Safety Beacon

Safety Beacon is the personal safety app that helps you, your friends and family stay safe at the touch of a button, wherever you go. It does this by making a lot of noise with a Siren, sending a message to your friends saying you need assistance and providing them with your location. There is also a button which will both sound the siren and send out the text messages to your friends in one go. Finally, it can speed dial your friends without leaving the app, just in case you need to speak to them.

LOCATION SERVICES
To provide your location when seeking assistance you will need to allow the app to access your location when running in the background.

BATTERY
Continued use of location services running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. This App has been designed to minimise the impact on your battery life and in most cases will be unnoticeable, but results may vary based on network conditions and usage.
