Very fun game. Extremely frustrated with multiple technical issues. Example... Today is last day of event and game decided needs an update. Have tried all day to update with no success. Therefore, can't complete last level of treasure chest for items made or bought. Can't complete ship exploration of map with big treasures so can't complete the last update of the birthday ship. And on and on. Gems are not easy to obtain unless you spend real $$$ and l have lost hundreds from tech issues.

Eh, had the game for only a few hours and it's already at a point where you click on something, close the game, come back in a few hours, rinse and repeat. the game has potential to be a fun time sink, but when it takes a few hours to sail your ships off to get resources and the upgrade costs are more than your ships can haul, it's just not very fun. I don't want a game where on day 1 I'm already waiting hours to make my next moves and day 2 and can tell I'm not going anywhere until day 30.

I really like this game. I can open it, set things up, and then leave it alone for an hour or two without missing anything. It's a bit hand-holdy for the first hour of gameplay, which I don't like, but once that stops it's smooth sailing (ha!). There are no forced ads, and so far I'm getting enough free gems to buy special ships now and then, but not enough to use the quick build on everything, which is fine with me! I particularly like that I can have it double check before spending gems.

Really enjoyed the game, bought monthly event passes, will not spend anymore money on this game. They added a collect all button and then monitized its use. This is a line too far, i understand the need to monitize the game to keep up with costs but this is too far. The Collect All feature should just be a nice feature of the game, not something that has to be a part of a $19.99 monthly subscription.

It's one of my 2 favorite all time games. There's a lot to do, tons of missions, a good progression & reward system. Plus I don't feel the need to spend real money all the time. I hope they keep adding to this game and supporting it. Oh, you can sign in to the games website and play your saved game thorough the browser which looks nice on PC hooked up to 50" TV. Great game.

This started out a great game, but recent changes ruined it. I agree with recent reviews that say this is now a pay-to-win grind. The new "chevron" upgrades eliminated any sense of accomplishment from months of work to maximize your fleet. They also added a pointless "expedition" map-search game-within-a-game completely unrelated to the main game or its purpose. Many players disliked it and chose to ignore it, so instead of listening to player feedback they now forced it on everyone: the only way to fully maximize your fleet is to endlessly play this map-search game to find these "chevrons", at the expense of the more mainstream features of the game. The problem: even slow progression means you'll acquire ships MUCH faster than you can get chevrons to upgrade them, so your fleet will be forever unfinished. If I wanted to play a map-search game, I would have installed a map-search game. Maybe you should offer that game on its own, instead of forcing it on people that wanted to play a strategy-simulation game that is now ruined.

fun game, but my downside is that it's way to hard to gather stones, fish, wood, and iron. Also it wood be cool if you could name your ships and we need a night time mode to. An excellent game overall it's just to hard to upgrade ships because it's hard to build up enough supplies. I love a challenge but it's a bit to much work to upgrade. Need more of a payoff on sending your ships to places, especially on long runs. Thanks for making a great game overall

After just a week of playing, I am addicted! Only have a few complaints - first one is the time voyages take. At lower levels, it gets a little depressing not getting to play for long because they take forever. Second one is the difficulty to gather stone. Another quarry would be very useful. Lastly, the monthly cost for VIP is just way too high for what little is offered. I would have VIP if it wasnt $20 a month.

This used to be a fun little game; send ships out, collect what they bring back, build my town and improve my ships, lather rinse repeat. Since the update, I can no longer collect from my ships, as I am forced to Reload. It has been days since i could do more than collect fish. I can't even tell if the new update that caused this is any good, but it looks like it will mostly be annoying.

Fun game, but I have one major issue. Had game installed less than 24 hours and it has crashed twice, normally not a big deal, but both times it crashed was after an upgrade. After restart upgrade not there and materials are also not there, so I can't redo upgrade. This is very, very aggravating, and will cause me to change rating to 1 star and uninstall if this cannot be fixed.

Long term player turning in my sailor hat. Played almost 3 years, on many times a day. It was a great game. Balanced right so it was challenging and rewarding to play. But particularly last 4 months, devs have gone nuts. Started with videos creeping in, now you're stuck watching them often. XP/leveling up is off balance, I'm at lvl 347, but struggle to have boats I need. 10 new things every month, all done half assed and not thought of from player view. Don't listen to player input on forums.

Most games I install and then eventually over time phase them out. Seaport has stayed on my phone since the day of installation (I think its been two years) and while I have not played it consistently, I never would have uninstalled it. The art is great, the ads are only optional, the events aren't necessary if I dont want to (big reason to play for me), the game is pretty laid back for me. There was a time when I was having trouble with progression but they fixed the issue. The game is just great, and the devs seem to listen to their community. BIG PLUS.

After 2+ years of playing this game I've watched it rise and now sorta fall. It was a great game now it's a ok. I don't mind the subscription but it's not worth the $20 imo, as a lvl 420+ player who pays for stuff here and there. I've spent at least $150 in total. If the ditch the whole event pass B.S that cost $5, and offer more from the $20 subscription then l can see myself paying more money on the game(for the Subscription). Till then, NO DEAL!

This game is overall great and I love it, even after reinstalling the app and have to start over from scratch I still loved it. That was, until I encountered a terrible glitch which rendered the game completely unplayable. It worked totally fine for the first few hours but one unfortunate moment I try to log onto Seaport and it says I have problems with my internet connection despite the fact my internet is working completely fine. I tried multiple ways to fix it, and none have worked.

