PLANTING CALENDAR
Add crops to your planting calendar to easily visualize when to seed, transplant, harvest and more - all based on your local area. With your Seedtime Planting Calendar you’ll be able to:

GARDENING TASKS

- Mark tasks as complete as you do them in the garden (syncs with the planting calendar)

I originally got the basic Seedtime free account and was really happy with that. Because i've been gardening for over 60 years with pen and paper, the app was mindboggling at first. Loading in all my seed packets was quick and easy. I quickly upped the ante and bought a lifetime account. Having the layout plan at my fingertips is incredibly efficient. Can't wait for the weather integration !

Oh my gosh, I love this app! It is so easy to use, and if there is something I don't know how to do there is a tutorial for it. I have the yearly unlimited right now and I love the visual they have of setting up my garden beds and what is growing when. The free version is pretty amazing too. I love how i can see when to plant my seeds, when to harden them off, when to transplant. It takes the guess work out of Gardening.

Paid version: LOVE IT! I bought a lifetime membership before it had the features I needed for perennials, but they faithfully added them over time with more to come. If a feature is missing for you, trust the roadmap! As a new gardener, I was overwhelmed using a big spreadsheet that I had to pull plant data into, and separate layout & mobile task apps. Seedtime has all of those! The father/son team is cute, and Paul (cofounder) has responded personally and quickly to support tickets & feedback.

A wonderful app I love it , very easy to add, task are easy to check, journal great, soon inventory will be added to Seedtime , saving time is enormous , knowing when /how to do every task. Adding new crops in a flash. the layout I am still learning but is very easy to do , didn't take the time yet . I love it and recommend to anyone looking for an easy planner and a peace of mind of planting, harvesting easily. Thanks Seedtime Team for providing this tools for gardeners.

I started seedtime a few years ago. it was great then and constantly improving. I loved the easy organization of all the plants I put in the garden. The automatic schedule just from entering plant type was a life saver for me. This past year I got the App on my phone which sends me task reminders, was such a great tool for me. I love the layout tool as well, I am still a baby gardener, keeping track of what is planted where has helped me learn where different plants flourish.

My garden has never produced before like it is now with this app. It's amazing, praise God! One challenge with the app is that it tells me where I should be with a crop instead of how to start it. For instance, if I put in a crop id like to grow, it doesn't tell me when to start next season if it's already in the middle of it's season. I then have to delete the mistimed crops and try to enter them another time by just guessing. I probably just need to learn more about setting things up.

As an extension to the computer version, it gets 5 stars. The phone app is limited in use, but it is a great way to check off tasks as you do them! Before the app came out, we had to print the tasks and then log back in to check them off. If you are expecting it to be the entire program, you will be disappointed. However, if you use this as a checklist, you will LOVE it!

This app has been a game changer for my gardening experience! Love it and highly recommend it. The team behind this app are very supportive and go above and beyond to help if you have any questions or issues. They truly care about their product for everyone to use and it's free! They do offer subscriptions but for beginners or budget conscious folks the free version is amazing. I never rate or recommend anything, but this app is so worth it. Let's get everyone on board with gardening!

This is a great app especially for a beginner. I grow from seed primarily and it really helps me with timing of seed to transplant. And the schedule can be fully customized to your area. It uses your growing zone as well to make recommendations of when to start seeds and transplant. It also reminds you when to cultivate. I bought the upgraded version because I'm a need and wanted to be able to use the layout feature!

I love Seedtime! I've been using it for a few years to plan my garden and stay on track for planting, maintaining, and harvesting. It just keeps getting better. The mobile app is relatively new. It's not perfect, but I can see it getting better, too. I like the app to check garden tasks and upload to the journal, since I like to include pictures in my journal entries, and they're usually on my phone. IMO, it's not 5-star, yet, but it will likely be when Layout becomes available on mobile.

I'm very optimistic about the free version of this app. It uses your location and populates your calendar for each vegetable, whether starting from seed outdoors or transplanting, starting plants indoors. Bed preparation, harvest, other tasks populate based on the variety you selected. Very cool. The paid version is even more robust. But this is an impressive app. Very easy to use.

The ability and ease of this program makes planning a complex schedule easy. In previous years I've only looked at one harvest, maybe two. But with this app I was able to schedule the whole year. I was able to find times where too much work was planned and other times where I could do more. The calendar made it easy to just drag dates around. After I set up the calendar, I then needed to be able to plan the 'where' and 'how many'. That is where the subscription comes in....WORTH IT.

So far I'm finding the app pretty simple and handy to use. It was a little daunting at first as I am tech impaired, but finding the how to videos directly in the app made learning how to use it quick and easy. I am a pretty new gardener in a cold part of the country so seedling timing is very important, and so far this is taking all the guesswork and note taking out of start times. I guess I'll have to update the review once my plants have come along and see how it all worked out for me!

Amazing app! Very easy to use and organized. Great for really maximizing efficient planning and the built-in schedule is a life saver! It answers a lot of questions of when I should start this or when should I do that. I fully attribute my success with gardening the last 2 seasons to the folks at Seedtime! Cannot recommend enough for anyone who wants to take their gardening to the next level!

Although I'm rather new to the app, I can see a big difference in how the garden is doing this year. The layout section has been especially helpful in giving my plants enough room, and they're thriving. It will also allow me to forecast the harvest with more precision so I can plan my storage and canning schedule more efficiently. I really appreciate that Paul sends automated email explaining the tricky parts of the app. The only things missing are perennial veggies and fruit.

I have only been using the free version so far but have been impressed. The UI is intuitive and easy to navigate. I like the ability to reset timelines to current date (a nice feature for those that procrastinate or are new to gardening like myself). Given the features the free version has, I would definitely pay for the Premium version once I get more experience under my belt.

Overall, this app has been amazing and super helpful as I get into gardening. The only things I think could improve this app would he a raised bed layout system such as the one Planter has and the option for container or raised bed gardening for us urban gardeners, but I have separate apps for that, too. I love that this app schedules everything and allows for manual settings.

As with all AI, there are limitations, but "Sprout" is easy to use and provides informative answers. My question was about working with perennials in Seedtime. I knew this feature was coming, and "Sprout" confirmed this but did not suggest a workaround. Found it quite easy to simply indicate a "seeding" date, delete all other default tasks, and then add a custom task relative to the "seeding" date. Multiple custom tasks can then be added relative to "seeding" or other tasks. POWERFUL!

Wonderful app! So easy to use and makes garden planning fun, which has been a tedious task for me in the past. App is more simplified and organized than other apps which I really like compared to others that had too much going on,even though it did seem more fancy and high tech. You really just need basic tools to make a garden successful! This app checks those boxes so far! User interface could be a little more polished across all devices. Highly recommend for any skill level of a gardener.
