🛠️ Crafted by RVers, for RVers: As RVers, we've experienced the limitations of car-based GPS apps and the frustration of needing an app to work when you are offline.

Designed specifically for RVers (sorry, tent campers), we've developed an RV-specific platform for researching, trip planning, navigation, maintenance tracking, and more. The most important features of our app, our campground directory, and map plus the GPS’ turn-by-turn directions function offline in remote locations with no internet.

🚍 Customized RV GPS Navigation and Safe Routes: Our GPS navigation, customized for your RV's height, length, and weight, ensures you avoid low clearances, hazardous mountain passes, and inappropriate guidance that comes from using car-based GPS services. Enjoy turn-by-turn, offline directions, voice navigation, lane guidance, and real-time traffic alerts.

🏕️ The Unrivaled Authority in RV Park Directories: For decades, we have been the go-to directory for RVers. Explore every RV campground, RV park, and RV resort, easily accessible through our intuitive map-based interface. With over ten million data points derived from firsthand insights from fellow RV travelers, we provide you with the highest quality data to ensure you are informed during your travels.

Our specialized RV park database offers in-depth information relevant to RVers, such as campground amenities, internet speeds for gauging cellular coverage, feedback on sewer and water connections, lot spacing, tow vehicle parking, etc.

Confidently navigate knowing you have access to world-class data crowdsourced by verified RVers. Gain insights, such as things to do, places to eat, and other advice, from fellow RVers who've journeyed there before you.

Our RV-focused filters simplify the process of finding well-rated, popular RV campgrounds. You can search by type (National Parks, KOAs, BLM, etc.) and RV discount (Good Sam, Passport America, AAA).

💡 Insider RV Tips from Fellow RVers: Take advantage of RV tips offered by other RVers, covering topics like RV area attractions, top dining options, and more, accessible from any RV campground's detail page.

🗺️ Pro members have access to our celebrated trip planner, RV LIFE Trip Wizard. Plan your itinerary from any browser, then easily access your trips from our app, ensuring safe navigation to your next destination. The trip planner operates in a browser, facilitating convenient planning from your laptop, tablet, or phone.

💰 Save More with RV LIFE Pro: Turn your phone into a reliable, RV-safe GPS and save money by upgrading instead of purchasing an expensive RV GPS device, complete with offline, turn-by-turn navigation.

We're fortunate to boast over 20,000 five-star reviews from satisfied RVers who trust RV LIFE to guide their journeys. 'We use this app for everything! Love the reviews and the opportunity to learn from other campers. We've not been disappointed when finding campsites on the road. Easy to use.' - Teachr1990

Our biggest achievement isn't that major media outlets like the Washington Post, BBC, Forbes, and USA Today have sung our praises. Our real badge of honor comes from the feedback of our fellow RVers. RV LIFE is frequently featured on RV blogs and YouTube channels. The respect and trust we've earned from the RV community and the media alike—that's our north star. Let's hit the road together.

Horrible Navigation! I like the planning portion of the app and was looking forward to using it. I planned a couple of simple trips, but the navigation is rudimentary and position on the map lags behind your actual position. Sent me on a route that was 43 minutes, when Google maps route was 20 minutes and was very RV safe... tried another same thing sent me on some weird routing when I know exactly how to go via Google maps.... im not even going to try until you get this right.

Hi, the new update won't go past three help screens when you select Trip. It will not actually load a trip as the help screens will not close. Frustrating. Update. After login and out several times. The tool functioned as expected. It updated while driving and loaded trips correctly. Was not liking this tool at first, but since new update and logging out and back in, really liking the tool.

I was hoping that it had improved, but it seems worse than the first time I tried it. I added my filters, and tried checking it out on parks one state over. parks that had showed up the first time, didn't show this time. I will admit, least it did crash . but having to pay for big rig information is not kosher. there are better apps available. RV parky is one of them and is now my go to review site. Keep trying and it may get better.

It is a good navigating system. We used it prior, but at the time it was not realtime, so I still had to use Google Maps for navigating. We are trying again. Although phone settings volume is turned up high, and sound is enabled, DND is off. In app: Voice Navigation: yes Voice volume: loud I still have no audible navigation directions. Shouldn't it have audio? Fyi: I DO have audio on Google Maps.

It insists on updating downloaded maps almost every time I start it (it's great to keep updated, but this is ridiculous). It keeps losing my integration with RVTripWizard (i need to sign out and sign in). The app had promise but I'm sorry I paid for premium access. Update (8/2) The latest release fixes the basic problem with my subscription. How can we report filtering problems - the RPI filter is wrong and at least one park is completely missing.

Just keeps getting worse. We have been using this app for three years and in the last year it has become impossible to use the gps without a separate one running at the same time and crossing our fingers to hope that we won't end up on a bad road. I feel like it was much more reliable three years ago. We need in app route changing options for when roads are closed. We need data to explain WHY route choices are being made: tolls, traffic, bridges, low underpass. We need to be able to adjust OTF

Nice way to find places to camp curtailed to what your looking for on the map feature. You can also click favorites and save them for future easy reference. Overall a nice app and is helpful! Please fix the glitch in favorites where you cant scroll thru your list of favorites. I don't get it, What am I doing wrong? I can only view approx 6 at a time and can't scroll thru to others.