This is a fun game, but a recent change is a bit ridiculous. The developers added a "collect all" button so you don't have to hit the collect button on each individual ship, but to get access to "collect all" you need to get a $10/mo subscription. Not even a 1 time purchase, a full on subscription. If they have to charge for this functionality it should be a permanent unlock when you buy one of the event passes and not have it tied to a monthly subscription.

This game is pretty cool for the most part. The idea is interesting and the features are good. But there's a few problems, especially with the UI. I don't like how the game seems to alternate between the Use/Upgrade option and just going to the upgrade menu when tapping on a building. It seems to be totally random and it's annoying. The "Slide to start" way of using a building is also annoying; Why can't you just have two buttons: One for using and one for upgrading? World map could also use some work. I'd like to be able to tap on a destination and have the game auto-assign the best ship available to go, rather than having to manually click on the ships from a list AND THEN click on a destination. And also, while this isn't really a thing for me, some people might view Christopher Columbus's presence in the game as problematic. Still, it's a nice time-waster, just fix the UI.

Great game. Very addictive. The only game I have continued to play. It does have a few dumb "features......" You are to poke the barrels that float to the surface, but they often pop up behind icons on the screen. You have to scroll past all your "ships in use (useless)" to get to available ships and you can't sort your available ships by capacity, crew, or level. Really dumb and easy to correct, but no. There are icons which serve no purpose ("buildings"), but are left as clutter.

I've been playing this game for a few years and I love it. I'd love to see an update that allows us to chain multiple ships together to the same destination, as having to individually ship out a fleet of 33 is quite tedious. It also wouldn't hurt to have different background colors to easily distinguish between each level of ship (i.e., 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5). Those two things would make this game 5 star worthy.

I’m officially retiring from this game. There are many reasons for my retirement as it WAS a fun game, but it has just gotten too boring for me, amongst other issues. I played the game for about 18 months and achieved level 565. I have approximately 5.5 billion (yes BILLION) coins, wood and fish. I have over 1.1 billion (yes BILLION again) iron and stone pieces. Accumulating all this adds almost nothing to the game. Sure, I can use them to buy a base un-upgraded ship, but usually I also need another ingredient (like oil or a specific item with the current theme), which is usually hard to acquire, and the upgrades of ships are at ridiculous ratios. So, it’s pretty dumb to acquire ships at the lowest un-upgraded level, and you should use your gems to acquire fully upgraded ships. I did that, and had 88 ships, and 52 are in the museum, and the remaining 36 active ships have a capacity of 85,000 goods, which is more than enough for most contracts. So, I stopped acquiring ships, and now also have over 5,300 gems, which I can’t use for anything useful. In addition, the added a new reward – flowers. This is the absolutely most useless reward. It adds no benefits, other than making a location more beautiful. It does nothing in fulfilling contracts and events. Just makes something prettier. Who cares how pretty my lake or my dockyard is? How do the flowers help me complete contracts, jobs or tasks? The downfall of this game started when they added their monthly subscription fee. It’s US$19.99 a month, which equates to ~US$240 a year. Plus, on top of that they had monthly events, where you can buy an event pass to get you more goods and treasures, which was US$8.49 an event. They have about 10-12 events a year. So, say there are 11, you need to put up another US$93 per year. So, playing this game could cost you about US$330 per year. That is ridiculous for a game, any video game. A Microsoft 365 license costs US$99/year. Subscription to Netflix, Disney+ AND ESPN+ all together will cost you about US$230 for a year. So, paying for this game is equivalent to having MS Office, Netflix, Disney+ and ESPN+. Not sure who the pricing analyst is for this game, but they need to get a dose of reality. This game is nowhere close to being worth $330 a year. Ads. F-ing ads. This game is full of ads. Every time you get a treasure or need to replenish something you have to watch a f-ing ad. There are so many ads. So, on top of paying US$330 a year, you have to watch all their ads. Sometimes at critical points you have literally watch 4-5 ads all within a few seconds of each other. On top of that, you have to watch the ads in order to get double the necessary materials, and often the button to watch the ad just does not work. The worst part is that their algorithms for ads is so bad, that you watch the same f-ing ad 4-5 times over and over. Way way too many ads. The ads can range from 15 seconds to some that are 45 seconds to a minute. Nightmare. Finally, the actual game play has gotten so predictable and repetitive. Most events are around a month long, but I’ve been able to complete them often with a week or two left. At that point, I can't really do anything in the game, except send my ships to collect more and more materials (see comments above about the BILLIONS of materials I have). They try to add a quirk here and there, but at a high level, it is the same thing event after event, all for US$330 a year, and filled with too many ads that you have to watch. I’m done with this game and will use my time for a game that actually offers a challenge without a ton of ads and high prices. This game was good for a while, but they got greedy and could not make it interesting. People should play this game, if you’re ok watching A LOT of ads, but stop at a certain point and move on to a different game.

The game is calm and enjoyable to play. I used to actively click the ads to support the developers. Now, I completely refuse to. Too often, the ads have a false X to close, which actually opens the Play store. That's bad, but some ads open the Play store without any interaction from me, and that's going too far. I waited a few weeks but this nonconsensual behaviour continues. I'll be deleting my account.
