The premise is good, but it won't let you actually finish the first case and move on. Other than that, it's a decent time waster.

A nice combination of story and merging game. There's a good element of remembering where to get the correct items in order to make higher level items with a few random quests that add extra items to merge together

Having one generator make eight different products makes it hard to get anything. The board fills up and the gens time out quickly. And from what I've seen so far, you always get the lowest product no matter the level of the generator. The storyline progresses super slowly. Mostly due to the difficulty of getting items, but also because traveling, asking, and getting an answer are considered different tasks and each require a star.
