For new updates, this app never discloses what's actually new. Only the arrogant among the lines of "Enjoy our updated app!". 1 star review until this is fixed, so I can read about what's /actually/ updated.

Was under the impression it would be video footage we could access however this is not the case its photos only on request and takes quite some time for them to come through!

Generic and not so ambitious. Does what it should with the provided features but is slow with status updates even when the main unit is in the same network as smartphone.

Not bad but, slow in responding, in addition it lacks the option to arm and disarm the alarm system with biometrics instead for the code.

App works fine. Big improvement with the new SAS system. Small bug. If you disallow system access on the user's, it will also remove connected tags. You cant activate them your self again so an installer has to come

Almost unusable. It's always a lottery if I'll be able to set my alarm or not, the app just loads and loads. Sometimes it allows and sometimes just keeps loading forever.

Nice UI but really wish it had schedules that it turned on and off automatically. Very sad I can't have it automatically turn on at night.

Can't arm/disarm with fingerprint. I'm not comfortable with entering the code openly on the bus for anyone to see. Fails to display temperature in bedrooms. Fails to instantly notify of all arm/disarm events. "Oops. Something went wrong," is not a comforting error message from a security company.

My app looks nothing like on the pictures. Don't know why I can't see what doors are open and closed and the temperature on display. It doesn't impress anyone with loading speed. Why do I not have the same app and functionality as tge pictures show?

Good app to see the status of alarm and enable/disable it. However, the app is slow in connecting with the alarm system. There is an option to show temperature but I always get an error that no internet connection.

The alarm system is good, but the customer service and administrative department are the WORST IMAGINABLE. They completely ignore questions from a customer, are not able to send me an overview of amounts paid/to be paid. I cancelled the agreement because paying 500+ per month is too expensive in the long run. I was offered an much lowered price (350) twice. I still wanted to cancel. The last night before the removal of the system there were 4 fake fire alerts between 1 and 4 am. Something that never happened before. I am nearly sure Sektor Alarm used these to convince me to keep my susbscription. Conclusion: - good alarm system - too expensive - trying to keep me with fake alerts is unethical - you really need to do something about your customer service.

9 out of 10 times ap will show "Could not connect to system". I have recently started using Sector Alarm's service like 15 days ago. Mobile application is terrible. I don't know if it's the mobile application itself or if it's their backend system. Overall experience is pretty bad.

Your app is not working every second week, one week is fine and I can turn on/off the alarm in a second, the week after it doesn't connect to the server and I'm unable to use it completely, on both iPhone and Android. When it works, it's perfect, but often it doesn't work at all. Fix it because I pay a lot of money for your services.

Their API is reverse engineered and available, so most system developers could probably build something better in one day. Or you could integrate the alarm with Home Assist, to get the same functionality other companies offer in their apps by default. But we should not NEED to do that. This app is the only reason for me talking with Sector Alarm about a refund and canceling my subscription.

At first I wasn't going to leave a bad review, but after lazily scrolling past some of the previous reviews, it's evident this issue has been around for over a year... First of all, after signing into the the very first time, I can no longer sign in at all. I'm not in the mood to wait more than 10 seconds for a security app to load the most basic info possible. Clearing cache and reinstalling the app doesn't help. I bet I could fix this app entirely within a reasonable amount of time, no joke.

Still can not create and activate one-day codes for entry. When trying to activate them (using valid password and waiting an eternity for sync), the code is still listed as "inactive". Everything takes an eternity. If you want to quickly open the app and disable the alarm, you first have to wait for it to connect to the alarm and check the status. There is no option to skip this and simply order the alarm to either turn off or stay off. There is no way to auto generate keys and copy the code.

Takes long time to load that is almost unusable. Unacceptable. The functionality in the app is average. There are no smart home integrations available and the UI is basic. The big problem is it takes ages (up to a few minutes) to load the interface that allows you to arm or disarm. Keep in mind we are paying around 50 euros a month for the service and still the app that comes with it is way under the standard of other apps. This is so bad we are considering canceling the service.

The user experience of this app doesn't quite match the security system and customer service which are quite good (giving credit where its due). The app is awful to say the least. Lags and hangs most of the time. My preferred language is English, yet all notifications come in Finnish. Small things but would have significant impact on the user experience

Little basic compared to Verisure but it is fast and works. Took a day after I had the alarms installed before I could take any pictures. There are many features that you get with Verisure that I would like to see here such as scheduling; being able to setup when the alarm automatically arms and disarms. Being able to rename your devices; on the website they all have the same name but in the app they are different but not customisable, I want to change the names so they are meaningful to me.
