Thought this was going to be a decent app, but after I spent twenty minutes editing and getting my video ready, almost about to save it. A button pops up and says "sorry, only pro users can make a video over 1:30." I can't believe they didn't say that before I went through all the trouble. It was inconsiderate and a waste of my time. I have no need for a membership, I only wanted to create this tribute video, that was important to me. Overall just a disappoint

I searched a long time for a video/picture slideshow app and finally found Scoompa. I was happy to find out it does all of it's work OFFLINE on my phone - no need for an internet connection. I was even happier to find out is saved everything locally - not on a server elsewhere to be downloaded atm or later on. I was very pleased with the functionality and navigation of the menus/options. I added music and voice recordings easily and was blown away by the number of transition options. Worth it!

Whenever I want to create slideshows this is my go-to app. I pay the month's price about three times a year when I want to create slideshow videos. It is the best app you can put your own music on there you can make the videos as long as you want to make them I use them often I highly recommend!!

Took many apps and sites to find one that would allow me to make a slideshow free! All I wanted to do was make slideshow for digital frame without paying arm and leg. This awesome app allowed me to do this and lots of other things as well. Great app definitely recommend.

Read carefully: I use this every day. Every tool I need comes with the app, and I have not found better despite looking. But I don't get much response from devs. I'd really like to be able to adjust sticker text color and size while it is on top of the image/video. I also hope that I can pick all video options before composition because I need to turn off watermark and change from small/hq/standard size after it's made then wait for it to be made again.

I downloaded it for a black and white photo to transition to a colored photo for a gender reveal and I was very happy with it. Just not pleased that I couldn't figure out how to resize text over picture and couldn't control time text spent on screen. Easiest app I've found yet to get what I want! Very, very pleased!

I have a paid for the pro version and downloaded a whole lot of pics and vids from my recent holiday from google photos to use for my slideshow. Less than half of them were there and all the ones that were there were not in the order that I chose them in. That meant that I have to manually go through each pic and put them in order my self which is very time consuming. Dossapointing.

On the plus side, this is intuitive to use and allows me to select photos from specific folders, add my own music, and time the slideshow to match the length of the track. The usual lack of even a basic tutorial I'll overlook as the app is self explanatory even for a novice. But this app doesn't do one basic thing: it doesn't understand we may wish to combine photos of different aspect ratios into a single slideshow, with the entire photo left intact. Borders are fine. Missing heads ain't!✌

It's great so far. Only issue I have is that my photos when selecting has automatically shuffled, so are randomly sorted. Is there any way of "unshuffling" photo order as otherwise I have to manually sort photos which I can't do due to the amount of photos I will have to go through. Thank you... edit: Thanks for the response. I've tried it, still all random.

I've been using Scoomba for many years. I always recommend it.. The only downfall is that recently my phone was extremely full.I have a Samsung S23 which has a capacity of 512GB Long story short, after removing all my Photos etc 🥴 the problem was still not solved..I then saw that the storage problem was at the Apps.I noticed that Scoomba was using 349GB of memory!!! Why?? After deleting the app & re-installing it, it is now fine again..but this is Troublesome to me..how could this happen & Why?

after purchasing the 4.99 for unlimited access, it does not save my video as i made it and that i previewed correctly in scoompa. once it is saved, it significantly cuts off clips throughout my video, and also plays them in reg speed, and slow motion, when i set for them to play in fast motion. very disapppinted for something asking me to pay $5. money down the drain.

The best slideshow maker! Fantastic options for creating a nice personalized video! The only issue... when my subscription expired and I found out it did, I went to renew, and all my previous slide shows were all removed. I worked very hard on them and was devastated that they were gone. Scoompa should send you emails/text messages advising you that you are up for renewal, and if you don’t renew by a designated time frame, you WILL lose your stuff. That's when I will give them their 5th star.

I have used Animoto for years but when I couldnt add video clips to my creations without paying double the membership fee I looked at other options. I had used Scoompa before for simple photo videos and it is a great little app! I just purchased the annual membership to get all the features and created one amazing video!!! Cant wait to make many, many more! Thank you!!!

I love using Scoompa!! ..Its a terrific slideshow tool. Only problem I have is that the background music options are a bit too loud, and drowns out your voice when you're speaking over it. And you can't adjust the volume up or down. But if you don't require any music for your slideshow project, Scoompa is fantastic in every other way!! ..Very impressed!

I have searched through I bet 20 slideshow apps at least and this is by far the best one! I got the free 7 day trial to see if I liked it before I paid any money to keep all the features. I love it! You can pick your own music. No limit on pictures you can use. You can adjust how long certain pictures show. The effects are amazing and big variety. You can change it even after you have downloaded it. Several other great qualities too! Definitely worth a try and worth the money if you keep it!

Very good ! Even the free trial version is unlimited in time and quite capable ! With the intuitive controls it's easy to use. But the butt side is the lack of ability to horizontallly level up the top of the pictures/fotos when manually adjusting the picture to fit the "framing". I hope you can address this problem and ship me for free your modified pro version. Good luck ! And stay healthy and wise as before ! )))

I never give 5 stars. BUT they're app is great, I use it for birthdays, anniversaries, etc. Even though time may be limited, I like that I can add however many pictures I want. I like that I've been able to go back and edit or add music without having to redo the whole project. I'm learning as I go, but find Scoompa pretty easy to navigate.
