I won't use free apps that expire. Bad form. And 3 days? Asinine decision. Bye bye app. So many free versions available. I'll gladly pay for an app that works well... And do every time I find one I'm using that has a paid version.

So near yet so far. I got the trial version to rotate the home screen on a new TCL-20S, a function which for some reason TCL has disabled. The app does the job, but in a maddening way: icons don't rotate in place, but change size and spacing; it zooms the wallpaper to a small middle section; it sounds a notification, twice, every time I unlock. Don't feel like paying $3.49 for these idiosyncrasies.

Trial version should let you try out different apps after the trial period is over. Downloaded Rotation Control a while ago, tried it on one app, wasn't satisfied, then uninstalled. Now I wanted to try it out on a new app to see if it would work, "trial period is over". I would have bought the full app if rotation control worked correctly.

Whilst there are many great reviews which honestly drew me in I have to say that while it makes a valiant effort to do the job it fails to be consistent. Which is quite frustrating, and why I've had to stop using it. Maybe I'll revisit in a few months see if it works better. I would say it is worth using the trial period, as in the past with similar apps, I've experienced ones that work for others but not me and vise versa I am using a Samsung A50.

Samsung s23+ this app isn't able to rotate the screen UPSIDE-DOWN even with all requested operational permissions, including accessibility granted. Apparently the Auto setting doesn't mean upside-down. I'll go back the other rotation app have used, it rotates upside-down but has a slowness doing it that I'm looking for a new app that is smoother. This app doesn't rotate upside-down at all.

My phone has autorotate but won't rotate to upside-down. App defeats built-in autorotate totally, even when I turn app rotation OFF. With this app I can turn on upside down or normal portrait but to can't get to landscspe without messy manual reconfig. Sorry, this is not acceptable to me. it should manually rotate to upside-down when I click the widget ON, and when I click widget OFF, normal autorotate should work.

App would've been great, but for some reason, it always become non-functional once my phone enters sleep mode. Each time I wakeup my phone, I must go into my background apps to call it up before it becomes funtional again. That is when you can see the shortcut buttons in the notification area reappear again. It is so frustrating.

Worked great for rotating apps that refused to rotate. I use my 📱 upside down, and this fixed the saps that wouldn't work in reverse portrait. Purchased the pro version within 2 days. Unfortunately, settings didn't transfer over from trial to purchased. Maybe a user error since I installed the trial version first.

I got this app because a strip of my top screen is unresponsive. Now I'll be able to just invert it or landscape to get around that, right? No, because you can't even ROTATE your APP for me to access then off/on switch. Wow. A force ROTATE APP that doesn't even have ROTATE enabled in ITSELF. Wow, indeed. I'm amazed by people.

Great. It works well and I like that I can have a "quicktile" in the homescreen's dropdown menu to toggle a small 'set-screen-orientation-this-way-buttons' notification to choose the orientation you want to set. It uses the accessibility settings to function. It can also tie specific orientation settings to app's and automatically switch the orientation when that app is in use. ☆☆☆☆¤

It works great but only for a short amount of time. You then have to download a different app which is about £3. I know it's not much, but would it really be that hard to make an app for free as all it does it control what way the screen turns? I'd rather watch an ad and it work for free rather than have to pay. I think it'd work better if it had an option to remove ads for money. People shouldn't need to pay for such a simple service.

There are a lot of Fake Apps out there which I tried & doesn't work! After a long time of searching I found this, atleast this one does it's job properly & it's easy to use... I use it to play vertical games in Landscape Mode (7DS : Grand Cross). So, Thanks for being Real! Edit - The free validity only lasts for 2-3 days, after that you would have to buy the Pro version for 1$

Nice app that appears to work well. Initially I thought that it was not working at all - but that was just an issue with the app settings that I had to change. App allows per app control - which is exactly what I was looking for. The app is quite clear and straightforward to configure / use - so props to the developers for that! Unfortunately, on my computer the app was listed as costing €1.89, which is just OK. But when I tried to purchase it using my phone the price was €2.89, which is way too much for such a simple feature. I imagine the prices is just wildly different depending on where you live - which is a pity. Ah well, I search for some other option I guess (or complain to developer of other app on why so lazy not to give users this control / option built into their own app - TradingView). Cheers!

The one thing I really wanted from this app was to allow automatic rotating 180 degrees and on two different phones (LG G6 and Samsung S21 Ultra) it doesn't allow this. There is a "portrait sensor" setting, which suggests it should work, but it simply doesn't. It can rotate 180 degrees manually so if you only need to do it occasionally it's OK. Too bad as otherwise it seems to have a refined interface and decent features.

Does not go over all apps and set up is not simple. it's stuck on the 1st step.

This app works great, it lets you lock it in any position you'd like (including upsidown, I think whatever bug the other guy encountered was fixed) you can set it to rotate automatically (just from landscape to portrait and vise versa), and you can put it in "unspecified" which just uses the same settings your phone uses; effectively turning the app off. It keeps vibrating every time it rotates though and that's a little distracting.

rotation control all app usage access permission is not inherently trusted. It's crucial to carefully evaluate the app's purpose and the developer's reputation before granting such permissions. While some apps genuinely need this access to enhance usability or support accessibility features, others might misuse it to collect sensitive data or track user activity.
