I am not unhappy. People hear me very often poorly. I would like the dial pad to recognize names from the address book, the letters below the numbers make no sense without this ability. I am not unhappy, because I can park my number cheaply and in the rare cases the connection is good enough, it saves me money for longer talks.

App won't allow any inbound nor outbound phone calls. Whenever you try to make a call you will have a bot telling you that you cannot make any calls and have to get verified and that the letter for verification purposes is already in your mailbox. It is telling me this for months now. They charged me the amount for for the plus version subscription (€4.99 / $5.49) but won't let me make any calls nor receive any. Messaged support 4 times. They won't respond for any follow up after ticket email

I have installed the application and waiting for the verification code since 12 days even I have 2 times write the mail which you already mentioned in the comments but still not worth it. Like you people don't want to improve service. Last I have tried with logout but then it doesn't allow me to login says invalid details. Even these all issues I have clearly mentioned in Mail but still they haven't replied.

Unfortunately I can not recommend satellite as phone solution for businesses. Too often the other person can't hear you or the line crashes after a few minutes. We lost several new customers due to that issue. If you want to use the app only for personal matters, it might be worth a try, e.g. when you are traveling.

I'm using Satellite on my iPhone since being available and was eagerly waiting for the Android version. Great app, a good and mostly free option for telephony if you have a good data connection. Even better - if you have a Satellite account and a phone number you may use it on all your devices (iPhone, Android) and they ring simultaneously if you are called.

I can't recommend this app at all. I use it quite a lot for my job and the app constantly crashes, doesn't open, is WAY to slow etc. The audio itself is mostly okay, but other than that, it's not a good app (And yes, I've redownloaded, closed etc the app multiple times). Every call I make I have to fear that it might crash and not open again for several minutes.

The app is the best out there in market for international calls. You will be getting your own number and 100mins free every month. People who doesn't like long talks thus is the best for them. I am using the premium version. Monthly only 4.99 euros for unlimited calls. I don't think there is any other services that offers this benefits. I gave 4 stars because the quality sometimes falls and even when the other person hangs up it doesn't hang up. It continues to count minutes.

there's connectivity issues like can't hear the person on the other end or vice versa. there's drop outs but these issues are few and far between. plus it's not a big deal especially if you're using the app Free of charge! currently living outside of my home country and use the satellite app to call home a few times a month for free!! when I have a few extra bucks to spare I pay for the month to get unlimited calls outside this country to my home country!!! awesome app! thanks for the calls!

Not a great app with a lot of flaws. Sound quality often poor, people having difficulties to hear me, missed calls without that the phone ever rang, missed calls are not retrievable sometimes, and other technical issues. So lately I even have a bunch of incoming calls that the app doesn't manage to take, "something went wrong". Seriously, a VOIP app is unable to process incoming calls?!? In all honestly, if I didn't use this number for numerous clients already I would switch to another service.

All right; The great thing: it's free and I can be called without having to worry about roaming costs. I can hear people quite well. The one thing that completely deters me from spending money in this app: I'm getting a lot of complaints about chopped and generally bad call quality from others. Not sure if it is because I use the speaker function regularly. Happens regardless of land line or mobile connection. Normal calls or messengers work without issue. This happens on my OnePlus 6.

Call Quality became horrible over the last few months to a point the app is straight unusable. Cracking noises and after 5 minutes my call partner cannot hear me anymore. Using the latest version on Android with the possibly best internet connection you can buy for your home. I was using Satellite daily since it was released as it was a great alternative for a much better price to call friends and clients in Europe. Not anymore.

Customer service very slow to respond. Password reset button leads to error page. Very unsatisfactory. P.S.: Funnily, response to comments here are responded to much more quickly than the underlying customer service query which still remains unanswered to this day.

Stopped supporting backups.... Also Calls now get missed even though app is allowed running in background.... latest updates broke the app (tested on 5 phones!) Still no sms support (whatsapp/signal pins)

I thought I could get a new phone number immediately, installed the app, went through the process only to learn at the end, they will send me a letter before I can use it. Would prefer to know about this delay up front

Wow, did my first outgoing call just now. Great quality of signal, like landline. And I like the free minutes to save on some special calls (ie. mobile calls into another country). Thanks for this great app and service, keep the good work going! ❤️ I miss SMS and number blocking, tnx!
