I am a huge fan of Shapez on PC and thought it would be fun to play on mobile. It runs smoothly so far, but I find the controls pretty clunky. You also can't zoom out nearly far enough. It really feels like this wasn't adapted for smaller screens. Milestones also won't display while you're zoomed out which I find very irritating. In short, great game but not great port imo. I paid for the full version and I'm finding it too inconvenient to continue to play.

Amazing game, I come back to it often. My only problem is in the way later stages. It all starts to be too much for the game, I guess? Even if you keep the machines nice & tidy, the later levels don't work like they're supposed to. They don't count half the items you turn in, or it doesn't count them at all. This usually happens to me in the way later stage where you make the little watermelon shape. Other than that, it's a pretty good game to just idle mess with and throw ideas around in.

Copying groups of buildings is bugged. It charges you for them, but then as you're trying to paste the design, if you zoom out too far when trying to maneuver (which is easy to do with the poor view movement controls on mobile while trying g to place things) then it all just disappears and you just lose everything. And it doesn't refund the materials. First time I've tried using it (since you can't until you've paid for the game), and I lost 1000 materials and now can't even afford to try again.

This game is great! I love how simple it is yet satisfying, only real downside is the progression is really steep for a non-idle game. If you can implement a way for the game to "keep playing" in the background in order to passively grind for the absurd amount of shapes, another thing is when placing objects and zooming out the buttons dissappear with the action, but are still clickable in the menus witch is VERY annoying. Those changes would make me change this rating from 3 to 5 stars!

I love the game- but the further that you get along in the game and the more 'machines' Let you add into the environment, the slower it goes. It feels like my phone processor is getting bogged down- and this app sucks battery power like no other app on my phone. I absolutely love it, but wish it was less of a battery hog and that it would not be so choppy. I'm using a Pixel 9 Pro, so it's not that the processor on my phone is not capable of doing solid work.

The game itself is overall fantastic. there are plenty of little annoying things, but but it is a fairly fateful recreation of the PC version with allowances because of mobile. i would have loved to give it four or five stars, but what I find absolutely infuriating is every time you open the app it wants to connect to the internet. I'm quite often out of cell range, so anytime I want to play hopefully i opened it before I lost signal or else can't play. Why is offline play not a thing?

Love the game I've had a blast playing it so far but there is one bug that kind of drives me crazy. If you have resources near the edge of the map you cannot zoom in to them far enough to use them effectively. Please add an option to turn off the tooltips. Placing things under the tool tips is possible but unnecessarily complicated. Nobody wants to work blind.

I really love this game as a game but the mobile version has bugs that make the game more annoying like tunnels and compact mergers slow you down. I'm stuck on a level I usually can pass pretty quick on PC and I couldn't figure out until I found others talking about the bugs. Hope they get fixed because this really is a great game

Was having a blast but came back after a break and lost at least a couple of hours' worth of work despite the 2-minute auto save being on. Lost progress is one of my biggest gaming frustrations and leaves me never wanting to play again, especially considering others have reported similar issues. Absolutely gut wrenching because I love the sequel on steam and hoped this one would scratch the itch on the go.

I really want to like this game more. Glitches/bugs are graduating enough to give up for now. Copying large factories often disconnects parts and sometimes parts spontaneously seem to disconnect from each other. And accidental pastes from move/copy over existing parts can cause jams and random floating pieces that can't be gotten rid of. Also, it's a battery hog with enough going on. I really want to play it more, and have enjoyed it until i was doing big enough factories.

Best top-own factory game on the market. It's very fun, and doesn't get too difficult once you learn how to compact builds. However, Playing on mobile has been a struggle. glictches with making long belts while zoomed out can be frustrating, the game wanting to place something in a different location while building, and simply not deciding to reformat and release SHAPEZ 2 on mobile, or provide quality of life changes to this existing game is untapped potential.

Controls are Broken! I wanted to play this game because RCE is into it... I was so excited to play, but the controls make no sense. Who designed this for mobile?! Two fingers to pan is unnatural for a game. The tooltips are too big and they can't be turned off. Sometimes the controls just give up and skip all over the screen... NO UNDO BUTTON?! Infuriating. I can't do it.

Great game; I have spent a ton of hours playing this game on my phone now, and I have really enjoyed it. The biggest issue is that the game is not optimized. I'm on a Galaxy S22 Ultra, and after hitting around level 18, the fps starts to drop quite a bit. I am now on level 24, and even after only keeping critical parts of my factory running, the game runs at very low fps. With nothing else running on my phone and static belts turned on. Other than that, I'm hopeful shapez 2 will be made too.

I really liked the game and was having so much fun despite some minor glitches. But then, after a few days, I suddenly lost hours of game progress regardless of autosave being set to 2 minutes. This completely ruined my experience and made me uninstall the game. That's really frustrating, I don't think I could ever start playing again after that.

Great concept, disappointing execution. I enjoyed the main gameplay loop, but on my phone at least, I had huge issues with slowdown that actually affected the delivery rate. The interface needs work too. To reuse a factory elsewhere, I can copy it, but there's no clipboard, so I have to drag it across the map instead. It's awful. Tool tips get in the way. Locating shape/color clusters is annoying. Zooming cuts off the edges of the map. I could go on. All these things ruin the fun.

It's a good game. But could you please add an option for making the grid easier to see? The color you chose is so freaking subtle. I have to have the phone an inch from my face to see it so I can count the grid for planning my factories. I've turned the game off from getting too frustrated with this.

I'm going to preface by saying I'm not good at this game, at all. I don't have the mind for complex optimization with alot of moving parts, and I find it extremely frustrating to play. Even though I don't enjoy it, I still wholly recommend this for anyone who is into Factorio/Satisfactory type sims. The app worked flawlessly while I played. If this genre is your jam, if you like building and optimizing systems, this is for you.

My original review complained about lag that was happening once I got far enough in the game. I then found out that closing and reopening the game would remove the lag for a while. I had just finished making a large factory that was built to copy to other places, but the game was getting particularly laggy. I closed and reopened the game and found that NONE of my progress from that session was saved. I get back in the save and that factory was just gone. The game was fun before that though.

If I had rated this within the first few days of playing, I would have given this 5 stars. However, there's an ongoing problem where my factories stop working for no apparent reason. If I delete and readd the pieces, it will work for a few minutes, then stop again. This issue kept becoming more and more frequent until the frustration got to be too much. I may come back in a month or two to see if it got fixed, because otherwise it's a great game, but it's not terriblly playable as is.

glitch: some shapes didn't delete that were on a conveyor but seems to either got jammed up or off track, but can't remove them with sweep or putting conveyors back over it and removing. no way to remove , just dead pieces. other than that glitch, the game seems to run fine. not as complex as other really good factory games, but hey, it's free on Google pass.
