Great banking app. My only problem is, sometimes we try to add a recipient with all the right information and it keeps neglecting to add those recipients. Then after a few failed attempt, the app becomes useless and unresponsive. I know it's probably a security protocol but please fix this problem and give us a way to bypass it by confirming our identity.

This app is awesome and user friendly. However, I think sign out should be on the home page. The addition of fingerprint is excellent for an extra layer of security which is mandatory to edit details. However ??? I will get back to this matter.

Scotia apl lock me out after saving my info so i wouldn't have have to go through the drama. Reset my user name and password and still can't get in. Now my on line app is disabled. What's the purpose of an online app if you going to save your infor that you have been using all along then its going to tell you that your info is wrong!!!!???

Subpar at best The app keep locking me out sayingy password or username is wrong, I go through the process of checking my username and updating my password only for it to work once then goes back to lockinge out. I must have changed my password at least 10 times in the last week. I even called their customer care and nothing. Currently locked out after again changing my password after it wouldn't take the password created yesterday and now the new password isn't working either.

The app takes too long to get logged into, compared to the NCB App that gives well over 50٪ less spooling time. Sometimes it has me wondering if I have enough data to log in, only for me to try the NCB App which logs in without hesitation. Needs to be fixed. Quite frustrating.

The App being great from ... I start using it...but from the last update it being a bit of a problem.. can't get to check or review my transactions...each time I click on an account it automatically stop wor king and close the app...which it pretty annoying.... you need to fix that asap.

Had to change my review since the last update , app is slow to login and on apple requires me to close the app and retry login or it stays in a endless red screen with no options but to restart the app , please add support for multiple devices authentication as well i use the app on android and Apple, once i set face ID to authenticate it removes biometric on android and viceversa.

I am trying to add an account because I am not allowed to do transfers anymore from my Senior Account. My account is at Browns Town, Jamaica. I live in Trinidad. The App does not give an option to select territory eg Trinidad, Jamaica, Barbados etc. I am getting your App saying the personal information does not match your records, so I am not allowed to continue. This is very frustrating as I am trying to transfer some funds from my Ja Acct to someone. I spent in all about 5 hours on this today

The app first opens to the front page where I see my balances. But when I select an account to see its transaction details, the app stops work. I uninstall and then re-install several times but the same thing. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S8+. UPDATE: So I uninstall and re-install and the app still crashes when I try to view transaction details. Woe is me. UPDATE: The scotiabank mobile app now works very well, and as it should, on my phone. I upgraded my rating to 5-STARS. Now, I am very happy.

It would be helpful if the phone number format was more diverse. I do not have a jamaican phone number anymore as I spend a lot of time outside of the country but the app doesn't allow you to add other country formats. The same could be adjusted in your banks...not just the app. App notifications via sms/whatsapp is of no use if my phone number isn't accepted by the app and/or bank.

Great app but like all apps there is a slight bug. Everytime the app needs updating I am unable to use it until I update, what if I don't have enough space on my device to do so, I would have to end up using via the internet when the app is for this very purpose. I love it either way and that is the only thing I have an issue with so far.

I previously gave this app two stars because it didn't push notifications to my phone which is important to me for my credit cards. I'm happy that's now been resolved. I'd like to see the app reflecting in-app credit card payments (IE transfers of cash to the credit card) immediately as an updated balance owed without having to look at the currently available balance and do my own calculations. If it leaves my debit account, it should reflect on my credit card account the same time.

Compared to other app, this change has been phenomenal! Faster, safer, even prettier. Easier to use too. Edit: with latest updates it's getting worse. Fingerprint doesn't work, logs out por no reason, takes too long to make payments and have to enter a code Everytime I use it.

Used to work fine, but now, when I try to login I'm getting a notification to update to the latest version. When I click the "update now button" it takes me to Google play store to open the app that's already installed. When I click "open", it takes me right back to the screen with that new update notification. I unistalled and reinstalled it and the same issue cycles over again.

This app works if and when it wants to. It literally just started accepting the fingerprint scan and now I can't access it because it needs to be updated yet there is no update available in Play store. Talk about banking on the go Scotia. Great job. The only reason I rated the app a whole 2 is because I actually got through with some transactions when it was working, but this is way too much of a hassle.

I've been using the app for years and I must say it is way easier to use compared to other banking apps that I have. Occasionally you have a few issues and the screenshot policy is understandable though I would love to be able to do it. Scotia overall though has way too many issues but the app I can work with-better than SOME of their customer service reps.

It's a decent looking app and easy to use. I however have 2 suggestions: 1) an option to have push notifications for when a deposit has been made to my account (so that I know when my salary has been deposited instead of constantly having to check) 2) an in app live-chat feature to be able to chat with an agent and get answers/resolve issues.

Overall look and feel of the application is good. The flow from screen to screen is smooth and the features are easily distinguishable. Only key feature I wish was there was the ability to see pending transactions instead of seeing the cumulative totals. Might want to add that as a tab under each account but thats the only real caveat to the app. Can't really do any real authentication via small charge unless you note the pending total associated with your account.

Once a charge has been posted, it should be deleted from "Pending" immediately than shown in "Pending" and "Posted" at the same time. If you are providing up.to date information, then ALL information shouls be up to date. Update - 10082021 The app refused to open when I was in a rush to obtain info on my account as I was FORCED to update the app - most annoying!!! I tried to update, it refused to update so I am UNINSTALLING and REINSTALL later while I use my computer to access my account

Looking great so far! Finally we get an app! We've been tortured with that old webpage container for way too long! Thanks for making app private so previews don't show in Recents. Hopefully you'll iron out the bugs quickly. e.g. app notifications not working. That 'Open account' button is in the wrong place. Keeps getting unintentionally tapped.