If you want to manage your trip it just takes you to the page on a web browser anyway so really no need for the app. And the browser page is useless on my phone. What a bust. Prob gonna cancel before my 7 day trial is over. As far as the rv life subscription in general (not jist the app), there are some good features but it has a lot to be desired. It's just a network of sites so it doesn't really seam to be a 1 stop shop (or trip planner). Need more work on filtering & narrowing choices.

This app is a PAIN!!! Firstly, to sign up.. it's easier and quicker to go through the process of buying a house. Then.. the app more often is dysfunctional than works. I find it completely user unfriendly. Unless you give this app complete permission to your entire life.. down to your address and constant location, it won't let you do basic things. I'm uninstalling it. What a fail.

It can show a Radius so you can determine driving distance. It has links to websites of potential campsites. You can add notes for each trip. The route is intended to be RV safe for your particular RV (you enter specifics and each route uses that info). However.... road names on your route are almost impossible to read. State lines are all pretty much invisible. I need Google Maps to try and verify what roads my Route takes me. These seem like easy fixes but has never been improved sufficiently.

First of all, it doesn't know where I am. I'm just outside Seattle and it thinks I'm in Dallas. So I manually enter my actual location, and I put in a test destination just to see how this works, and it gives me an ad for their premium service. Okay, fine, it's an ad supported app I get it. I decline the 7-Day free trial and instead of proceeding to the routing, it returns me to the previous menu. Repeatedly. This app won't work unless you choose their premium service. Zero stars.

The app plots good routes. Haven't had a problem yet. My only issue is the developers seem to think RV drivers are idiots and need to be told continuously to 'follow the road's or 'join the highway's. Seems self evident to me. Also, I don't need to be reminded every quarter mile that the turn is coming up. Otherwise, it's a great app.

A well thought out and highly functional app for RV trip planning. Unfortunately the "routing engine" has a major flaw - it lacks knowledge of key travel impacting road conditions such as construction areas and, more importantly, road closures. We were recently surprised by the closure of CA-150. The road has been closed since February, but as of May 5, "Trip Wizard" is still ignorant of this closure and will route one right into it.

Not worth the subscription. First thing I did on the 7 day trial was pull in a route where I know for a fact that clearance is an issue. This route took me straight through a one lane impassible low clearance RR tunnel. Had I not known better and relied on this app we would have been in serious trouble with no way to turn around. Canceled my subscription immediately. Don't waste your money!!!

Hard to use and talks at super speed. Trying to simply navigate to a known address took me in circles, over and over again. This app also took me to a website to setup a trip. Signed up for free trail and it kept wanting me to sign up again! The most absolutely annoying part is the voice navigation it is so fast that you can't understand it. On a positive note, the directions were adequate.

Updated review after many (more) trips & thousands of miles: Trip planning to find RV-safe routes and places is excellent. While driving, app is improved but still needs work: -No satellite view while driving. This helps identify locations while in unfamiliar areas. - Driving view shows too much road behind me. I really need to see more ahead-view to anticipate navigating. - Add Harvest Host locations, please. There's too many dated program affiliates that aren't used anymore.

The RV Life app took me to a web browser. 🤣If I had wanted to use a browser I would have skipped the app. We did the 7 day free trial and thought it would be fun since the app is all over YouTube. Wrong. The learning curve is too steep and doesn't need to be. What a way to ruin a trip. For now the simple map that connects my phone to my car is good for us. Save your money. You can pre plan your trip with Google maps. Or use other apps that are easy. 😂 #sendmargaritas

Absolutely the worst app I've ever seen. Beginning with uh... adding a destination! Or setting your start date different from the current date! The software let's you pick a date but refuses to use it. And a simple add a stop button on the trip planner screen?! Is that really so difficult? And what of a trip that doesn't require a camping destination. You know, just town to town to make sure a pass is clear or rv navigable? Did somebody actually get paid real money to write this garbage?!

Overall, I have found RV Life to be the best trip planning Website/App. Didn't use the GPS until recently when Android Auto was added. I have been using it on current trip. It's routes so far have matched exactly to my Garmin RV GPS. The app GPS saves time with current trip readily available. There are a few features I miss from Google maps. 1. Satellite view 2. Traffic lights shown on map 3. Doesn't show which lane to be in as well. 4. No up ahead on route.

Great application suite. Too may features to mention. Here are our big 2: 1. Trip Wizard is excellent. Really streamlines the planning process and helps choose the best locations. 2. Navigation is good. Helps avoid areas not suited for your particular rig and is simple to operate. If the Navigation feature was a bit more robust, I would give the app a 5 star review. Couple of basic things like showing both vehicle speed and speed limit, showing direction or at least North and delays.
