shutting down unnormally because of infinite loop(maybe) and cannot detect Internet connection in some situation in which I have to reboot system to reset. Now I degrade to old version(4.7.*)

Hello Team, first of all thank you for this wonderful app. Do you think you could add support for Vmess protocol? There is a few apps around but none have all the functions of yours. It would make it just awesome!!!...Thank you for considering it.

I like Shadowsocks It would be even better if it had these two options: 1. Automatically check all the servers and activate the best one 2. Selecting multiple servers together and deleting them

[Edited Review] Works perfectly and its flow of data is much faster than OpenVPN [Original Review] Doesn't work on any of my devices. Switched to Postern which works well.

Honestly, I left my expectations with shadowsocks for about the performance. Im wireguard guys before that, and my isp clearly slowing down any all premium vpn speed including express vpn or alternate vpn like wireguard. Using shadowsocks its not priority because it doesnt work like general vpn. But i was shocking about the performance. It can bypass what isp limiting speed and not implementing complex system like wireguard or openvpn do. Overall very easy to use to bypassing isp limitations

Awesome work, love it Checked some 1 star comments about app didn't function. It's bacause this is a TOOL, it doesn't provide any server information, doesn't mean you get a car for free when you got your driving license

It's good but the status icon is too much like Telegram which is annoying because now it looks like a have an unread message all the time.

Overal, i love this app and how smooth it is but i have some tips to make it better: can you make an option to test all of the existing profiles and remove the not working ones automatically? because sometimes you have hundreds of servers and you don't know if all of them are alive

perhaps the app does have some minor issues on connection establishment, but as far as I can think of, the app provides client services, it does not have any server side things that relate to the servers it connected to.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I have paid for a subscription and have been using this horrible application since July. The application is unstable. I have 7 different servers and all of them don't work with FB, IG, ect. I have a 200mb line at home and I will be lucky to get 2mb when this vpn is connected. In the evenings this app just doesn't work because the servers are to slow.

5.2.0 fixed the CPU issue！Thanks！！ The 5.1.x version has problem on CPU consumption, my s10 gets heat up after using for a few mins, the last core is always 100% (5.1.7), back to 5.0.6 and everything is normal.

To users who are complaining about slow speed, this app is only a CLIENT for a PROTOCOL. which means, this app DOES NOT provide services on itself !!!! so if your speed is slow or whatever, contact the person you've bought your service from instead of leaving one star reviews on an app that doesn't have ANYTHING to do with the slow servers you're using.

I love it. It's great and I've used it a long time. I wish you would bring back the "stop service" button on the notification though, that was useful. Or at least add the option in settings... Thank you (:

there is a bug in the app that cause blocking internet access after some changes in network state.after turning off the app and turning it on again the problem is gone. I tried the other shadowsocks client with the green icon, which I think is some version behind this app and it's ok.so I guess the issue is related to recent versions of the shadowsocks app ( gray icon )

Thanks for this application. It is great when using Internet behind corporate firewalls. However, recently the VPN mode stopped working for Internet connections. It works for local ips in the server location only. Proxy mode still works fine. So I'm using Firefox and foxyproxy. So I'm guessing it's a phone issue, not really an app issue. Phone​ is a Samsung s21 running android 13

*update: Tracked down some info somewhere suggesting to put 8.8.8.8 in remote dns field. Been working since. Not sure it's a shadowsocks issue so giving back some stars. Better help would be nice.* Well it used to work. Now it doesn't. Reinstalled three times now. Failed to detect internet connection. Unable to resolve host. Nonsense. Unstable and unreliable for days. Every once in awhile it works for some reason, then goes back to not working again.
