RxLocal is an easy-to-use app that allows pharmacy customers to manage their entire family’s prescriptions, communicate with the pharmacy via secure messages, order refills, set medication reminders, and find pharmacy location information.
Creating an account is easy. Just enter your last name and date of birth, along with any existing prescription number. Then, simply add all of your family members to your account for quick and easy access to all of their prescriptions.

RxLocal is a free app for Android users. There is no charge to download or use the app.

Unfortunately it doesn't update, for example: you requested a refill, it takes forever to show it's in progress, then it continues to say in progress. Wont tell you if it's ready or not ready etc. Also, some meds aren't even showing up, is that the pharmacys fault or the app?? A bit generic in the visual aspect. And seems to be slow running. Very convenient though, just needs work.

When I first installed the app, I didn't have any problems with it. Now, I'm unable to send messages through the app to my pharmacy. Under their advice, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Now, the app won't open at all. Please fix this issue, quickly! 9.3.2020 *New Review* The app updated on 8.26.2020 and I am still having the same issue. When I try to open the app, it doesn't open and keeps giving the error message that the app keeps closing. I won't keep reinstalling. FRUSTRATING!!

Very convenient and easy to use. Highly recommend. UPDATED REVIEW 2/1/22 I am disappointed that the app doesn't update info in a timely manner. UPDATE 8/16/23 Won't open. It keeps telling me there is a bug and to reinstall after bug has been fixed. This app is VERY unreliable and it needs to be fixed once and for all. If it wasn't for the fact that I have no other options, I'd never use it again. FIX IT

It is so disgusting recently with the new computer system set up. I tried to enroll. It said I had the wrong info, even though I put in exactly what they ask for. Tried 2 days later, put in info one time & it failed & and said I had tried "too" many times. The new system is going to cause someone one day a detrimental lost. It is stressful, time consuming, fails 75% of the time. I counted, on one app, 150 one star rating, gave up stopped counting. Disgusted, will just uninstall. Stressful!

Very glitchy and unreliable. The concept behind the app is great; the execution not so much. Full of unnecessary filter pages like the one telling me on the next page is where I'll pick which medications I want to refill after I select refill my medications. The most annoying thing though is that you can't choose the app by backing out of it like every other app on my phone. I have to force close it every time because it has no code or exit option. Need a lot of work!

A few aspects of this app need work. My notifications to remind me to take my meds do not make a sound. Notifications are enabled, but still no sound. Also, when I log out of the app, it erases my reminders. I like that I can request refills through the app, and message the pharmacy instead of having to call them. When requesting, it asks how you want to pick up and when. My pharmacy delivers, and it doesn't give you that option. I have to send a note for delivery.

Clunky, and missing critical information. Every time I use it I have to sign in. That includes if I'm exchanging messages with the pharmacy and leave the app for any reason. When my medication is shipped, it doesn't give the tracking number or a date. I have to ask for that from the pharmacy in the messages. The pop-ups show up every time I log in too. So I have to skip the recommendations to add more information to my account or to get a tutorial every single time. I'm out of characters.

I tried logging on and told me I needed a validation code so I had them send me one. When I entered that code it said the code I entered was not valid. This happened several times so I uninstalled it. When I tried to reinstall it I kept getting a message that I would have to try later because it had a bug. Very frustrating!! I tried again after the page said improvements were made and still can't get on!!

I really think you need to check your system and both the app and your website, even the hospital website. All are behaving odd, patients med information, the times, even the website addresses are different. Then either it acts like it's loading, but never does, I get a blank screen, and the very 1st time I logged into the website, it said I was locked out for too many attempts. I had not logged in via web, and couldn't even get to the log in page via the app. Too many security breaches recent

Typically, this app works fine. I noticed something seemed odd when my medication reminder didn't show up. Of course, trying to open the app didn't work. The app logged me out, said I needed to create a new password, then said all my prescriptions were out of date, then crashed. Deleting & reinstalling didn't help. Now, it crashes upon trying to open. I have to refill meds over the phone or in person now. Hopefully, the bug will be fixed soon.

I didn't have any issues at all from when I first installed it 4 years ago. Now all the sudden since the mid to end of January beginning of February it has been nothing but issues and it logged me out and when I go forgot password it tells me enter the email and I do then it says sending verification number to phone on file and I haven't received anything yet. This was the only way to tell when I had upcoming refills for both me and my spouse.

Worked well for a few months, but for over a month now I cannot log in. It logged me out, will not accept my password. It won't accept the validation code It sends to change the password. The app is now useless and blocks access to my pharmacy. I re-installed to see if it would help, but nothing. It would have full stars if it worked again.

This app doesn't work. I first downloaded the app about a year ago and worked fine with my pharmacy. I went to renew a prescription a few weeks ago, and it stopped working. I told the pharmacy about it, and they have no control over the app. I've tried to reach out to the app creator with no luck there either. I've uninstalled the app several times and reinstalled it with hopes that the creator fixed their bug issues. No luck their either.

This is one of the worst apps I've ever used! I've put up with this ported from iOS POS app for a couple of years. Then it stopped letting me log in, so I tapped "forgot password" but it said "downloading account info" and wouldn't load. So I deleted it, reinstalled it, and now it won't start. A white screen appears, then it dies. Worthless doesn't begin to express my frustration. Before I reinstalled it, it got far enough in to tell me I have a note from the pharmacy. I Need That Note!

Rather convenient, easy to use, hassle-free mobile app for local pharmacy refills. Not sure if the message system is supported by all pharmacies, or if my pharmacy just doesn't have the ability to receive my messages. Main issue is the app occasionally forgets my info, and for a while I have to refill by phone. Despite everything I've tried, nothing solves this issue. Hence, -1* for unreliability. Think that's fair. Other reviews here are vicious.

Same issue as Clarence in previous review had. Worked great then end of last year it just stopped. Try to open the app & it's a white screen, nothing happens. Pharmacy tried to reach out for help. I messaged the place it directed me. Tried several times of the last several months to reinstall in holes it would work .... and I get nothing. 😠 Really loved being able to get refills done etc on the app.

Can I rate it less than 1? I switched to this app a few months ago because my pharmacy made us. I used it once, it worked great. Now it won't let me login and when I do "I forgot my password" it tells me my email doesn't exist with them. So I reregistered but didn't finish adding my scripts. So today I tried to log back in. Same issue as yesterday. I don't exist in their system. This app is 100% useless! And there isn't a way to message the company or call them that I have found. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!

When it works, it is great! It randomly started logging me out, then telling me I'm using the wrong email or password when I try to log back in. I then click forgot password and it would send me an email for the code. This time, it won't send the email for me to reset my dang password AGAIN! I've tried several times, and it won't let me do it. I'm using the correct email and password because I took a screenshot of it when I did it. Please fix this. All 4 of us use the app on my phone.

This app refuses to let me sign in. It worked for awhile but now says that the services are unavailable and to try again later. But I've waited 1 day tried again and same message. Also, if you don't go to the app for more then a few days it makes you sign up again and enter if you want a code or recognition options again. This app really needs some fixes please!! It's very frustrating!!

I gave this two stars only because it used to work well. 've had this app for about 6 months and it was efficient, easy and worked great. A few days ago it suddenly stopped recognizing my account info and wouldn't let me log in (It wasn't the first time but always resolved itself quickly). I reinstalled it and upon opening it goes to a white screen and freezes. I've done the reinstallation several times and checked my phone settings with no success.
