Used to be great but for many months now has been having trouble rotating upside down which was the reason I downloaded it. It would also be great if there was a choice to deactivate rotation when the screen locks, to avoid getting locked out of your phone if you forgot it rotated on one side and having to format and lose your data.

This app does what it says it does, nothing else it delivers the experience you ask in an intuitive way. It has become a default install for every Android device I own. This product is a must have for Tablets, especially if you operate them, with a Gamepad (I use an Xbox One S wireless, though Joycons and PS4 controllers work) as it let's you keep every experience forced landscape. I give this 5 stars for perfectly delivering the advertised experience and use. (Edited errors)

I'm sorry. I loved this app, when it worked years ago. Now it requires strange permissions, and yet the apps/system still do what they want with the screen. Have to click manually on the notification each time, even with the "guard" on, to rorate the screen correctly. I award 4 stars, because though it doesn't work for me at all, it has NO stupid ads like the other similar apps. Thanks for trying!

This was the only rotation app I've ever used, prior to the update it worked flawlessly. Unfortunately since the update it no longer works. I get an error that does not want to go away. It says this app needs read or write system settings. Even if I give it that access, it just stays on that screen and does nothing. I guess I must look for an alternative now and uninstall the app since it no longer works. How sad I really liked it...

This one works! And it is yet free! (Like in 'free beer'.) And it is slim. And it asks for no special permission. And, if someone is able to make an application to have so plenty features and yet to be so tiny, then it is a sign of a good, smart programming, so, I am interested for all other works of the author(s) - being them paid or not. Thanks, for the beauty.

This app is exactly what I wanted. I have an odd stand where I can only connect the charger from the top. this app allows me to have the screen rotated upside down. lately some apps have stopped working. Reddit will force it self back to the former rotation :(

Absolutely perfect. I don't understand why manual control isn't the android default, but whatever, that's fixed now that I've found this. Also, the interface - a little bar of mode icons to choose from when you drag down the settings menu - is very clean and convenient. Excellent work! (Also, doesn't need root, which was pleasantly surprising)

Wanted this specifically to make YouTube auto rotate to my preferred counter clockwise instead of clockwise, didn't work for YouTube videos, they still default to rotating clockwise with all options in this app, even when you have the entire screen set to one direction, making a YouTube video fullscreen will first put it upside down. Google is so scummy.

No longer working properly with Android 16 latest version on Pixel 9a. It was previously great and simple to use. However when forcing display into landscape one cannot access folders which disappear when tapped. Only apps not in folders can be accessed. This seems to be a conflict between Android 16, which seems to no longer facilitate landscape rotation on the home screen.

Great app. Does exactly what I need it to do on the F(x)Tec Pro 1 which is to force apps in to landscape when I have the keyboard open. It even works for Instagram & Tiktok (much to my daughter's delight). The only gripe I have is the configuration menu in the notification drawer is too intrusive. It would be better if it was called up by a button on the status bar instead. I don't need it to always be present when checking my notifications.

I downloaded this specifically to play Temple Run 2 in landscape mode and OMG! I had no idea this was even possible. The results are amazing. It's likely that Temple Run already had a Tablet friendly mode that I never knew about because I never played on a tablet. Anyway, it's showing features on the maps that I've never seen and it's SO.....BEAUTIFUL. Sometimes technology bugs me and sometimes, like this one, it amazes me. This is the coolest app I've found this year so far. Great job devs!

Used to work great (and still does on my old Samsung Tab) but with my new phone, it doesn't hold your selection. I have it set, and the phone just does whatever it wants, as others have said. Don't know why this one can't hold position as it was a good app for a long time. If they could fix it, it would be again, but sadly I'll probably have found another one that works for me by then.

Absolute GODSEND of an app. For some reason, my phone can't be rotated upside down (such that the charging port is up rather than down). And my phone screen got cracked in such a way that the bottom quarter of the screen is unintelligible, and so using this app i can make it so the upper quarter of the screen is the unintelligible part instead. Very useful for wanting to read since you read from the bottom

This app is a life-saver. A design fluke of the Galaxy S6 resulted in the heat of the fast-charging module burning out the accelerometer in my phone, and I've been using this for years as a wonderful help to rotate the screen. I use it in my tablet sometimes to to force apps to rotate (not every app is designed to work in both orientations, so not every one will work right if forced to rotate)

This app is truly useful as I have a tablet and interestingly, some games do not automatically play in landscape mode: so annoying for a disabled person like me. This app fixed the problem instantly and the various options available make it perfect for gaming. However, yes unfortunately there's a however, it either crashes or turn itself off after a few minutes playing a game. Having to stop the game every time and restart Rotation Control and the game as well every three minutes is tedious, please fix this issue and I'll give you 5 stars. My system is Android 10.

So far this does exactly what it says it will do. I have a Samsung Note 9, with a stick on pop-up grip thing on the back. I just got a wireless charging dock that only works when the phone is EXACTLY centered on it, so I had to move the pop grip thing to the very bottom of the phone. This is fine, except when it hangs in the car cradle, it otherwise hangs upside down. Rotating the display 180 degrees now lets it hang in the proper orientation, AND use the pop grip, AND use my wireless charger!! Winning! Why Samsung wouldn't just have this as part of their OS like other Android devices is a mystery, but fortunately this works great!

Perfect, Free, and Adware Free! It requires no permissions and uses Zero data! Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. At first I thought since it was old it might not work, but once I went through its settings it works perfectly. You need to enable notifications for it, the Display On Top access, and enable it in the Accessibility section of your phone. Could've saved me a few bucks that I paid for a different app if I'd tried that first. The only thing it doesn't have is a 'blacklist' for apps to not to use it.
