Horrible app, it won't find the device and therefore cannot pair with it. so it needs to be returned. I've never experienced such an awful setup process and a program unable to find something so simple I have over 100 smart devices integrated in my home. This product has been out for quite some time and lacks basic functionality. Save your money buy an rm mini or pro for a 3rd the cost of this paper weight.

The app just gives me a blank screen on mobile for climate react if it wasn't already set up. Otherwise it works well. I took off two stars because of the undisclosed monthly fee pay wall in front of half the features. It's not OK to hide that a bunch of the features only work with a subscription. It isn't in the product features, description, or anywhere in the website. I wouldn't have bought mine if I knew about that. Is hiding that even legal?

So you can reply to reviews but not support emails? I am still waiting on a reply from 2 days ago! My problem is not a Wi-Fi problem it's a problem with this app or the devices. it will not connect to any Wi-Fi there's probably 10 different Wi-Fi accounts near me and the app will not see any of them. It just crashes when searching for wifi. Yes I have tried to connect manually as well. Didn't work.

The internal function that's supposed to allow you to configure a Sky device's wifi settings is broken and doesn't work. After providing all the settings and attempting to save them to the device, what happens is the app "spins" for several minutes and then exits with an error "There was an error while configuring the Wi-Fi network of your Sensibo device. Please reset the device and try again. If the error persists, please contact support." The error DOES persist, no matter how many attempts you make. The only way to successfully configure the WiFi settings on a Sky device is to use its "access point" mode after using the reset button. However, the documented process on Sensibo's web site for accomplishing that is ALSO wrong and leaves out one critically important step: changing the device mode from "access point" to "station".

Liking the new app design! Finally have the graphs and log in the app! The new paid "Plus" thing is a bit disappointing but at least its only for features that the app didn't have before. $2.99/month is a bit steep considering the cost of these devices to start with. My justification of the up front cost that "you're paying up front for what would usually be a subscription" is a bit harder to sell now. As long as you dont lock other existing features under the pay wall, all is good in my eyes.

Works exactly as promised. Love being able to set schedules and Auto turn off my kids AC who always forget Would be nice if somehow it could tell if the AC was on or off when the OEM remote is used instead of the app, but don't see how that would be possible since there isn't a direct integration into the unit, and it's besically a remote relay. Great buy either way. Bought one for my master bedroom, where I wanted it the most, but ended up getting 5 more for the other rooms in the house.

Good, better than the alternative of just using a dumb remote and not being able remote into the thermostat, but could be even better. Climate react could have more than two conditions, seems like an asinine limit, especially since the thermostat on the Sensibo units don't refresh often enough to get stable room temperatures, nor does auto mode on any mini split let you set the temperature.

Great for scheduling times and temperatures to keep the room comfortable while saving money. The only drawback is that it seems to reset what it thinks the temperature is to the unit itself, instead of following the temperature at the remote, 20 feet away at the warm side of the room. So any time the schedule updates the unit, I have to toggle the Follow button on the remote again to get it to behave properly. If this can be added into the app, it would be 5 stars.

It doesn't always shut off/come on when I turn it off/on via the app. Sometimes I have to turn it on/off almost a half dozen times before it works. I am within the range that Sensibo says I should be as well. Also some of the timers I have set but turned off as of late they still come on regardless of them being switched off. It's far from perfect, that's for sure. When it works, it's pretty cool. I just never know if it's actually on/off when I'm not home.

Exactly what I was looking for! I recently installed a Carrier heat pump system, but the manufacturer wifi manager was poorly rated so I chose to install without them. I wanted to schedule start times, but none of the wired smart thermostats seemed compatible with my unit. This allows me to use the same signal as the remote that came with the unit. The set up was extremely simple and I had it up and running in minutes. It has been running perfectly for nearly a month now.

Even though you've bought the hardware, some of the app features (like the timer, or setting conditions under which your unit will change state) require a monthly subscription. My app also frequently reverts to displaying temperature in Celsius after I tell it again and again to use Fahrenheit. And it's frequently out of sync with my unit (which I realize is the nature of the IR remote technology my heat pumps use, but it's still worth mentioning).

The app works well for me. Had some issues with the hardware. 2 of the 4 that i bought eventually failed, but Sensibo replaced those free of charge, so kudos for the excellent service. I now only have an issue with geofencing. When my phone is locked, the geo function does not kick in, which is annoying. Could be my own phone setup, but i don't remember changing any settings.

The device itself is great. Easy setup with my Mitsubishi minisplit, and works from 20' away in direct line of sight. The Android app has some rough edges, but works ok for basic remote control and setting up the unit to turn on/off on a schedule. I was hoping it was a more full-featured thermostat, but it's basically just a web-enabled remote control plus temperature sensor.

I agree with other reviewers here: stop charging for the little things, I've already paid a bunch for the product. All I want to do is automatically set the AC based off of the room temp/humidity. Climate React gets me halfway there, but since the unit is also a heat pump, I'd like to be able to set multiple climate react rules depending on whether it's too hot OR too cold.

No issues, products work great, a/c has had great connection. But for the love of God, can we stop with pop ups in an app of a product I already paid for. Why do you need reviews for your app that is literally required for your product to work. It's an app review, not a product review. And why are there banner ads now? Maybe once or twice for market saturation, but living there, really?

The app functions OK. For some reason the setup of my two newest units read the remote incorrectly and had it in Celsius instead of Fahrenheit. I changed the units but then it adjusted in 2F increments. Support told me to manually set a different profile, which I did, and while it works OK now I can assure you the one I settled on is not the exact setup for my units. One suggestion, please add a button to toggle all schedules on or off. On nice days I'd love to shut down the AC with one button.

Numerous problems. Fan speed settings are incorrect. Hold and sweep not accurate. Randomly switches to Celsius. Temperature selections do not match my mini split temperature settings. They had me call for a telephone problem solving session that took over an hour, to no avail. We tried different program profile settings to no avail. Other than that perfect.

Works sometimes, and then certain features suddenly don't work. The latest is that it will only turn the ac on, but nothing else. Reset everything, including my wifi. No luck. What the heck is going on? It's easy to use when it works, but beyond frustrating when it doesn't. Looking for help in Support just circles you back to the app. Duh! If the app had the answer in the first place...!!

Works well for what I need. I use two of these to control AC window units mounted in the walls of my shop. I do not use any of the other features outside of on/off and sometimes temp adjustment. Don't hide your remotes, you'll need them to resync with the app after a power fail or other sync affecting event. Temp same, sorta-kinda can accurately set temp but eventually will get out of sync. Best performance is direct in front line-of-sight. Off to side even near unit - not reliable.

It won't become a smart controller unless you have the monthly subscription. You need the function that syncs AC power with Climate react and you only get this with a subscription. Also it seems that it doesn't control properly. I am going to get a temperature and humidity sensor and mount next to the sensibo unit because the graph readouts make no sense. also when it says it should be on it isn't
