps & uninstalling them, this one works allowing me control when & where I can cut the song & apply it as a ringtone or notification. Another benefit - less ads, one little banner at the bottom of the screen, but no biggie. The app also allows me to exit whenever I want. Thank you.

Love this app. Easy to use. The layout & all the options make for a professional & user-friendly experience. I've had this app for so many years I can't even remember when I initially downloaded it. It is the only app that I've used for creating ringtones, alarms, and notifications & will continue to be the only one I use. This app has traveled with me through multiple phones/upgrades, and it will continue to do so as long as they keep it up and continue to update it. Highly recommended!
