All messages are always fully E2EE (end to end encrypted) with a new key using advanced proven elliptical curve end-to-end encryption. SafeSwiss® never has access to any of your messages or your contact list.
No phone number, email address, or ID is required to register with

Hello. After your update and answer i installed the app again and i confirm nothing changed from my last review. Pin protection and self destructing mesages are not working.

Love the email account addition guys, especially emailing a account that isn't on safeswiss.. once you get video call working this app is the app to have.

Nice app Guys Safeswiss secure Messenger could reign supreme if you had a channel Some great feature's that you just don't see. Really like the push to delete and no phone number or email required,Highly recommended and well worth a try

Love it but some futures dose not work like i try to add contacts it keeps saying error invaild username failed that needs to be fix will not let me create a group due to the contacts dose not work that needs to be fix also even the echo test calling futures dose not work aslo that needs to be fix also please fix all bugs glitch and update the app so all the fuctions work right now i give 2 stars due to the is unsable to use you cant do nothing beacuse the app dose work fully.

Very secure, but also doesn't have all the features one might expect just yet. If developers work towards making this feature rich, and more stable, I think this has the potential to reign supreme.

Well if that's the case - then why don't you answer your support enquiries emails !!!!!! I wouldn't trust what you say and this is the only place I actually can receive a response ! Because sending you emails does not work and my 1 star rating stands as is.

My review is towards the email safeswiss. I really need to login bad. Its been since may since my last login to my safeswiss email and it keeps saying no server connected. Expired ssl cents? What does this mean? When will it let me log back into my email account? What is being done about this?

Suprisingly, ... started the report in the middle... 'More users using unencrypted.' Review respondee fired? Thank you-type replies?? * *Encrypt lock is ONLY if you pin OR no BTN, looks same, small, does not stay set... DEFAULT SHOULD BE encrypt Safe??-Swiss, idjets! Users would encrypt duh! LACKS addt encrypt settings, news, tutorials AND a BIG LOCK BUTTON. Trust me! SafeEmail, failed, donations. Can't get into your own email system, it failed. Right?!? Spy, cops? Thumbs sideways?

I should have been more clear. I cannot volume add already existing contacts on my phone. I tried "synchronizing contacts" and it did not populate your app with my contacts albeit I gave it access when the app asked me.

Downloaded yesterday and have not been able to add contacts because of a server error. Have tried on two different networks and two devices. Emailed support - no reply. Very disappointing.

misreading, I had the impression this would encrypt sms and mms messages but it doesn't do that at all. this app is useless without the app installed on your contacts device/phone. If I want another messaging app to invite contacts to, a safeand secure one at that, I wouldn't invite them to see Microsoft owned safeSwiss instead I would have them use either telegram or tok(tox) but I was looking for seamless end to end encrypted sms text messages but apparently no app like that exists.

Needs a workaround for message delivery if you don't want google involved. Needs an option to deliver messages in a timely manner without google cloud messaging or firebase cloud messaging. Also, not sure why someone is saying they are owned by Microsoft-any proof? Also, suggesting telegram over this, absolutely stupid. Telegram requires a phone number to sign up, this doesn't. Also, research before you get into telegram-not too secure/great

This is years away from being as reliable, robust, and secure as Wire messenger. Try to send a message, it crashes. Crashes on both on Windows and Android. Also, NO DARK MODE?! We should be able to expect better than that from something that was bought by microsoft (maybe they bought it just to stunt it's progress so it doesn't compete with Skype?). Also no "Swiss" privacy here! their privacy statement links are on Microsoft's site! Great concept but failed execution.

Despite a recent update there are problems with using this app. The biggest problem, despite how one sets their notification permissions, the app will not notify you of messages received. Also, when u get a phone call. Your only chance is to set a ringtone u recognize, then quickly unlock your phone, open the app, then open the calls page to be able to answer the call. Otherwise your phone sits there ringing and u can't determine how to answer the call. IOs users can't install the app, it fails
